Our child began at Phoenix in December 2020. Even with the stress of everything at that time around them, Phoenix were amazing. They have continued to be incredible and we have really noticed a positive change in our child. Our child has a speech delay, which was impacted further by the pandemic. We
are on a waiting list for a referral but Phoenix nursery have been great with their support and plans. Our child has come on so much since they started nursery and their speech is getting so much better. With starting school next year, we are extremely confident that with the preparations already discussed with Phoenix, they will excel at school. They are always extremely happy at drop off and pick up and it’s great to receive regular updates about what they are doing throughout the day. I sometimes get a bit jealous of the activities! I really don’t know where we would be in terms of his progression if we hadn’t decided to pick Phoenix.

In the past, we sent our son to Phoenix and he was really prepared to start primary school. At the moment we have our daughter going to this nursery and we are really happy with how she is progressing and learning new things every day. She loves to go there and it is crystal clear how much the Phoenix
Nursery staff care about their pupils.

I cannot recommend Phoenix Nursery enough!
Properly qualified and caring staff.
They taught my daughter life skills as well as the academic side of learning.
Lots of outdoor activities, messy play (which most of us avoid at home!) fun learning and excellent communication with the parents.
I was
sad when her time came to an end and she was off to school, I will be sending my youngest daughter here without a doubt!

I could not recommend Phoenix Nursery enough. I was apprehensive sending my little girl to the nursery at only 10 months old but the staff were so friendly and caring, I needn’t worry. I loved the homely environment here and the home-cooked meals went down a treat with my little girl. She loved coming
to the nursery and gained so much from it, she has turned into a bright little girl which I can only thank the nursery for their time and efforts spent with her. They would plan interesting and educational activities for the children each week and it was great to see them having so much fun on the app. It’s such a lovely place for your child to make a great start to life, thank you Phoenix!

I love all about this nursery.
My son and my daughter started to attend the nursery when they were 1 year old and they felt loved as I was there.
They do a lot of different activities and they walk often through the wood to the park, beautiful experience.
The Staff and the owners are the best.
Familiar environment but very professional. The best.

Three out of four of my children have attended Phoenix. This nursery is the best! I have been impressed and completely blown away by their consistency, the quality, the passion and the personal interest shown to my children.
My children have strived and this is undoubtedly due to the foundation provided
by Phoenix. The team are fantastic and most members of staff have been there since my eldest daughter attended, she’s now 12.
I have and will continue to highly recommend Phoenix to anyone. You will not be disappointed.

Phoenix Nursery is a fantastic nursery, my daughter started there when she was only a year old and my son is due to start shortly. They are my hands and heart when I can’t be there for my children.
My daughter loves going to nursery, she has grown in independence and in character. She is loved and
nurtured and is thriving as a result. I couldn’t recommend them enough.

This Nursery has far exceeded my expectations and I don’t mean that lightly. This has been one of the best decision I made to enroll my two children at Phoenix at age 3yrs and 1yr. My children have become so confident in a short space of time and I cannot thank the nursery manager enough and the entire
nursery staff. My children come home teaching me all sort of lessons learnt in nursery, culture, kindness, different food as these are freshly prepared each day. You can not have a fussy eater in this nursery and they really enjoy their food. Another thing I love is the Tapestry app where you can follow you child’s progress by the uploaded pictures and videos of your children carrying out various activities both indoor and outdoor with details on what they did, learnt and achieved – This keeps me going especially at work. I am one happy mum and thanks to all you friendly staffs at Phoenix.


Thank you guys for all that you do. My children love you and enjoy their time with you all!!

Phoenix Nursery such a nice place to send your kid to.

First I would like to say that the staff of this nursery are very friendly and welcoming .


One thing that I like to mention is my son is very fussy regarding his food, he likes to eat only a few kind of meals, but at Phoenix Nursery he started

to taste different types of meals and he really started to like eating.

Our small family have known the staff at Phoenix for the last 7 years, with our son who attended first and now our daughter. We cannot ask for more from the Manager and the rest of the team. They are very supportive and always flexible. They are very knowledgeable and offer great advice when needed,
especially when the little ones are going through their terrible twos....or threes for that matter. They utilise the local area (park and woodland) to expand the little minds as well as going on day trips to the sea side. Both my son (when he attended) and daughter love going to the nursery and in fact get upset when it's not their day to go! My own extended family have also used the nursery for years and the rest of us keep going back with our own children, I think that says it all!

I took my son in when he was 9 months old. He settled in very well which made me feel more comfortable about my decision to go back to work. The nursery has lots of advantages to me as a parent but the biggest is that the staff are so welcoming and knowledgeable about childcare. They do not have shift
work, which means that the same person you met in the morning dropping your child off, is the same one you will find in the evening which really helps while settling in and for the child's development. Another thing I love about the nursery is that they do not have separate meal times for the older children. All their meals are prepared on site daily and they have a very healthy diet. They all eat together which makes meal times at home much easier. The nursery staff are very keen on healthy eating. Overall, I'm very pleased with my son's journey since he started back in May 2014 and I look forward to lots more.

This really is a fantastic nursery. 5 stars.
The lovely team are always happy and accommodating and really make me feel happy and confident in leaving my daughter at the nursery, after viewing all the local Stevenage nurseries and stumbling across Phoenix nursery at the very end of my search, I couldn't
have been more pleased. It really is such a unique setting which integrates babies and young children so well a thing other nurseries fail to do.
The children all eat together which is so nice much rather than all the different age groups being separated. The children get to spend time with their own aged peers to do aged related activities also. There is a lovely garden surrounded by the woods and nearby to the local lakes.
My daughter has always been happy and healthy at Phoenix and I couldn't recommend it highly enough.
You are always greeted by a familiar face (no constant changing of staff) and the children know and love the staff.
Overall a fantastic nursery.

Phoenix Nursery has been absolutely amazing at caring for all three of my children over a twelve year period.


It's extremely daunting having to find childcare for your little ones and Phoenix initially just 'felt right'.


I was definitely right to follow my instincts, as the care and teaching

has allowed my children to thrive. They didn't attend a school nusery as I work full time but the boys settled straight into school, and I'm sure my daughter will too in September.


I will really miss the staff and the experience of feeling welcomed at drop-off each morning.


I'd wholeheartedly recommend Phoenix to any parent!

I'm so grateful for the care and attention given to my child. My child has strict dietary requirements and the staff always go out of their way to accommodate her.
