Children are welcomed into the family atmosphere of Kingscourt Nursery from the age of 2 years 9 months.

Children settle in well in the 'Caterpillars' class attending morning, afternoon or all-day sessions. Children then build on their confidence and learning further still in their second year in 'Butterflies' class, where they are well prepared to join the main school Reception class.

The exciting, sociable and secure environment allows children to discover their own learning style while staff get to know them and their individual personalities very well.

A dedicated team works closely with parents, meaning each child enjoys their time in their early years, emerging happy, resilient, well prepared and eager to begin formal education.

Kingscourt Nursery offers term-time wrap around care from Breakfast Club at 7.30 am to After School Care until 6pm including tea. The nursery offers 15 years EYG and accepts childcare vouchers.

The Nursery extension was completed in Autumn 2020, and features a state of the art, environmentally friendly new build for the youngest children to thrive in.

A play based curriculum is enhanced by daily opportunities to practice and learn new skills. Specialist sessions include, Spanish, Music and Outdoor Learning.

The Nursery is utterly spoilt by the acres of private grounds in which children play, explore and discover. Come rain or shine, they head outdoors for discovery walks, wildlife spotting, den-building and playtime.

My son thrived at the nursery. He loved his nursery days. He developed amazingly in all areas.
My only comment would be that the nursery doesn’t accept 30-hour funding which is offered by most other nursery settings.

My son has been attending Kingscourt Nursery for 1 year (started after Easter break 2021) and he really enjoys the experience. He has a lovely classroom, play area and grounds to explore with the friends that he has made. We have also noticed that his development in that year has been amazing, we are
constantly receiving compliments about his speech, friendliness and that he is advanced for his years. Thank you Kingscourt for encouraging and helping to develop our little boy.

I’m so grateful that we were able to get a good start for my children at Kingscourt preschool.
My children settled really well into the setting, learnt a lot, made good friends, built their confidence and thrived.
One member of staff is amazing in her own gentle but firm way of keeping the kids on
track and building up the school ethos in them slowly and steadily.
It was a steep developmental change when they changed from the daycare setting to Kingscourt preschool setting.
By the end, they were more than ready to start their school journey and made so much of beautiful memories.
Thank you to all the staffs particularly one member of staff who is the spine of the Preschool.

Kingscourt School provides an inclusive and effective start to education in a beautiful setting. The teaching staff really care about the children and we love that the whole school engages across year groups to provide a real family feel. The facilities at Kingscourt are excellent and there is a variety
of activities to aid the development of children at their own pace. Kingscourt has provided a great start to my sons education and we highly recommend the school.

My child has been attending the nursery for nearly two years and he absolutely loves it. All of the staff are kind yet professional at all times and so welcoming. The resources that the children have access to are endless and each child receives excellent one to one learning. Each day has a specific
structure to it, helping to prepare the children for reception. Reading and writing is a regular activity and we enjoy the home activities that we are given.

Excellent nursery in beautiful grounds, children are nurtured and cared for in a lovely environment. They learn and develop so much in Kingscourt and helps them to become independent before starting in reception.
We are so lucky to have this and what a wonderful to start their school life.
The staff
are so kind and caring and encourage them to try at all activities.
The building and grounds are beautiful.
