River View Day Nursery, Hertford, is a secure and homely childcare facility where the learning and care opportunities for each and every child are as extraordinary as the nursery team who provide them.

The setting is registered with Ofsted to welcome up to 95 children and employs a team of qualified professionals who can offer parents the high standards of service they deserve, as well as a learning programme up-to-date with the goals of the Early Years Learning Foundation.

The nursery teaches children to care about the world they live in and has achieved a Green Flag Eco Schools Award.

Mini Athletics is an extra-curricular activity that is held every Friday.

I can't speak highly enough of this nursery. Every member of staff is friendly and welcoming - clearly demonstrating they care for your child. O can leave my child knowing they are well loved and cared for in a stimulating and caring environment.

We can't explain how wonderful the staff at Rivermead have been and how much trust we have in them. They are caring and gentle with our children and always professional and friendly with us all. They have supported us through the loss of one of our children with kindness and have supported the dual
nationality of our children too. We are very sad to leave Rivermead and move to another country and I doubt we will ever find another nursery to meet their high standards.

Harry is very happy at River View Day Nursery. The staff are wonderful and look after my son so well while he's here. The variety of activities on offer is great and he loves playing with all the different toys in his room. The staff are passionate about his development which is very reassuring as a

River View Day Nursery has been so welcoming. My son enjoys his days here and all the activities each day. The staff are wonderful and friendly - it's joyful to see my child do comfortable and happy each day, even when changing rooms. I would 1005 recommend River View, its facilities and staff.

River View is like a home from home for our daughter, she loves every day, and that is in a huge part down to the excellent staff who have become like family to her and us. Natasha Boon

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Joined: 2005

Natasha is the Manager of River View Day Nursery in Hertford and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector for 17 years. Natasha is Level 3 qualified in the Early Years. Natasha has been with Childbase Partnership for a total of 13 years.


What is your favourite feature of River View?
My favourite feature of our nursery is our garden. We have a lovely open space split into three sections for each age group and set out with those ages in mind. We have been growing our own fruits and vegetables in our allotment and it also invites bees and butterflies to our garden.


What are you most proud of about your team/nursery?
I am most proud of how welcoming our setting and team are. Every time we have visitors they always comment on how all of the team will say hello and welcome them into the nursery with a smile. This also means we have a lot of long-standing staff in our setting.
