Adeyfield was the first Flower Pots Nursery, opened in 2006. With a capacity of 94 children across 5 rooms, the setting boasts large indoor play spaces as well as a communal garden with artificial grass for the children to access during all weathers.
The garden has a 'Flower Pots Village' with individual cabins that staff decorate to provide provocations for play and learning, and there is a range of climbing apparatus, bicycles and other garden toys for the children to access.
The baby room has its own separated play area outdoors so that the children can free-flow in and out of the room at their leisure and explore the garden at their own pace away from the hustle and bustle of the older children.

There are 4 spectacular rooms in the Main Building- all of which have been freshly renovated in 2025. With a fresh and neutral background, Flower Pots allow the children to be the focus of the environment. Children's colourful artwork adorns the displays and the equipment and resources are centre stage and ready to be played with. The Office is in the front entrance so the Management team is accessible at any time of day, and parents are invited in for regular Stay & Play sessions to see the children in action, chat to the friendly team and get a feel for what the nursery is about here at Flower Pots.

To the rear of the main building, there is a purpose-built Classroom unit with a separate gated entrance. Children move over to Classroom in their final year before school and this separation from the Main Building is a fantastic mini-transition before their bigger transition into school. The Classroom children are learning about what will be expected of them when they leave for school, and spend the year being equipped with the skills and knowledge to give them the best start in Reception.

Flowerpots in Adeyfield has been such a welcoming and lovely place. Our child has thrived there. She's learnt so many social skills, routines and had fun with friends (and eaten a great range of food). The staff are really sweet and kind and put so much hard work in to make the nursery a vibrant fun
place for the children. We have been with them for 2.5 years now and we're confident our daughter will be school ready when she leaves Flowerpots.

This is my 2nd child to attend the nursery, I see incredible care and dedication by the nursery team. The nurturing environment is evident in how happy my children are/were when they leave the nursery each day. It's wonderful to see the staff's patience, creativity, and warmth in action, they make sure
my child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to explore. The engaging activities and thoughtful learning experiences are helping/have helped both my children develop vital skills while having fun. Exceptionally noticeable in the Classroom with my 1st child that attended; the change in her was incredible and I look forward to my 2nd child hopefully experiencing the same. I receive regular updates abut their daily activities, members of the team take time to talk to me if I have concerns or question about my children, they know my children's quirks, likes & dislikes which makes it home from home.

Absolutely fantastic place for my daughter to attend, to learn, grow and develop. She has been here nearly 2 years and the staff are so friendly and nice. My daughter has now started to recognised names of staff/teachers/helpers and gets excited. That's down to the love, care and attention from the
staff shown to my daughter. Top place for your child to attend.

An absolutely amazing nursery team. Our child always comes home with new words and tricks and surprises us with what he has learned that day. The activities the children do are so creative and messy and educational. The children at this nursery are so looked after, the team are all lovely and really
care, remembering every important thing even when it must be chaos some days. I'm extremely happy with Flower Pots Adeyfield.

An absolutely amazing nursery!
My daughter has struggled in previous nurseries, and joining Flower Pots has already been a great start.
Very warm and welcoming team. The nursery alone is fantastic and has a lovely atmosphere.

Many shortfalls from this nursery over the last 18 months. To summarise, I'll bullet point issues below:
- sending children home in wet clothes.
- giving a child another child's medication.
- announcing that they believe my child has autism at the end of a setting around other parents when not qualified
to do so nor in an appropriate manner.
- very high staff turnover and lack of resource (questionable whether the regulation ratios are adhered to).
- a child with developmental needs attends and the nursery has zero experience and constant delays in fulfilling their obligatory actions with assessments, SENCO actions, or reporting back.
- internal communication is very poor - additional information shared from parents from a private speech therapist and local authority for child with additional needs and staff are completely unaware over a 6-week period when questioned.
- had to resubmit 30-hour funding forms on 3 separate occasions as they kept losing paperwork.

Our daughter has been at Flower Pots Day Nursery since 9 months old. She’s now due to leave in a few weeks from the classroom. She has learnt so much from being at nursery she amazes us every day. We want to say a really big thanks to all the staff especially the classroom as she has really come out
of her shell. We would recommend Flower Pots to everyone. Thank you so much for the past 4 years!

