Tops Havant, formerly known as Trospacc Day Nursery, is a friendly, active nursery based on the grounds of Trosnant Junior School.

The nursery environment provides an excellent opportunity for your child to learn, play and communicate with other children and adults. This nursery is part of a group that provides the most eco-sustainable childcare and education in the UK, being respectful of the environment and acting to reduce, re-use and recycle resources is an important part of the culture and routine for the children and staff.

In October 2018, Tops Havant were the 1st nursery in the UK to be awarded the Surfers Against Sewers title of Plastic Free Schools.

Parents with their children placed with Tops will experience exactly what makes Tops Day Nurseries different and be offered flexible booking where they can book to the nearest 15 minutes.

Tops Day Nurseries has recently introduced a number of extracurricular activities for the children including: Tops Cooking School, Tops Forest School, meditation, yoga, Rugby Rangers, Boogie Mites, tooth brushing and much more.

During a child’s day at nursery, staff will record important information to share with families, such as sleep times/nappy changes and information about milk/food intake. This information is added to a daily report which is submitted onto EYLOG.

Tops Day Nurseries has introduced a no-added sugar menu to all nurseries, ensuring children start their time at nursery with a nutritional, healthy diet.

Parents and carers are welcome to call the nursery to talk to a member of staff about their child and day at nursery.

The nursery offers up to 30 hours funding which is available for two, three- and four-year-olds.

Great and dedicated staff with great compassionate. Staff are very supportive and always ready to help out as much as they can. Staff are very sensitive and respectful to other people's opinion. My child progress in his speech and language has improved significantly since attending Tops Day Nurseries:

Helped my little boy settle in, really understanding of his needs and are amazing at reassuring him. He's now starting to come out of his shell and doing more imagination play on his own, with singing and humming. Helping him with his speech and they are the only people to listen to me when I said he

My daughter has progressed so much since she has attended Top Day Nurseries: Havant Nursery. She has a lot of confidence and has learnt so much. She enjoys her time there so much and always come out with a smile after having such a good day. All of the staff are amazing.

A very welcoming nursery. My cousin settled in almost immediately which is a very big deal as she is so shy. She loves attending and can’t wait to go back. The staff are all faultless and always there when you need to ask any questions. The nursery is managed very well. I would recommend this nursery
to anyone.

Tops Havant has been amazing from day one. My son absolutely loves his time at nursery, and he has developed so much in the few short months he has been going. He has gone from not talking at all to enjoying trying to learn new words and picking up new ones each day.
The nursery has been especially
brilliant lately as we have had quite a difficult time as a family with a lot going on. They have given my son stability and a happy place when things at home have been more difficult. I can not thank the staff at Tops enough for this. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Tops Havant has always been forthcoming, my son has a dairy intolerance and they were welcoming to him joining and sorted out his dietary needs. He loves his time there and is always excited to go back for another day! Staff is always super nice and sorts issues quickly.

My 2 boys have just started here in September. They are like chalk and cheese and the nursery have been great with both. Adapting their interaction to suit each child. Both our boys have flourished in the month they've been going and run down the path to go in. We were really worried about how it would
all work with Covid but the nursery have been great and kept us all up to date and put safety measures in place to reduce unnecessary contact.

The staff are so friendly and my son is so happy going to see them all every day. He’s really come out of his shell now and I’m so pleased that this is the nursery we decided to go for. The confidence in my child is sky high now when around other children which is amazing because he was so shy, to begin

My daughter has been going here for nearly 3 years now, everyone has been amazing and been so patient and understanding in the transition from nursery to preschool (not just with her but me as well). My daughter has been with them a year in September I am so happy with the staff. They reassured my daughter and settled her in brilliantly. I’ve watched her grow in confidence with all the activities they do, all staff have a brilliant relationship with her and myself helping and advising me with any

My daughter loves this place. She is upset when she hasn't gone to nursery. All the teacher are very welcoming and brilliant with the kids. The managers are also really good and always helping me if I need advice. They go that extra way to help. Couldn't fault them at all and both of us will miss them
when she leaves to start her new adventure!

My son absolutely loves going to nursery, he missed it a lot during lockdown and when they reopened he was so happy, he missed everyone lots. My twin daughters absolutely love the nursery.
The staff is very friendly, always smiling and welcoming, my daughters settled in very quickly which was really good as we recently moved here.
I highly recommend the nursery, I always found it tidy and clean, safe for my daughters.
I love the app
where can I can see pictures and videos about the activity they’ve done during the day.
Big thank you for all the staff for the love and patience and care they give to my daughters.

Both my children currently attend Tops Havant. The staff are fantastic and are so kind and caring to my children. They are always happy to go to nursery and my eldest always tells me how much fun she has had. They are always making things to bring home and the nursery app is fantastic as the staff regularly
update with what my children have been doing, including photos and videos and what they have eaten each day.
I feel confident that when I am at work my children are in really safe hands and any problems or questions I have they are always there to answer. The manager is absolutely fantastic, helpful and understanding. They adore the member of staff who has looked after both my girls from a young age.
My eldest daughter is so fond of three particular members of staff and always says how she has so much fun with them.
My children have come on leaps and bounds since attending Tops Havant, which a lot is down to the fantastic staff that look after them. Thank you!

Since starting at preschool my son has come on leaps and bounds. He has grown in confidence, learns new things every day and his speech has drastically improved.
He absolutely loves the cooking school he participates in.
I can not fault the staff, I have a daily rundown on everything he has done
each day when I collect him and at times he enjoys himself so much he doesn’t want to come home.
There is always something to get the parents involved with which we enjoy as a family and the updates via the online learning journal are great.

My son likes to go to the nursery. The staff are excellent, they look after the children very well. Overall, space is an issue but it's no different to other nurseries I've seen. Lack of space leads children to bumping into each other as they like to run around. Cooking School is good and Forest School
is a good addition. Frequently closing the back gate is also impacting on us as we use the back garden.
My son will still continue to use the nursery when he starts school this year. Well trained staff and sustainable policies of the nursery are its strength.

Very friendly accommodating staff. Very open, honest and keen to support any issues. My son started showing signs of separation anxiety when dropping him off on the mornings, the staff went out of their way to support both my son and myself through this very difficult time. Not only does my son now
go into pre-school without difficulties he now doesn't want to come home from school.

My little boy has always been shy and nervous of people however since he’s been going to nursery he’s come out of his shell and he’s become confident, very loud haha and very polite. His key person has helped him in so many ways, by supporting him interacting with others.
Honestly, I think it’s one
of the best things I’ve done by putting my little boy in this nursery they are so supportive.
