My son started at Hitchin when he was six months old. The staff in Otters made us feel very welcome and reassured me during the settling process, as I was quite nervous about leaving him so young.
Safe to say, I had nothing to worry about. He settled so quickly and loves going every week. All the
staff are friendly and welcoming. It’s lovely to get updates and pictures throughout the day so we can see what he has been up to.

I would recommend Hitchin Kiddi Caru. The nursery and management have really tried to assist my son’s needs since he’s been referred for an autism assessment. They have called in health visitors and support staff to assist with how to cope with his changing and challenging needs. They have kept me up
to date with his developments.

It's lovely to see my little one growing in confidence in the soft play area, supported by the staff. When I collected her the other day she was so pleased to be at the top! When I drop her off she is happy to go to her keyworker and all the staff are caring. I love the variety of activities they do.

Fantastic nursery with kind and caring staff. My daughter goes into class happily each morning, and her learning has come on loads since being at Kiddi Caru. I love that they spend as much time outside as possible, and on rainy days, they have their new soft play barn to keep them active. Thoroughly

My daughter only started attending in September. It took her a couple of weeks to settle, but she now loves being there. All the staff are friendly and welcoming and seem to really enjoy having my little one there.
The only reservations I’ve had, are that the delay with funding meant I was being 'chased'
for payment from the nursery via message, or over the phone. I understand this is policy and no fault to the nursery staff directly. Despite having open communication around this, it did leave me feeling uncomfortable on drop offs and pick ups.

My child is always happy to go to nursery, which speaks volumes (and helps with the mum guilt). The staff are personable and I feel they know my child well. I can see the progress he has made in the few months he has been there; definitely a home from home.

Our son joined the Squirrels room in Hitchin in May 2023. We’re very happy with our experience and have found the staff to be professional and caring. He took a while to settle in, but now enjoys going to nursery and looks forward to the activities. The app is excellent for keeping up to date with what
he’s doing and allows for smooth communication between the parents and nursery. The new soft play space is amazing!

Both of my children have attended Kiddi Caru. We have been very happy with the nursery. I have found the staff to be caring and attentive and the children have both thrived here. They have also worked hard to make positive changes to the nursery.

This nursery has been nothing but helpful to us, as new parents. From the worry of a breastfeeding baby that doesn’t nap very well, to the care taken towards our little girl to date.
I had such worries about the transition as a BF mum but they talked me through it all and made the transition much easier.
(It was fine!) The staff are great and our little girl loves going to nursery every day. The additional soft play barn is an incredible feature, another fave for our little girl.
Well done, team. Thank you for looking after our little girl with such care.
Any new parents, definitely consider this nursery!

My child has been at Kiddi Caru since they were 8 months old. They are now nearly 3 and have a lovely relationship with all the staff. They are happy playing and learning and look forward to going each week. Staff are kind, friendly and approachable and really take an interest in my child’s development
and interests. Management are always present and are kind, friendly and approachable too.

I’m pleased with the support my child has received at this nursery.
I was impressed with how the nursery supported us when my son had a bad cold, they provided us with detailed updates and insisted we take him to the doctors where we realised he had an infection.
I appreciated their attention to detail,
which helped our son recover quickly from the infection. Thank you.

So far, I can say all the staff members we have had have interactions with from when our son started have been fantastic, pleasant and always willing to go the extra mile. Even though when our son wasn’t settling in well they kept us informed and tried their very best to get him settled. Now that he’s
settled in, he always look forward to the staff's cuddles when he’s dropped off and never wants to leave until he’s picked up. Thanks for all you ongoing support.

Our experience at Kiddi Caru has been amazing. All the staff are great and so helpful.
It has been such a pleasure sending my child to this nursery, knowing he is going to be cared for so well and have a great time!

Our little girl has attended Kiddi Caru since January 2023. She has settled in well and her confidence and development have both come on leaps and bounds. Communication with staff is excellent and all staff members enquire how she is at drop off and give a detailed handover when we pick her up. The
staff put on activities every day and we are getting over-run with her art work! We are really pleased with the nursery and every staff member we have come across.

Wonderful staff and management.

I have been really impressed by Kiddi Caru during the two weeks that my son has been there. The staff are great and I can really tell that they enjoy what they are doing. Food looks and sounds great. My daughter has been at Kiddi Caru for 2 years and is now in the preschool room. She has developed lovely relationships with the staff and children and really enjoys going every day. The new app makes communication even easier as well as seeing a rundown of her day. The staff are caring and compassionate.
It would be even better if the preschool outside space could be improved and use of the additional building be for something other than storage. Overall, I am really pleased with our experience here.

My daughter does enjoy being in the nursery. She has developed her confidence and her speech is a little better. On her first day of nursery, I got her back with a massive bruise on her face and I asked what happened. They apologised for not filing an accident report and this did make me feel uneasy
leaving my daughter in their care. I do feel like I am raising a few issues every few weeks about her nappy rash. And I’m not told about how bad it is until I go home and open the nappy myself to see how sore her bum is. I have asked many times how to help the situation. The staff are all lovely but I feel the handover is not great with communication. There’s an app which I think needs a lot of work but is good to see what she has eaten. I think the outdoor space needs a lot of work compared to nearby nursery’s this nursery needs a lot of work. As my child is settled I decided to stay with this nursery as she does enjoy playing and the children. And again all the staff are so lovely.
