A lovely nursery surrounded by fields and trees

Situated in a stunning setting with woods and lakes to explore, Chandlers Ford Day Nursery and Preschool is set in a beautiful converted building on the Cranbury Park Estate. The nursery is mindfully designed to support your child’s development from the age of 3 months to 5 years.

The baby room features a milk kitchen, nappy unit and separate sleep area. Toddlers benefit from a large main room, creative room and dedicated potty training area. Older children can enjoy a wide range of educational resources indoors, as well as freeflow access to the spacious gardens.

An enriching Ready for School programme gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.

Outside, each age group has access to a large AstroTurf area and age-specific resources. Babies have a separate garden to ensure their outdoor safety, while the mud kitchen, balancing equipment, bikes and more allow older children to enrich their physical development and imagination.

The staff take every opportunity to go on walks in the countryside that surround the nursery. Exploring the woods and seeing the lakes and nearby horses are all regular experiences at the nursery in Chandler’s Ford. Children also enjoy trips in the nurseries minibus to local libraries and garden centres, encouraging them to feel confident in new surroundings in the community.

The day is full of activities and staff are lovely and friendly which makes it a very pleasant experience. It took my daughter very little time to get used to the nursery which is brilliant!
The quality of care is generally very good.

Bright Horizons Chandlers Ford Day Nursery and Preschool is the best nursery!
The communication from staff to parents through the app is always thorough and updated regularly about nursery life. The updates at the end of the day about what they have done throughout their day is also very detailed.
The staff support and encourage the children extremely well. My child has gone from shy to confident and is thriving! It amazes me the knowledge that he comes home with after a day there. From the rooms to the staff, facilities, toys and food, I cannot recommend it enough!

Both our children go to the nursery and we have had a wonderful experience. There is a real family feel to the rooms and the nursery as a whole. You and the children get a really personal service. All the staff really know your children and quickly form a supportive bond. They really care about their
happiness and development, celebrate the successes and support through the tricky stages. Even the chef gets involved and not only cooks them great food but somehow knows all the children! It is brilliant when they come home with new words, skills and knowledge. Knowing the activity plans and then seeing the feedback on the app really let you connect to their day. If you want confident, happy kids who sleep well after all the running around then this is the place.

The nursery staff go above and beyond every day to make sure my son has the best time during his sessions. He has come on leaps and bounds with his speech, he loves playing with his friends and he has learnt new signs to help with communicating. They always get outside to play or walk around the surrounding
area, he just loves it so much!

My little one loves it here. From day one both parents felt she was safe and cared for, since then it has only gotten better. It has a warm and friendly atmosphere, with the child's interest at heart always. My little girl has started eating better since being here and is always so happy to be playing
here (especially in the sand and garden). This nursery has great communication with parents and it feels everyone is so connected. We cannot fault it.

We absolutely love everything about Bright Horizons Chandlers Ford. Beautiful location with the paddocks surrounding it, staff are fabulous and go above and beyond. The chef makes amazing meals, the place always smells fabulous. Both my boys are excited to come in, in the morning.

My 18-month-old has been enrolled here for three months and suffice to say he is absolutely thriving. He has come on leaps and bounds with his confidence, ability to play with other children and his vocabulary has really soared. He loves his key worker and all staff members, often spending the weekends
telling me all of their names and he looks forward to his nursery days. The app is fantastic and updated regularly, staff are amazing and quick to call me with any questions and the setting itself is beautifully maintained - always very clean and tidy whilst allowing the children to make the most of the outdoor space and really use their creativity in play. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that my son will continue to thrive here, hands down the best nursery in the area.

Our little boy loves this preschool. The staff were amazing when he first started with him, taking some time to settle in, they really took the time with him to help him feel comfortable and safe, the app is updated daily, which is great and observations are made here too, which is nice to see what
he has been doing. The setting is lovely, and all the staff are so lovely too. I would highly recommend Brighton Horizons Chandlers Ford.

A fabulous nursery in an idyllic location surrounded by fields, a paddock and trees. The refurb completed a couple of years ago brought the setting up to date with natural decor, taking inspiration from the surroundings. The staff have been there for a while, which solidifies relationships with the
children, creating security, stability and continuity. The strong leadership has created a strong team, leading with care and compassion. The room staff are enthusiastic, happy and always greet the children with smiles and hugs. My son’s key people have been brilliant with his medical blips, ensuring he has his medication on time. The meals are home-cooked, varied and balanced. My son’s emotional, physical and well-being are paramount. The preschool room is bright, airy and welcoming. There are always activities out and forest school is a big plus! Staff encourage independence and friendships. I am confident that my son has had the best start to his education at Bright Horizons Chandlers Ford.

Our daughter has attended this nursery since she was 10 months old and is now in preschool. She is always happy to go in and always seems to enjoy her days there. The staff are friendly, professional and always update on how our daughter's day has been and the learning activities that she has taken
part in. We recently started toilet training and the staff have been brilliant at assisting her during this journey. We are very happy with this nursery.

My baby started nursery in February this year. He is currently in the babies room and loves being there. The two ladies are amazing, as are all of the other staff members that we have met.
The food is great, he always seems to finish his meals. They do lots of activities and learn so much!

The manager and the team have all been great since my son started here and he really enjoys his days at nursery. The team are all so good with him and his communication skills have come on leaps and bounds, the variety of food is amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I began my journey in the Early Years of 2008, which is when I qualified with my level 3 diploma in early years. I have 14 years of experience in Childcare, and I am also a mummy to 2 amazing children of my own. In 2017 I graduated from the Open University with my Foundation Degree in my Early Years. I am excited to be here at Chandlers Ford to support the team and families in this beautiful setting.


I am passionate about supporting other practitioners to be able to reflect on their own practice, to empower them to be their best selves. This in turn helps the nursery to grow and thrive and ensures the best quality care for your children.


I started at Bright Horizons in October 2022 and I am really excited to bring a wealth of knowledge with me to support this growing nursery going forward. I have a love for outdoor play and learning and Chandler's Ford has beautiful grounds for us to really expand on this. I look forward to working closely with the families of Chandlers Ford.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Lizzy has over 16 years of childcare experience and a mother to two young children. She completed her CACHE Level 3 in Childcare in 2013 after gaining experience through various placements in schools and nursery settings. After further developing her expertise for several years, she went on to complete and achieve a First-Class BA Honours Degree in Childcare and Education Level 6 in 2017.


With over 16 years of continuous service at Bright Horizons, she has had the opportunity to work with many outstanding nurseries in the local area. She loves working at Chandlers Ford as Deputy, supporting Kirsty and the team in guiding every child and family through their early years journey.


She is deeply passionate about providing a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where every child can explore, learn, and reach their full potential. She also has a strong passion for outdoor learning and Forest School, offering children the opportunity to learn through firsthand experiences in natural environments. Always ready for adventure, she is the first to put on waterproofs and wellies to explore! One of the aspects she loves most about Chandlers Ford Nursery is its beautiful grounds, including the woodland and the scenic walks into Cranbury Park.
