Stebbing Green Day Nursery sits on an idyllic rural setting in close proximity to commuting routes such as A120 and Stansted airport.

Just 10 minutes from Great Dunmow, 10minutes to Braintree, and 15 minutes to the channel development in Chelmsford, Stebbing Green Day Nursery boasts 1.5 acres of land.

The nursery provides the opportunity for outdoor activists all year round as well as space indoors, which continues to improve to create the most enabling environment for an individual child’s development and learning.

Established in 1991, the nursery continues to deliver high-quality care and education for children 3 months to 5yrs all year round, with additional care provided for older children in its breakfast club and holiday clubs.

The nursery also provides forest school and sports sessions with external service providers.

I cannot express how much we love this nursery.
They have been there through all our growth stages and we will be sad to leave.
The staff are always incredible and feel like family.

Our daughter has been at Stebbing Green since January 2021 and we are so pleased with our choice of nursery. She is thriving there in terms of friendships, confidence, language and wider understanding of the world. She takes part in so many fun and structured activities and everyone who works with the
children is so warm and welcoming and knowledgable. Stebbing Green has played a large part in who she is growing up to be and we feel safe and happy about her being there.

Both of my kids were attending Stebbing Green Day Nursery and my youngest one is still there! They both loved going to nursery and settled so well! The nursery practitioners are absolutely amazing there, very caring and loving! So much to explore for the kids and such a beautiful outdoor area as well!
Highly recommend the nursery for everyone who is looking for a nice setting for their kids to attend!

My son (4) and daughter (1) have both attended Stebbing Green Day Nursery since they were 8 - 10 months old and they both absolutely love it there. The staff are so friendly and genuinely care for the children. They get involved in a variety of activities which offer lots of fun and learning and it's
lovely watching my children's interests develop. There is plenty of outside space and outdoor play is prioritised every day. Both of my children have thrived there and I think my son will be very sad to leave for school in a few weeks.

My daughter has been attending Stebbing Green Day Nursery for nearly a year. We viewed lots of local nurseries and what stood out was just how friendly and passionate everyone was. There are a number of very longstanding staff members, which is a testament to what a lovely environment it is. We were
very fortunate that the brand new, purpose-built baby unit had opened just as our daughter started. The gardens are brilliant and I love that the children spend lots of time outside, rain or shine! Everyone is always so welcoming and communication is great. I get updates every day on the app and I always look forward to seeing what fun and messy activities they've all been up to. There are also regular updates from her key workers about her learning and development.
I'm so pleased with how well my daughter has settled, and I know that is because she is surrounded by people who have got to know her and genuinely care. Thank you to everyone at Stebbing Green.

My son is with Stebbing Green for 3 years, I can't say enough for this nursery, very friendly staff, fabulous green space, my son always asks if he can go to his nursery tomorrow (he is not 5 days a week), that means a lot for us.

My two sons go to Stebbing Green Day Nursery. They enjoyed going there since day one. The staff are so supportive and patient. They are great at communicating about my children. The atmosphere and activities are well thought out.

My son attends two nurseries at the same time, and I had two other boys who went to another two very highly rated different nurseries. I would say Stebbing Green is the best of all.
The amount of outdoor space they have is what attracts us initially but there is so much more the nursery has to offer,
the caring staff, the creative activities, and the management are lovely too!

Stebbing Green Day Nursery has been wonderful for my daughter. She has settled in beautifully, thanks to the kindness and support of her key workers and other members of the team. The staff are extremely caring and have been brilliant with our son. He loves what he's learning and talks fondly about the staff and his positive interactions with fellow peers. Since being at nursery his love of carrots and green peas has increased in abundance, which is always a good thing. He really

Stebbing Green Day Nursery has an amazing crew who show great care to the children. My older one is now in year one and still talks about his time in the nursery. My younger one, who is 3-years-old, is currently in Stebbing Green. Both of my boys enjoyed the nursery since day one. We really like the
room settings and outdoor spaces. Also, the activities the team reviewed and brought together for children really gives a good connection when they are transferring to pre-school.

A welcoming nursery who have looked after my daughter since she was 6-months-old.
We love how much outside playtime the children have, as well as the great food provided. The nursery has a “homely” feel, and all staff are lovely and helpful.
I can’t recommend Stebbing Green Day Nursery enough.

Having had the experience of three different nursery settings, we cannot rate Stebbing Green highly enough. The communication from staff is absolutely outstanding, the settling in process is well thought-through, and the educational experiences the children have access to are fantastic. The staff are
always friendly and welcoming, and I have a real sense that they know my child incredibly well. The office team also have fantastic communication skills - you feel part of a community as a parent.

We are striving to achieve the best for children, and have been working to improve every aspect of the nursery.
We have made a lot of effort to come up with a new improved menu with the support from professional dietitians and nutritionists. It would have been finished a year ago, however, with the pandemic, the project took a back foot.
We are excited that we were finally able to start the new menu this week. We are proud of the more varied food choices and the experience they will bring to our children. We are one giant step towards our healthy eating goal.

New to the area this summer, Stebbing Green made the transition from our previous nursery really easy! Our son settled in so quickly and absolutely loves it. A big tick for us is they spend so much time outdoors, and there is a great garden and field for them to enjoy. They do a lot of creative play,
which as working parents, we don’t always get time to fit the messy things in of a weekend. The staff are friendly and happy when greeting at the door, and we always hear the activities from the day and specific funny things he may have been up to as well as pictures and observations on the app. He is developing so much and does new things or will say a word that we know he has learned there. The office team have great communication also, even sending interesting articles or local events, which all helps feel like you are part of the nursery and not just dropping your child off at a door to strangers. They know the parents and the child, which for me, is as important as the educational framework.

Our daughter has been going to this nursery for the last year, and we are so pleased with it. She loves going in and seeing the ladies there; they are all lovely, and we feel totally safe leaving our child there.


They are always doing lots of creative activities and spend a lot of time outdoors exploring

and playing, which is great.

Fantastic nursery! Both my daughters have been to this nursery and absolutely thrived in its surroundings and loved the supportive staff. I would not hesitate in recommending this nursery to anyone. The facilities are great and the gardens and outdoor spaces are fantastic! Both my girls have loved going

The staff at Stebbing Green Nursery are wonderful people who clearly enjoy their work and consequently, children are well cared for and settle well each morning. They make efforts to do lots of different activities and crafts and in the summer the children enjoy lots of playtime in the garden where
there are lots to do.
There is plenty of feedback to parents both at the pick-up time and also tracking each child's development with detailed reports during the year. The family app is good for keeping up with the day's activities and when child has slept. The food is great and healthy snacks keep the kids going too.

We have two children at this nursery and they have been attending for the last few years. The staff here are excellent and the children are encouraged to make friends with each other and play together. The structured learning is excellent and feedback is consistent. The staff know the children very
