My children do/did enjoy going to Explorers Nursery. The staff are friendly and helpful. I do sometimes feel that due to the numbers of children at the nursery, the children don't focus as perhaps they should. Sometimes drop off's can be hectic and on occasion, there hasn't been enough staff to cover
this. The food is excellent and I thank the chefs for encouraging my daughter to try different foods. The garden equipment/space is excellent.

After almost a year of being on the waiting list, we were not disappointed! My son joined the baby room at 1 year 3 months and knowing he was well cared for, stimulated and socialising with other babies, helped me fell less anxious about returning to work. All of the staff are friendly, working in the
best interests of the children and are able to build special relationships with the children. My son has progressed to toddlers and is provided with engaging activities to keep busy and learning. Explorers offer an excellent settling-in programme and their food is delicious - all home cooked. My son usually eats everything - a testament to the tasty, well-balanced meals and snacks. The manager has been particularly supportive during some difficult persona; times. I would not hesitate recommending Explorers - my son loves it!

Explorers has spacious, bright and airy rooms with a wide variety of things to do. My son particularly likes the role play areas and the enormous garden.
My son has formed close attachments to the staff and some other children at the nursery and is always keen to show the staff new things that he's
learnt.
There is regular feedback through the Tapestry app and at handover times. There are some great activities for the children to learn from, particularly the science experiments and sensory areas.
Overall, me and my son love this nursery and would be happy to recommend it to friends.

The nursery is very friendly and kind. Couldn't fault them at all. My daughter loves all the staff and children. They are made to feel very welcome.

I can't recommend Explorers more! The actual nursery is clean and modern. The staff are all very friendly and care a lot for all the children. The food smells amazing and all dietary requirements are well catered for. The staff are very good with all the children and show a real interest in helping
them grow and develop. They are extremely supportive and my daughter absolutely loves it there.

We are so pleased with the level of care both of our children have had at Explorers. Every child is recognised as an individual and they are made to feel so special, this even goes as far as the ladies in the kitchen. The outside environment is such a large space that enables the children to explore
a wide range of toys and experiences. Our little ones love being outside and this was a big draw to the setting for us. We have been very lucky with all our children's keyworkers. They understand them and know their characteristics so well, planning to their interests.
The management team have a secure knowledge of what is happening and will always be on hand if you have a question. I really love the fact they know the children's' names, likes and qualities. Thank you.

When my daughter first arrived she was painfully shy and reserved. With the support and encouragement of all the staff, she has transformed into an outgoing, chatty and playful little girl. Her self-confidence has grown immensely. She has learnt so much, including how to interact with others, manners
and sharing. Thank you to all the staff.

Our daughter has been going to Explorers Day Nursery for 11 months now and really enjoys it! The staff always have smiles on their faces, even after a long noisy day. They are also very happy to help advise and give tips on any issues that might be happening at home i.e not sleeping through the night.
The food smells tasty every morning when I drop our daughter off and makes me disappointed with my sandwich! Every day she seems to have learnt something new and has started singing songs in the car on the way home that I do not know... I definitely think that her development would not be as advanced if she didn't go to nursery and feel that this nursery, in particular, have helped her to be like this. The key worker works on specific areas with her and I am regularly asked if there is anything I would like to add to her development. I would definitely recommend Explorers Day Nursery and I regularly do! Thank you all for doing such a wonderful job with our daughter.

My daughter has attended Explorers since she was 10 months old. Her development has come on in leaps and bounds, partly due to the help and encouragement from the nursery. The atmosphere is friendly and family like, I particularly like the fact my child knows all the staff in every room, who are so
friendly, doing everything possible to make my daughter happy. She does have mornings when all she wants is me leaving me in tears but I always leave confident she is getting the best care and love she would at home,often with a hug from the ladies in the office!


My daughter suffers from bad eczema; the care given to alleviate this is second to none. An egg allergy makes it worse and the kitchen team have been fantastic in providing an egg free diet. The support during this period for me was excellent;everybody genuinely cares.


I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery as from every aspect it is great; the garden, activities and so much more!

There is a lovely, warm, friendly and calm atmosphere when dropping off my daughters at the nursery. This is great to see. The baby room practitioners have made my younger daughters transition into nursery very smooth and she appears happy and content. The toddler room always has a "buzz" and our elder
daughter likes it so much that her favourite game at home is to "play nursery". The food is fresh, nutritious and smells fab in the mornings.

There is always a smile and warm welcome in the morning and a great handover by the excellent staff in the evening. All aspects of the nursery are excellent, including the vast garden space, activities, learning and planning, room space and catering. Staff are always friendly, caring and very professional.
I am happy leaving both of my children here knowing they will be very well cared for and looked after. I would definitely recommend Explorers Day Nursery due to my children's growth and our fantastic experience here. Thank you.

I couldn't rate my experience of Explorers highly enough! Throughout the 13 months that my child has attended Explorers, she has blossomed and this is in part thanks to the support, guidance and care provided by the staff. I knew Explorers was the right nursery for my child after a brief visit where
I was shown the baby & toddler rooms and introduced to the staff. The nursery itself is well planned out; it's clean, spacious and all on one level (very child-friendly/safe compared to others I had visited which were on 2 floors and depended on stair gates etc. to keep children safe). Teething problems experienced with getting my child to settle, especially when dropping off, were quickly identified. We were invited to meet with staff who helped us come up with ways to make the drop off less stressful for my child and these were very effective, very quickly. 13 months later my child loves her time at nursery and enjoys telling me about the activities she does, many of which we never do at home!
