The award-winning nursery was completely refurbished and re-equipped in 2019, and now offers a truly wonderful environment for children. The other Ware nursery – Angels at Play Suckling’s Yard– is located half a mile away and was refurbished in 2019 and equipped to the same high standard. They has a long serving staff team who are the heart of their childcare provision, and they build on that strong and stable foundation with their nursery design, equipment, resources and amazing outdoor environments. My little girl has been with the nursery since she was one.
Her development has been outstanding and the nursery has nurtured her learning in an amazing playful way. I have been so happy with the care she has received. She has been so happy attending the nursery and all of the girls there have been
amazing with her and she has formed really lovely bonds with all the workers in each room she's been in. I did not even need to look at other nurseries for my new addition for my return to work and automatically enrolled him.
Can't thank the manager and the girls enough for the last three years!

My daughter has been with Angels at Play - Park Road Day Nursery since she was 4 months old and has enjoyed every day. She runs into the nursery so excited to see the team and kids. The staff have been like second parents to her, the bond they share is amazing to see. The team clearly love what they
do and care deeply for the kids under their care. The nursery has great facilities and each day my daughter has fun doing different activities. The communication and updates each day via the team and app keep me informed of exactly what she has been up to. Every day I walk away knowing she will have great fun, be learning all the skills she needs to at her age and be looked after and cared for just as we would do at home. I would highly recommend Angles at Play - Park Road and the team to any family.

Having moved to the area this year, we had no previous knowledge about Angel's At Play, but have had such a great first year with our daughter at Park Road. She genuinely loves going to nursery every morning and has built such great relationships with the staff in her room and the children that she
sees every day. She has become so confident in such a short space of time and we are really grateful for the consistent and kind environment that the nursery provides. The management team are really supportive and friendly and the whole team have helped us navigate the transition of starting at a nursery so smoothly. It's such a lovely place to be - and as working parents, it's so reassuring to know that our daughter is so well taken care of and to have built such a trusting relationships with everyone that looks after her. She can't wait to move up to Kinders next month and we're looking forward to the year ahead with you all. Thank you all so much.

Sending your child to nursery is really daunting but I cannot imagine a better place to have experienced this transition for our family. I viewed six nurseries in my local area and Angels at Play Park Road was actually the furthest from our home! But the staff are simply fantastic; they have been meticulous
in managing my daughter's allergies. It never fails to amaze me what a bespoke and personalised experience my daughter gets, given the amount of other children in the room. They really get to know each individual child and their organisation is truly inspiring. I get regular photos via the app and this is so lovely because you don't want to miss those special 'first moments'. One of the standout things for me about this nursery was the designated sleep room in the baby room; I didn't see this in any of the other nurseries. They also have a beautiful sensory room and the baby room was the biggest space I saw for my daughter's age group (3-24M). Our daughter LOVES her time here.

Both of my children attend Angels at Play Park Road and I can not fault the nursery. My eldest has now left and my youngest absolutely loves going to nursery 3 days a week. Always happy to go in and often doesn’t want to leave. The staff are caring and really look after the children like a second family.

We cannot recommend Angels at Play enough. My daughter loves it there. As a parent, I was really nervous at first to be away from her, but the regular updates really helps and shows how happy she is. You can tell the staff really care for the children, and even though they have an assigned key worker,
the other staff all know my daughter’s name.

Angels at Play is a super nursery. I have three girls all attending at the moment, and they all love it. The staff are kind, caring and compassionate to both the children and parents. At handover time, the staff show a real interest in the children and seem to really understand them. The updates we
get throughout the week via the app are clear and paint a real picture of what our children have been up to. All three have allergies/intolerances, and the kitchen staff have gone above and beyond in ensuring they have food that they enjoy throughout the day. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough.

Mealtimes are seen as a social occasion at our nursery. Whilst we encourage children to try new foods, we work in close collaboration with our parents to ensure that we know what foods your child has tried already at home and build on this. We are able to cater for children who need special diets for either religious or medical reasons. If any child has a food allergy or intolerance, we have strict procedures in place in order to ensure they are kept safe.

Both my children attend Angels at Play and both settled so well into the nursery. The staff are amazing and so experienced within their role. My son started nursery and was delayed with speech, the teachers and manager were able to provide my son with extra support on a 1-1 basis in order to support
my son with his speech. My son is now a chatterbox and I can not thank Angels at Play enough for all their support. Both my children are happy and enjoy attending nursery, I would highly recommend Angels at Play to everyone.

