My child has had a wonderful experience at Highbury Lodge.
The staff are so warm and friendly and put time into developing relationships with the children and parents too.
My child has developed perfectly and is now ready, able and well equipped to take on the whole new world of school.

Our daughter attended Highbury Lodge for 4 years and absolutely loved it.
The staff have been fantastic helping her to settle and grow in confidence over the years. Preschool has helped her to prepare for school both emotionally and academically. Thank you all so much.

Having to work full-time meant choosing a nursery where we felt confident that our son would be well cared for and nurtured every step of the way and at Highbury Lodge Day Nursery we really feel that he receives this.
The staff are really caring and go out of their way to tell you small but important
snippets of information about their child's day. Our son enjoys attending and has learnt lots of important life skills already.

Our daughter (15 months) loves her time here. The nursery staff are always friendly and happy to discuss what they have been doing and how our daughter is developing.
The food served seems great and varied.
The office staff are really helpful in the admin side.

Highbury Lodge is a brilliant nursery. From day one all members of staff have been welcoming and played a vital role in settling my son who can, on occasions, be upset.


I have noticed a real change in him with his social skills and have noticed his speech developing more.

My daughter has recently started at the nursery. She was welcomed very warmly by the staff. The staff has been very welcoming and helpful to us as parents as well.

All staff are really friendly, make a massive effort to really get to know all the kids and provide a nurturing environment. The facilities are reasonably good although rooms can be hot in summer (I believe aircon is being installed for next year).

Thank you for your review, we appreciate your feedback. Regarding rooms being warm during the extremely hot June we had, we have in place mobile air conditioning units throughout the nursery which we have found effective during the warmer months. We are involved in a role out program to receive commercial air conditioning units.

Our boy started at Highbury Lodge full time from 15 months old until he was almost 5 as he started school. It's a difficult thing as a mum leaving your baby with other people, but I really felt he was in a place that felt like 'home from home'. The effort that goes into making it a fun, inspiring and
creative environment by the staff is just great. The extra mile the staff personally go to contribute to each day is also worth mentioning. Bringing in activities from home they have come up with. They really do have love and care for the children. And they will constantly take on any questions/concerns/challenges you might be having with your child. They did activities I would never have thought of if I was at home with him every day, and he has learnt and been inspired a lot. And there is a lot to say about the importance of building little buddies at a young age for social ability and confidence. A huge thank you to all the staff, and a few in particular that were his key workers.

I was so impressed that Bumblebees room followed my daughter's interest of the story about driving my tractor.
They built a tractor and had an excellent mini farm.
All the children helped paint the tractor. Also, the activities around it were brilliant. The staff have really listened to what the children
love.

We have been very pleased with the nursery. Our son took a good few weeks to settle when he first started, and all the staff were very kind and patient. He now loves attending the nursery and rushes through the door.
The staff are also very good at feeding back when I collect him, about what he has
been up to during the session.
Overall the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming and we are very pleased with our choice to send our son to this nursery

My son started at Highbury Lodge in August this year and he has settled in extremely well due to the help and guidance from the superb staff. He has a visual impairment and so initially, I was apprehensive about how he would cope, but he has been very well supported both internally by his key person
and externally by his visual impairment teacher. They have worked together to ensure that my son achieves all he can.
