Our son has attended Fledglings since 2017 and is coming to the end of his time there. We could not have asked for a better or more positive nursery experience for him. He has been nurtured and cared for by all the staff. Individual needs have been met as needed and as a family, have felt supported
by the nursery. His learning experience has been vast from first words through to learning French.
He has been challenged when needed and achieved so much, engaging well and becoming a very sociable, caring, independent and curious 3 year old.

We are really impressed with the range and quality of activities planned for the children each day. The staff are all brilliant and show a consistent level of care and knowledge of the children. It is really nice to see the nursery Manager greet the children by name most mornings and If not, her deputy.
The handover sheet is very detailed and whilst I am sure my child plays/interacts with all the activities throughout the day, it would be nice/useful to know one or two things they have shown real interest in/learning in the day so that we can talk about it at home and continue to build on it and know new things we have missed.

In the baby room, my child was very happy and I felt that all of the staff related well to their needs and showed a good understanding of my child. The key workers monitor the children's development well and have an informative end of day hand over to parents. Think the lunch options are really good,
but not so happy with the teas, sandwiches/sausage rolls/beans etc rather than the Baked Potato type meals we thought were going to be provided.

Both of our children have thoroughly enjoyed and flourished during their time at Fledglings. Strong care and support from the established staff - often retaining staff for many years, staff listen and address feedback or issues promptly and enhancements to the nursery are constantly reviewed to ensure
the nursery offers the optimum experience to their children e.g. recent levelling and Astroturf in the garden.

Whilst our child found it hard moving to a new nursery following our house move, Fledglings did everything they could to settle him in. It took a few weeks but ultimately our son is as keen to go as he was at his previous nursery.
The facilities and cleanliness of the nursery are very good and staff
are professional and courteous. I feel comfortable knowing that we are leaving our precious son is capable hands and a safe environment.

A great nursery! Our daughter is very happy at Fledglings Nursery. The staff are very caring and professional. They are friendly and welcoming. The nursery has great facilities and organises a lot of activities for the children.

So happy with everyone at Fledglings Nursery. My daughter took a long time to settle and everyone was so patient and so understanding. I always felt like they really cared and that they took special interest in helping. Now my daughter is so happy there and she asks to go even when it is her day off!
She is so happy there and has so much fun.

Our two boys started at Fledglings as babies and have really thrived there. Our oldest in particular is always excited to start his day there. With lots of activities and playtime to keep them occupied, we get a big pile of artwork to take home each month, so they are very creative. There is always
ample opportunity to play outside and it's lovely in the summer when you tend to pick them up directly from the outside play area, the children are always having such fun and we get a glimpse of their playtime before they see us.
The food is good and varied, and the boys seem to be less fussy at nursery than they are at home.
I always enjoy reading through the record of their learning and activities, it is such a nice reminder of how they have progressed over the months.

The staff at Fledglings are kind and caring and put the child's needs first. Both of my children have excelled at this nursery and are extremely fond of the staff. The facilities are very good, as are the grounds.

I’ve had two boys here from babies. It's a lovely nursery, with a nurturing and caring environment. The outdoor space is amazing, including an outdoor classroom, simply ideal for our lively boys. They play outside several times a day and go for walks and picnics in the surrounding parkland in good
weather. Indoor areas are spacious and airy, and children do a wide range of activities, including a weekly Hartbeeps class.
There are regular improvements, most recently new flooring inside and new grass in the garden. All-inclusive fees – nappies, wipes, meals and activities, really take away the hassle for busy parents. Food is varied and high quality, including organic meat, and this helped our boys be adventurous eaters. The staff are lovely and foster a calm but busy atmosphere. Parents evenings keep us updated and key workers lovingly prepare development books which have provided us with a lasting record of precious moments. Management runs a tight ship but have always accommodated reasonable requests.

My son changed nursery at the beginning of the year 2016 and it was the best decision I could have made. The staff are fantastic and really care for the children. Every day is packed full of activities and it's clear every one works so hard to ensure each day is educational but for them and more importantly
lots of fun. He comes home so excited from his day and knowing he will have a good day makes having to leave him a lot easier.
He adores all the staff and will talk about them at home and what he's been doing so that really shows how happy he is.
You get a really clear detailed description of the day and communication is easy and friendly with the staff.
If you are looking at finding a placement I couldn't recommend more and encourage you to view and you will not be disappointed.

My son has been at Fledglings for 2.5 years. He has learnt so much during his time and always comes home singing a new song or telling us about something he's been taught. He has always been very happy and secure there and runs in without looking back. It's a well organised, friendly and happy environment.
