Cherry Tree Bilingual Day Nursery - English-Spanish is for all children and all parents who believe in early learning and having the best possible head start in life.

The nursery is greatly influenced by the work of psychologists such as Montessori, Piaget and Konrad Lorenz who believed most children are born with tremendous powers and sensitive periods for learning. These periods from birth to five years are vital and crucial to the child’s whole future.

Second language learning (Spanish) is introduced during the children's daily routine in a fun way by in-house native Spanish teachers. Children are greeted in Spanish (hola, Buenos dias, como estas?) and asked during the day at meals times if they would like milk or juice (Leche, or Zumo) for breakfast. Children sing nursery rhymes and learn parts of the body, days of the week, months of the year and the colours in Spanish.

Staff have on-going training and a key worker system is in place to make sure parents get regular feedback and that each individual child has their development prioritised.

Children enjoy fun sessions of Spanish language and can benefit from access to a large garden, farm animals plus musical activities with guitar, piano, saxophone and percussion.

I am extremely happy with the way everyone at Cherry Tree Bilingual Day Nursery has helped to settle my daughter in. She obviously enjoys all the varied activities. It is a lovely homely place with lots of facilities and the staff are really friendly and caring.

My son has been going to this nursery since February this year. All the staff has been wonderful and are always welcoming. They are very supportive, extremely helpful and approachable and have always been willing to discuss any concerns in a kind, caring manner.
I am very pleased to leave my son at
this nursery. They show a genuine interest in our son's development. The extra activities are great too e.g Spanish classes, feeding the chickens, ducks and rabbit.
Overall it is a great nursery with diversity and devotion in a child's development.

My daughter settled into Cherry Trees so quickly. All the staff work so hard to work with every child's needs. My daughter comes home with a big smile and tells me about all she has done that day. I have noticed such a massive change in my daughters development. she has learnt so much in the time she
has been here. I couldn't recommend Cherry Tree highly enough!

My child is happy and is showing consistent improvement. She went for a taste session in one of the the local schools and I was pleasantly surprised to see that she found it easy to settle down and was very much at par (in someways advanced) with her peers.

My son started going to nursery in July. The staff are really friendly and helped him to settle so quickly. They made him feel very welcome. I think the nursery has such a good set up and they have so many gardens for different play and lots of animals too, which I think is a great idea as it teaches
the children how to care for animals ie. food, water, etc. I am very happy with our experience so far and the staff are all professional. I would recommend this nursery.

My son started attending Cherry Tree at around 16 months old when I needed to return to work. I was anxious, of course, about leaving him but it had to be done. After looking at many in the area I decided to choose Cherry Tree. This was for many reasons but mainly when I met the manager and his Key
worker they seemed very genuine and honestly looking forward to possibly welcoming my son. The cost was the most reasonable locally and being a language teacher I am always thrilled at language learning opportunities in young children as I know that there is usually such a positive effect on any type of immersion. My son settled in reasonably quickly and each time I collect him he is happily playing and interacting with staff and children. I love the fact that it is small and thus able to feel more personal. Staff are working very hard to provide children and parents with everything possible and I am happy to receive suggestions in order to improve. Thank you for continuing to care for my son.

Cherry Tree is such a fantastic nursery, my son has only been there for a short period but he gained so much already, he loves going end enjoys seeing the staff and other children. He knows his numbers and is beginning to identify his colours, his speech is also coming along nicely. He also has a great
amount to tell me when I collect him. The staff have been extremely supportive and helped him settle in, he looks forward to going and seeing the varied animals and always enjoys the meals and tasks set for him.

I highly recommend Cherry Tree to any parent because;
1) The staff are highly trained, very caring and professional.

The nursery is always welcoming, friendly and caring. The staff are loving as well as being professional, they teach the children to share, be polite, have good manners and enjoy all their varied lessons. An excellent start to their lives. The children learn to be independent and confident individuals
who respect and care for others as well as themselves. They always look forward to nursery. They are also learning another language! Fantastic!

I would like to recommend the Nursery teaching team that teaches my daughter. She can now count to 100, she can spell her name, knows colours, shapes numbers, she can say days of the week and the months of the year. The staff are very kind caring and very professional. I am a full time working mum and
I don't worry about my daughter when she is under the care of this team. I have seen her confidence grow and all this is because of this brilliant nursery. They have done most of the job for me!

My son has been to nursery previous to Cherry Tree, and was never as happy as he is now he is at Cherry Tree. He comes home with a smile on his face, trying to explain what he did that day and the food he ate. I've noticed the difference in his learning, everyday he surprises me with new things he has
learnt.
All the staff are wonderful and they send you a text to let you know how they are doing, especially if he is a bit under the weather. It's reassuring to know as he is there all day. I would recommend Cherry Tree and wouldn't think twice. It's a nice feeling knowing your child is in good hands, whilst you are away not with them all day.

From not only a mother's point of view, but also as a qualified early years practitioner, this nursery is the ideal setting for a warm, caring and nurturing environment. This spans from the obvious love and care that is built into the foundation of Cherry Tree. My daughter has blossomed throughout her

Our daughter is very happy at Cherry Tree. Even when she is upset in the morning because she doesn't want us to leave. The Manager gives her a balloon and she completely forgets she was upset. It's very reassuring that they send us messages throughout the day to gives us updates on how she is. We love

Excellent nursery - I have used 2 nurseries before for my other children. This is by far the best nursery. Children's development is tailored on individual needs. There is friendly staff and support for parents is available. Caring staff. I would recommend the nursery to anyone. Excellent management.

For many years I have been hoping to find a superman to join me in this beautiful field of education and childcare.


After many years of searching and beginning to think that Mr Right did not exist, I found him miles away in another country, another continent that day I saw him stars and lights engulfed his face.


We immediately new that we were made for each other. After knowing each other for three weeks we married and then realised we were sole mates.


Cherry Tree Bilingual Nursery became more like a second home to our children homely, full of joy, love and care. Where our children learn to love nature by looking after and caring towards our pets, garden and vegetable patch.