My daughter loves attending nursery here and I know she is always happy and safe. The staff are really friendly and care a lot about the children. I always get an excellent handover at the end of the day, so I know exactly how my daughter's day has been as well as regular updates about her development.
The different activities they do each day are great as are the facilities, especially their outside spaces. I’d definitely recommend!

Can't fault this nursery and all the staff here, honestly feel quite lucky that I managed to get my daughter into such a lovely, warm, welcoming establishment. The staff genuinely care about the children (and the parents too - I suffer from extreme separation anxiety with my little girl and the manager
and staff have literally gone above and beyond to look after me too! They have been kind, empathetic, compassionate, and so patient with me and I cannot be more grateful). My daughter skips in there and genuinely loves her keyworkers and has a bond with them. It is clean, easy to access, laid back, cheerful, big and the facilities and Montessori-style play stations for the kids are unbelievable. So much to do. I have been in early to get my daughter before I pick her up at nap time and see the staff patting the children's backs and comforting them while they sleep - they just care and it shows. They are informative, keep you in the loop, include you, and are very efficient. Cannot fault them.

Both our boys attend Angels at Play Park Road. The level of care and compassion from all staff has been absolutely outstanding throughout. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they work in partnership with families in all aspect of the children's development. Staff are passionate about their jobs and
genuinely care about every child. The facilities are excellent, we love how each room has outside space and the children spend as much time outdoors as possible. The activities are fantastic and communication is faultless both via the app, email and in person handovers. Our youngest has additional needs and wears hearing aids. I can honestly say the level of support we have received has been incredible and has made a difficult time so much easier. Adaptions have been made and great care and attention has been made to meet his needs and ensure he is happy and settled. He is now thriving and we can’t thank everyone enough for everything they are doing and continue to do. We highly recommend.

Both my son and daughter started Angels at Play at 10 months of age. My daughter will be leaving nursery soon in readiness for school and can honestly say she has enjoyed every day she has attended nursery. The staff are caring, creative and know the kids so well. Both children have a blast - they get
messy, creative, dance, and all sorts! A member of staff in Kindergarten is particularly awesome!

A top nursery, and when my daughter got ill the support of the girls from the toddler room was outstanding. Could not ask for a better team. Our eldest son attended before her and the service then even throughout covid has been first class. Not the cheapest but definitely the best.

Since my son has attended Angels he has excelled in learning and confidence. All the staff are patient, kind, caring, fun, and very professional. My son loves going to nursery and I know for a fact that is due to not only the other children but especially the staff. He adores his key worker which I
believe to be very important. Angels have helped my son improve on his speech and interaction with others since he has been there since last August. Angels have a lovely food menu for the children, nice and clean facilities, two lovely outdoor play areas, and will assist you where possible if needed. Speaking from experience. I highly recommend Angels at Play to any parent for their child.

I couldn’t be happier and more confident about leaving my son at Angels! The staff perfectly balance professionalism and real heart, providing a safe, nurturing, and fun-filled environment, as well as challenging the children to explore their favourite topics and skills. The staff are always up to date
with the latest child development and education knowledge, which as a teacher myself, I know is so important. My son doesn’t like leaving me in the morning but whenever I pick him up he’s happily playing and it can be difficult to get him to leave! The staff have been so friendly, so helpful and so loving and I can’t thank them enough for the 3 years my son will have spent with them. It will be sad when his journey ends this summer!

My children have attended Angels at Play since February 2018 and I could not rate them more highly. The staff in each area are extremely loving and attentive and work in partnership with families to get the best out of the children. The nursery manager is so approachable and extremely helpful if you

Everybody who works there is friendly, warm, and accommodating. My child has already shown many new skills since attending. Facilities are always clean and I like all the different elements in the rooms - free play, outside space, the sleep room, all the toys, books. The nursery takes a real interest
in what your child is in to and works with them to develop. Very happy!

I have worked here since 2007, working my way up from a Nursery Nurse to Nursery Manager. I hold an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education, and subsequently gained an Early Years Foundation Degree in Childcare and Education.


I am extremely proud of all of the staff who work at our nursery; their care, passion and experience create an enabling environment for every child to achieve their full potential. All of our children make excellent progress and are supported throughout their nursery experience. Children’s learning and development have always been my passion and this filters through our team. We pride ourselves on our positive relationships and partnership working in order to make every child’s experience the best it can be – ensuring that their start in life is second to none.