My daughter is in the classroom and they have been absolutely amazing with her! As a first time mum I was so worried to send her to nursery and worried if they would do a good job. But Flower Pots Day Nursery Adeyfield have been the best ever. Her teacher is an absolute amazing teacher. Her T.A's were
also the best ever! Honestly, if I could I would leave her there 24/7 and not worry. We are going to absolutely miss them xxxx

Excellent nursery. I highly recommend this nursery to other parents. The facilities are excellent, the garden is great and my child loves playing outside. Staff are lovely and really care about your child. You get regular feedback and detailed daily reports and the staff are genuinely interested what
your child does outside the nursery like going to a farm or Zoo. Activities are varied and there is a good variety of food. The nursery is very organised and requests such as giving my child medicine were no problem and all the necessary forms etc were completed. My child despite being very clingy to me loves going to nursery and I think that’s done to the lovely atmosphere at the nursery.

I was so apprehensive of my son (12 months old) starting nursery as he was so attached (well, so I thought) but he started at the nursery and after a few days of settling he has more than settled. He enjoys going to nursery so much so that he presses the bell himself and as soon as he sees the staff
member he puts his arms out.
The baby room staff and managers are attentive and the activities they do with the children during the day have really built my son’s confidence.

My daughter has been attending flowerpots for nearly a year now and has flourished in many ways since attending - her confidence and physical ability, are just two of the progressive improvements. There have been some teething issues which have not affected my daughter's happiness and overall development

My 14-month-old boy attends this nursery. He starts early at 7.30am and has his breakfast with them. He absolutely loves nursery and doesn’t want to leave in the late evenings. The staff are ever so polite and caring, both towards our son and us as parents. We have daily updates and pictures via the
app, which keeps us in the loop and to carry on similar activities at home. The baby room team are fantastic and listen intently to any problem. They have helped us when our boy has need extra naps and help with soothing him through the tooth thing stage. They have helped him to enjoy his food and to help ween him off of his milk! They have a lovely garden for the tots to also toddle about in - absolutely gorgeous! Very well managed and very clean! Would highly recommend!

Our Daughter loves going to Flower Pots Day Nursery, Adeyfieldand you can see from the pictures they share directly that she is having a wonderful time every day. There's always plenty to do, all age appropriate and help with their development in a fun way. Activities vary from day to day so they don't
get bored and can be one to one or as a group. The team are amazing, they listen to us if we'd like to change something and they're great at giving us feedback too. The food they're given every day is healthy and wholesome so I know she's getting a balanced diet when not at home. I couldn't have wished for a better place to send my daughter, I feel happy knowing that she's safe, supported and having a great day every day.

I would recommend Flower Pots Day Nursery to any family who is looking for childcare. I looked at 8 nurseries in the area and Flower Pots was my final one. Within minutes of being in the setting, I knew that Flower Pots was the one - the room was amazing but what I really noticed was how engaged and
lovely the staff were. My little boy started at only 3 months old and I was so anxious to leave him however the staff did everything to make sure both he and I settled in well and 8 months later he is absolutely thriving! The staff are friendly and approachable.


I love that you are always met with a smiley face both morning and afternoon. The regular posts on the tapestry are just amazing and we love seeing what he is getting up to. My little boy is so confident in group situations and loves interacting with others and I truly believe that is down to Flower Pots and their amazing team. Recently, we have attended parents evenings and stay and play sessions which were so lovely!

My daughter started nursery back in April and like all parents (more so as a 1st-time mum) I had a number of questions and worries


All staff at Flower Pots Adeyfield have been very helpful and understanding. They have supported my daughter to settle and tailored their care to her needs and our parenting

values. As a result, we are very happy as a family and helped me a lot to settle back into work knowing she is very happy.


The communication is very good overall
Highly recommended

Amazing nursery and staff, cannot fault them at all. My son joined in September as he was a complete Covid baby. He was scared of people due to the pandemic and to build his social skills I thought nursery would be great. Again, so many nurseries to choose from and I was recommended this nursery by
3 other parents, and I’m so glad I went with this one.


After 2 months, my son was a completely different child and has no problem socialising with anyone now (even out and about he’s talking and blowing kisses to strangers, whereas before someone could look at him and he would have a meltdown). The team do such an amazing job, they also helped him with eating, talking and more. My son absolutely loves it there so much that we added extra hours for him. I would definitely recommend this nursery!

The staff at Flower Pots Day nursery made myself and my son feel welcome from the moment we stepped through the door on our first visit. Everyone who works there is lovely and is there for the well-being of the children. My son absolutely loved his time there and really misses all the staff and friends

Our son has recently left Flower Pots Day Nursery to start school in September and he had a lovely time whilst there from 9 months old. The staff were very supportive with our son and helped me get the right support from the local authorities over his development delay. They worked tirelessly to help
him during his time there and kept me well informed of his day to day life and fantastic achievements! There are lots of fun activities and a great garden, it’s a very clean spacious environment and our son loved the freshly cooked food provided. I would recommend this place to anyone and I will miss the staff very much!
