This Kiddi Caru nursery is located in the heart of the Whiteley Community Centre, next to the primary school. They offer flexible childcare for all families plus free childcare for all three and four-year-olds, as well as school days and a 45-week option, allowing you to take the summer holiday off with no childcare costs.

They understand that, as a parent, you have a million things to do and prepare for your child every morning. So, they were hoping to ease your daily routine by taking care of nappies for your little one whilst they are at nursery.

The nursery is proud of its well-resourced, age-appropriate playrooms, offering a wide and exciting range of learning experiences. Children are encouraged to learn through play and to follow their own interests. All educational activities are planned by the highly trained Early Years Practitioners. They have an amazing sensory room which is even used by external childcare services, an area that creates a calm learning environment.

Ask about the nursery's all-inclusive activity programme which is delivered by its very own staff and includes Sing & Sign, Boogie Mites; all fun activities with lots of educational benefits which the children love to do throughout the week.

The wholesome food is prepared fresh and daily by the onsite chef and caters for all stages from weaning to older children serving themselves to encourage independence.

Your little one is in very safe hands, not just within the secure environment which includes a double door entry system, but with the staff team all paediatric first aid trained and regularly attend training courses.

Thank you for taking care of both my kids. You have assisted both so much and taken great care of them. Thank you for all that you have done. Please keep up the great work and continue to do well. Thank you for everything. I would like to add I know that it may not be possible but it would be a great
added value if there could be some form of communication weekly on what the activity plan will be for the kids. Who is going to be looking after the child (keyworker), a possible menu for the week?

Really good nursery, my son loves it here. My only gripe is he always comes out with snot and bogies all over his face. It doesn’t take much for a baby wipe. However, he has really come along since being at Kiddi Caru.
One really big issue for me is the fact of paying over bank holidays when the
nursery isn’t open? It’s hard for parents who need to find alternative childcare and pay for it as well as paying for their ‘place’. I find it ridiculous. Same as I think you should be able to book a holiday for your child it’s awfully expensive if you wish to go on holiday and still have childcare fees to pay for.

Both of my boys love going to nursery here, the staff are friendly, helpful and have excellent communication. It’s lovely to see all the activities they do which helps them learn in a fun way. They accommodate each of my children's needs amazingly and are dedicated to helping their development. It’s
an amazing nursery and I would defiantly recommend!

Good nursery accommodating a lot of kids needs. My kids are always happy to go to nursery and they have plenty of activities as well as play on your own time. There is good communication with the staff.

My son has been here since January 2020. Originally placed as I worked nearby since the pandemic I now complete a 40-mile round trip each morning and evening to still bring him here. The reason - he loves it and so do I. The staff are friendly and genuinely care, for your child and you. The things they
do with the children are educational, fun and varied. The ways in which they communicate with you are prompt, professional and fair. I’ve often asked myself why I do this commute, especially now I expect to work from home for the rest of my time with my employer. Simply put, I don’t think there could be a better team of people or setting to look after my son. He skips in each morning, never looking back after a cuddle goodbye and talks so fondly of them all (despite being just 2 years old). I cannot fault anything they do, quite the opposite, thank you Kiddi Caru, for helping me raise a happy, well rounded, engaged and engaging little boy! Keep doing what you are doing as it really is appreciated.

Our son has been going to Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Whiteley since he was nine months old, he is now approaching two and a half. We were luckily enough to have a particular member of staff as his key carer from when he started right up until his recent move upstairs, he grew such a strong bond with her
and she was so helpful and supportive through his development. He now has another member of staff as his key carer, who he adores. He loves to come home and tell us everything he has done that day. Very grateful to have found such a wonderful nursery that helps him flourish and grow.

A fantastic place for our second daughter to attend. Great friendly staff which do a great deal to help the development of our daughter. A special mention to a member of staff in particular (Seal) who goes above and beyond to ensure our daughter is managed with affection. Thank you.

I can’t recommend Kiddi Caru enough. My little boys loves attending and he comes home in such a good mood. Thank you to all the staff for all you have done during lockdown, I’m forever grateful that you stayed open otherwise my little boy would not have any contact with any other children.

Overall our experience with Kiddi Caru has been very good. They were able to accommodate our child for the sessions we needed and allowed us to book just 2 half days per week which was ideal. They offered as many settle sessions as our child needed and were very understanding.
The staff have always
been kind and approachable and the communication between nursery and home has been clear and professional. They have good facilities including a large outside space and a sensory room.
They have performed brilliantly during the pandemic and worked extremely hard to reassure parents.

My daughter absolutely loves going into nursery and gets so excited every time we get into the car and drive there. The staff can’t do enough for her and they all have such a good connection with the children that attend. My daughter's keyworkers work very closely with her and I can't praise them enough
for the work they do. I truly believe it is down to them for how quickly she settled into the nursery. Thank you!

Our little girl loves going to nursery here. The staff are great and seeing the updates on Tapestry of their activities is brilliant. The menu is varied and healthy. The outside space is amazing and one of the main reasons we were interested. Would highly recommend.

Our first child went to Kiddi Caru nursery and towards the end of their time there we were thinking of moving on however it was only a short time before they went to school so we did not move.
When our second child came along we looked at other nurseries but did opt for Kiddi Caru purely for convenience,
due to dropping and collections at school and nursery. I know we are in strange times but there is no personal feel to the nursery, no care it seems as if you pay for what you get. The app has only just been updated with months worth of input, it seems to have been forgotten about. No real updates are given besides “they had a great day!” Written days notes are sparse. I am glad we have chosen to place our child elsewhere from age three as Kiddi Caru do not seem to bring the children on as well as they advertise, like the French advertised! I would not recommend this nursery to anybody on my dealings recently.

I find I need to prompt on what I believe should be pretty basic care sometimes i.e. twice in the last month on collecting my son have I pointed out that children have their shoes on the wrong feet. Every day my son is in I have to expressly ask for cream to be put on patches of red irritable skin around
his mouth (where he dribbles or eats) if I don’t ask, staff don’t think to do it themselves and he gets really sore. My biggest frustration is that I get such limited information on what my son has done all day on collection, all I hear is “we’ve played in the garden”. And if I probe for information I get met with blank faces. I’d like an actual update on what he’s done all day but I never get any information. I’d like to know what activities he’s done, what he enjoyed or didn’t show interest in, what targets or themes they are focusing on this week etc. this issue is further aggravated by the fact that I was promised a parent app would be implemented in August 2017......still waiting!

Lovely staff and my child is happy there.
I would prefer a little more of an update at the end of the day about what activities he is doing. For example, I have noticed his counting is very good, but I wasn't aware he was being taught or how they do this.

My son loves nursery and they do such a great job at Kiddi Caru. I never worry about him on his nursery days and he learns so much - they work hard on various skills for the children in a fun, safe environment.
