The staff are great and a lot of love and nurture is felt in the 0-2's unit.

Hello, my name is Melanie Jerome and I am the manager at Basingstoke, Chineham. I have worked for Busy Bees since May 2010.
I gained my NNEB qualification in 1985 and went straight into a sole charge Nanny position for a family with 2 children. After 5 years of service, I decided to move on and took my first nursery position as a nursery nurse. I was successful in gaining a Deputy Manager position two years later and then given the opportunity to manage my first nursery. Since then I have had over 20 years of experience managing nurseries in London, West Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire.
Over the years I have ensured my training and development have been kept up to date. Most recent courses include Advanced Child Protection, First Aid at Work and Food Hygiene, to name but a few.
I am passionate about my role and thoroughly enjoy every day at work striving to maintain and improve the care, education and service we provide. The staff, families and children bring their own special uniqueness to the nursery and I feel privileged to share in their development, experiences, careers and lives.
