Busy Bees Andover offers a structured pre-school learning environment for 2 to 5 year olds.

During term time, Busy Bees Andover holds a weekly Parent & Toddler group every Thursday from 3.30-4.30pm. The cost is £2 for one adult and one child (with any additional children charged 50p), which includes a well earned cup of tea for parents and a drink and biscuit for the children!

No need to book, just pop in and come and say hello. New faces are always welcome and you do not need to attend the Magic Tower to join in.

Our daughter started Magic Tower in September and we could not be happier. The staff are amazing, they have shown a genuine interest in getting to know and understand her and adapted sessions to help engage her. The variety of skills development activities and learning both indoors and outside has been
superb and she has hugely grown in confidence. The environment is friendly, kind and caring and we are thrilled that our daughter has been able to start her academic life in such a fantastic place. We really couldn’t recommend it more highly.

I am constantly and consistently impressed by the care my son receives at Magic Tower. I feel he is in the best environment to thrive and is being given every opportunity to learn, play and be creative.

My son started at Magic Tower in September and is already thriving. The staff are amazing, so professional and kind and took the time to know my son's likes/dislikes within a few days. The classroom always has plenty for him to play with, and I regularly hear stories being read when I pick up and drop
off. I also love that the children have plenty of outside space to play.
I was very nervous about him starting, but the staff have been so helpful to me and putting my mind at ease when he first started.
The weekly update email is great, as it really helps to keep me informed on what has been happening and what the learning topics are. And it's lovely to see pictures of him playing and learning.
I am so glad our son goes to Magic Tower, I couldn't recommend them enough.

My third child is now at The Magic Tower and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The older two absolutely loved their time at Magic Tower and my current child is always so excited when it’s a nursery day. The staff are extremely professional, as well as friendly and kind. They all make a huge effort
to ensure your child is happy and thriving and the diversity of what they do and how they learn is fantastic. I have always been blown away by how fast they develop at Magic Tower: with their speech, learning to write their names and also understanding shapes and numbers. Most importantly, the learning is fun and the children enjoy it. Parents (and grandparents, other carers) are involved in a variety of events and activities over the year, which is lovely for both them and the children. My family always look forward to the Christmas carol concert in December! You are continually kept up-to-date with how your child is progressing and the staff are always on hand to help with any query.

As a parent, I've taken choosing the right nursery for my child seriously. Like many other parents, I have visited quite a few nurseries near my home before making my final decision. The Magic Tower Montessori Nursery School stood out from all of the others in many ways. Firstly, the staff at the nursery
are very friendly and kind. I can't forget their smiling faces after my first visit. It was the warm and family-like feeling that made me believe that my child would love to play in this environment. Secondly, the teachers are professional. Many of them have been working for the nursery for over ten years. The classrooms are bright and clean with good space both inside and outside for children to explore and play around. Last but not least, the management of the nursery is second to none. I've had a quick email response and phone call response every single time, so my queries can be answered or solved promptly. I definitely recommend this nursery to other parents.

Current Review Score: 9.8 (9.768)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.8 (9.768) out of 10 for Busy Bees Andover is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 9 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.9 out of 5 from 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.868 for Busy Bees Andover is calculated as follows: ( (95 Excellents x 5) + (8 Goods x 4) + (3 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 106 Ratings = 4.868

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 4.9 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Andover is based on 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.9

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 36 number of registered child places is 7.2, which has been reached with 9 Positive reviews. Points = 1

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
