Kids Love Nature Kindergarten at Lymington, situated in the stunning New Forest and just 5 minutes drive from the centre of Lymington, has been rated 'outstanding' on three consecutive inspections.

Located in the former Victorian village hall of South Baddesley, the wonderfully dedicated and caring team make everyday extraordinary for the children.

This picturesque outdoor kindergarten combines beautiful classrooms, a kitchen, a delightful garden area and its own organic children’s farm. It also has its very own woodland.

The visiting artist supports the creation of masterpieces and the children help prepare the organic home-cooked lunch and snacks with the kindergarten cook.

Children's learning adventures continue into the garden and farm where they help look after the chickens and work on the vegetable garden. They even help cook bread and pizza in the cob oven!

The kindergartens dedicated woodland is just a few minutes walk away and here the children connect to nature, building dens, climbing trees and making popcorn over the small fire pit.

My daughters have been at Kids Love Nature for 3 and 1 year respectively. They are both always excited to go in the morning. We get clear information about what they have been up to through the app and a detailed briefing from a staff member at the end of the day. They spend a lot of time outdoors,
which is one of the reasons we chose the nursery. My daughters love walking to see the horses or growing vegetables (which often gets used in lunch!).

A fantastic nursery which has helped my son grow and develop into a wonderful toddler. He has learnt skills which I am sure he would not have learnt elsewhere or at home! Everyone is so lovely and the staff have been wonderful in encouraging him.

Absolutely gorgeous setting with the kindest of staff. Amazing farm with farm-to-table eating means our daughter is always learning about where food comes from.
Montessori-led learning, so just a focus on self-led exploration and play which is what we wanted pre-starting school.

Lovely nursery. Very caring and attentive staff. My daughter is learning so many skills. We absolutely love the outside aspect of this setting. She gets to explore so much more than an ordinary setting. She is always happy to go in and very happy coming out. Excellent communication from staff, they

We chose KLN Lymington for a number of reasons and have always been impressed with their level of care, kindness and professionalism towards both our children and ourselves as parents. The time our children spend outdoors, the activities they run out to tell us about at the end of the day, the art,
the reading, the cooking, the creative play, the food, the farm, the animals, the monkey bars! Above all though, the staff goes above and beyond every single day making every single child feel heard, loved and respected. Our eldest recently left to head to his next adventure at 'big' school and both our son and our daughter have gained stronger emotional resilience through the work staff do around feelings too. Couldn't recommend KLN highly enough!

Such a wonderful nursery that both of my children attended. A fantastic setting with excellent outdoor space and facilities. The staff are all so kind, caring and compassionate, and the way they support the children development is second to none. Would definitely recommend!

This is the most wonderful Kindergarten for little ones you could hope to find in the area. The space is beautiful and so much care and thought goes into a truly incredible learning environment. My little girl has been loved and nurtured from her first day and she comes home singing about all the friends
she has made. The warmth and kindness of the staff is what makes the Kindergarten shine. I feel so reassured as a parent that my little girl is in the best place she could possibly be at such a formative time. Kids Love Nature Kindergarten at Lymington is a truly special place and we feel very lucky as parents to have found it. Thank you.

This is a fantastic kindergarten, and I would definitely recommend it. My son and daughter have been attending since February 2020, communication was excellent all through the lockdown, and when they started back, I felt very confident about their Covid-19 protocols. They have built a good relationship
with the teachers and peers. They learn something new every day, and I love that they play outside in the fresh air every day, all day sometimes!

We moved from Australia and Kids Love Nature has been the best thing for our son to settle in the UK. I can’t thank the teachers enough for making him feel so safe. The outdoor space, little farm and spacious interior are great! The teachers have done a tremendous job making the kindergarten COVID safe
with keeping the element of fun!

We love this nursery. The staff are all warm, kind and friendly. And they work so hard, every week they come up with new activities for the kids. The setting is brilliant, you’ve got great outdoor space, and also the indoor area is perfect, open plan and packed with things to do. I really like the way
our kids can choose whether they want to be inside or outside. The nursery also really includes the parents - watching our kids sing Christmas songs at the annual Christmas party is a real highlight. Highly recommend a visit to the nursery so you can see all the above first hand.

Our younger daughter is coming to the end of her time at the nursery and together with her older sister, they had the most enjoyable early years experience that I could ever have hoped for.
Whilst there is a great emphasis on fostering independence, the staff are kind and nurturing, and form close
bonds with the children in their care. The wonderful outdoor facilities and immersion in nature are just what we wanted for our children at this pre-school age, and it is so refreshing to see the children chasing each other around in the garden and making mud pies, swinging on the monkey bars or watching the birds, rather than playing with plastic ride-on toys or noisy battery-operated instruments (none of which are in evidence).
When the children are ready to do some 'learning' in preparation for school, they are encouraged with this, at their own pace. Children socialise in mixed age groups, which leads to healthy, confident and resilient children who are well prepared for starting school.

I have my 2-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter here and I couldn't be more pleased with their placements. They are both outdoors led children and this setting was perfect for them. The woods, the farm (with pigs and chickens) and the fun outdoor spaces (my son is obsessed with the mud kitchen) are
just perfect for them. The staff are so helpful and nurturing. Both my children love going and have made great friends there. I have already recommended them to friends and will continue to do so. So pleased.

Brilliant, nurturing environment for the children to learn to become independent in everyday skills and to become confident with their own decisions. The free-flow atmosphere encourages them to learn to focus without being pushed into activities. Our 3 children have thrived here and taken the experience

A lovely, friendly nursery where children are nurtured to help bring out the best of themselves. Great little farm area where they can learn about nature and growing food/looking after animals. Healthy snacks and lunch provided, sometimes using the produce they themselves have grown.
Supportive staff
members who are able to pick up specific areas in which they can help your child's development e.g. speech, and then able to see the follow through from this.
Children aged 2-5 all under one roof, so able to learn skills and empathy from having different aged children to play with.
All in all, I would thoroughly recommend this nursery to parents wanting a nature style nursery.

I am a huge fan of the concept of the Children's Nature Nursery and our son not only has great fun there, he learns so much about nature, caring for animals, growing vegetables, cooking what you've grown etc. as well as how to count, read, write and draw. The children are free to use their imagination
and so even the smallest picture or craft item is enthusiastically encouraged. The staff are excellent and so caring with the children and seem to make each trip to the woods extra special, e.g. just thinking to take a hammock one day in the summer, resulted in great fun for all the children. Our son goes in happily and comes out tired and happy which is fantastic.

My little girl loves going to nursery and looks forward to it every week. She has learned and developed so much whilst at the nursery and this has been great to see through pictures and comments in tapestry. My son attended nature nursery until he started school in September 2016. He loved going there and spending his days playing outside in the playground, nearby woods and especially on the farm! He always talked about the chickens and how he helped to look after them.
When we had concerns about his
development, the staff at the nursery took it very seriously and arranged one to one meetings with us to address the issues. When my daughter is two, I am hoping she can start at the nursery too and benefit from the lovely surroundings the nursery offers.
