Co-op Childcare Watford South Oxhey is hidden away in the heart of South Oxhey and their nursery provides a safe and nurturing environment.

Their ParentZone app keeps mums and dads informed about life at nursery with things like photos from their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress! They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained.

They are Green eco schools accredited, a programme that sees children lead the way in making little changes that deliver big environmental differences. They are big on happy children which is why they have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and take care of each other and the world.

They have 5 Little pioneers who help share their core values with children such as encouraging them to be independent to making a difference in the world.

At Co-op Childcare Watford South Oxhey there are 3 rooms within the nursery split into the following age groups: one room for 3 months – 20 months, one room for 20 months - 3 year olds and one room for the 3-5 year olds. The nursery has its own garden area which has a separate area for the 3-20 month olds, allowing the younger children to access the outdoor areas whenever they want to. The garden has a protective canopy so that the children can access the outdoors whatever the weather.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was ten months old. She is now three and in their pre-school and I have seen her develop so much since being there. She only joined the pre-school in January but settled in very quickly and I am amazed to hear from her what she has learnt already!
The nursery staff are extremely welcoming and not only do they care for your child, but for your whole family. I have found them to be extremely supportive, kind and caring and go above and beyond what I expect from a nursery. My child will stay at this nursery until she starts Reception and I would recommend it to any parent. Thank you to all the staff.

Fantastic members of staff, really patient with my child. They know her so well and I can tell they take time to nurture her interests. My children are always happy to go to nursery every day and happy to see the staff and their key workers.

Our kids have been going to this nursery since they were 1 year old, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. What truly makes this place special is the amazing staff. They are caring, attentive, and go above and beyond to make sure the children are happy and well looked after.
While the facility
is simple and practical, it's the warmth and dedication of the team that make it such a wonderful environment. Both of our kids absolutely love being here, and it's clear how much effort the staff put into creating a safe, fun, and nurturing space for the children.
We're so grateful for everything they do and couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough!

Excellent nursery, which my daughter has spent nearly 4 years in! They have shown; care, compassion, nutrition, child (and parent) training and education, enthusiasm, and stability.

I can’t recommend this nursery enough. My older daughter loves it and my youngest starts in May and I know she will also love it. They keep you updated via the app with photos which is a bonus. The deputy manager is just amazing and so are the rest of the staff there. They really do make this nursery
special. Also, the chef is amazing. My daughter is a fussy eater and she’s been eating so well at the nursery. They really do care.

Care and development of children are evident and driven through the brilliant team, enabling them to thrive. The environment is warm and welcoming for parents and children alike. Communication is great, and ad-hoc events (fairs/ fundraisers/ externals such as police and fire services coming in) are
run extremely well and make parents/guardians feel part of the nursery whilst they’re not always physically there.

Best nursery I have ever come across. My little one enjoys a lot and learning different skills every day. All the staff are very caring and supportive. The best environment for your children to grow. Regular parent meetings and review of your child's growth is the most important thing. Highly recommended.

The team is very good as always, as I saw them from before 5 years ago when my elder son was attending the nursery.
I was amazed to see almost the same team 5 years later for my younger one, that gave me a big relief and trust.

My youngest started in the butterflies room at the beginning of this month and has settled in very well. Staff have been amazing with settling her in as she can be very shy but independent. She has adapted very well and loves the staff which is very comforting. She’s really enjoying all the activities.

Such a wonderful and loving place. My kids enjoy their day a lot. Amazing staff and knows how to tackle children in the first few weeks of settlement. I do not have to worry about them at all during the whole day. Would definitely recommend it.

My daughter has attended the nursery for the past 7 months and loves being there. The staff are very caring and the special days they run are great. They recently did a Mother's Day afternoon with all of the mums invited and it was lovely to see what activities my child does in the nursery room. The
staff also took the time to chat with us individually about how our child is progressing.
I like that we get regular updates on the app, including tips on how to support my daughter's development.
The food is good (my child is a fussy eater) and she has started to eat lots of different foods.

My eldest son used to attend this nursery, he is 7, now my little girl goes there too, it’s lovely as a parent to get to see some of the familiar faces that used to care for my eldest now taking care of my baby girl.
I’ve always felt confident leaving both my kids at this nursery and all the staff
always was (and still is) very reassuring when the kids are not well for some reason or because something has happened.
The communication through the app is great as I can always check her naps and her meals.
My son still loves to come with me to drop off and pick up his little sister and catch up with some of the staff members that used to look after him when he was a baby.
I will definitely recommend this nursery.

My son has been at Co-op Childcare Watford South Oxhey since 2020. He has learnt and developed so much and absolutely loves going to nursery. The environment is very friendly, safe and nurturing from early days all the way up to pre-school. The facilities are very good, but I believe that the staff
is what makes this nursery stand up. Absolutely amazing!
