Busy Bees in Apsley was the perfect nursery for our then 11-month-old son. He has a great bond with all of his nursery carers who look after him during the two days that he does. They have a wonderful chef on site who prepares great varied meals for the children. Busy Bees have signed up to an App called
Parent Zone which is fantastic for live updates of nappy changes, food, and different things that our son has got up to. His end-of-year reviews are very thorough and encouraging. Any emails or issues that you may have with Busy Bees are always answered quickly and thoughtfully. Big fan of the company, so will recommend highly.

What can I say about Busy Bees Apsley! My son started back before Christmas when me and my husband began to return to work. We were both very anxious as we have not left him before but the girls at Apsley have been amazing and put our worries to rest. They have all been so caring and attentive to our
son and we couldn't be more grateful if we tried. They follow his routine so well, which has really helped him settle, and they have supported us through our worries. I love how we get daily updates of his nappies, feedings and sleep as well as photos and videos of him playing and learning. It always puts a smile on my face. I want to thank the girls and the manager for all the hard work they do and for taking care of our pride and joy.

Busy Bees Apsley have been an amazing part of our children’s live for two years. Their attention to care, elements of learning and development are brilliant. My son has particularly developed in leaps and bounds because of the child specific support from his key worker. My son adores all his teachers
and the staff at Busy Bees Apsley and we as parents feel comforted that our son is so happy at the nursery, we too feel apart of the small nursery community. We highly recommend Busy Bees Apsley and all the staff that support and work at the setting.

Busy Bees Apsley is a great place to send our two year old, who loves it and has been going since she was seven months old. We are impressed by the variety of activities she gets up to and the food that is served to the children. We also like the new app that allows us to track what she's been doing,
such as her food, nappies and naps throughout the day and occasionally we see a photo of what she's been doing.

What a wonderful nursery, my daughter loves it. The staff are amazing and I know my daughter is very well looked after. They teach her so many things and she is always smiling when she comes home. She even gets her coat out on a Saturday morning! The care is outstanding but also, I like how good the
communication is between myself and the staff. Nothing is too much trouble and I know I can call any time. Being a first time mum, I found it really hard leaving my daughter for the first time but the amazing communication made it so much easier.

Our daughter is so happy at Busy Bees. The staff are so attentive and have taken the time to help our daughter grow and develop. Her face lights up with excitement each morning at drop off.

The care and learning at Busy Bees Apsley has been above our expectations. After having 2 poor experiences with other childcare providers, it has been a relief to send our 2 children (2 and 4) to nursery where they are safe, stimulated and learning key skills they will use throughout their lives. Staff
are supportive, kind and caring and both children thrived at nursery and depart with huge smiles on their faces. I cannot thank them or recommend them enough.

We registered our daughter on an open day to start nursery at 7 months. On the open day we were assured that babies are well looked after and they are not let to cry until they fall asleep. The nursery was also very clean and staff very cheerful and assuring.
When we went for her settle in session,
it was a completely different story: the rooms were very messy, it was raining outside and everyone was in outdoor shoes, even in the baby unit, where babies are crawling etc. We were there in March and most kids were ill, and for one hour, no one wiped their noses once. Furthermore, the lady who was meant to be my daughter's key person told me that of course they will be let to cry before sleep, but not for too much (I am wondering what too much means)
What put me off most was that kids seemed to be very unhappy there, so we decided not to go ahead with the nursery.
Would not recommend the nursery.

Well, what can we say about team Apsley? They have done such an outstanding job in this current climate of uncertainty. They have worked so hard to help not only our child but all the children who attend this great nursery. They represent and practice the team ethos and also excel with how they teach,
spend quality time and educate everyone. Our firstborn grew up with these ladies so this naturally prompt us to send our second-born there to as our firstborn has grown up to become an outstanding student going into Yr 7. They educate the true values of life and ensure that our children understand them and practice them at nursery and at home. They have played a big part in our child’s upbringing. Thank you.

I can not recommend this nursery highly enough. All the staff I’ve come into contact with have gone above and beyond to make my daughter feel safe, welcome and happy to be there. We’ve had to make some adjustments to her diet, and the centre director has responded immediately and all the team have been
very compliant and supportive during these changes. During lockdown, I felt updated with the status of the nursery re-opening and the measures put in place to ensure staff and child safety.

I’m am so happy with this nursery. I was a total mess when trying to find childcare for my 2 year old. The Manager was amazing when she showed me round and now my son has settled and completely fallen in love with his key person I’m relaxed when I leave him. I trust them, believe my son is actually
cared for and he always comes home messy and happy and this makes my world. Thank you for making my son feel special.

My daughter has been here since she as 6 months old (she is now 4). I have never experienced any issues at all with the staff or the care they have provided.
My daughter loves coming to the nursery, she has made many friends, her personality has grown and I feel that her interest in learning is always
increasing. She absolutely loves the staff and runs in each morning to hug them.
I'll be very sad when she leaves in the summer. Huge thank you to all of the staff for the excellent care they provide for my daughter.

My husband and I are both very happy with the care for my son who has been at the nursery since 9 months old (he is now 19 months).


The food is great and I love the fact my son tries new food/recipes we wouldn't otherwise make at home.


The only negative; it would be ideal to have more communication

regarding parents evening, dress up days and perhaps reminders if an event is coming up. Having a busy life, it is easily forgotten.


I have also recommended a friend who now takes his son there and she is also happy with the care.

My son has been going to Busy Bees since January 2018 and he has absolutely thrived. He has learnt French, does gymnastics and loves every second of being there, he even asks to go to nursery at the weekend!
All the girls are lovely and welcoming, always on hand to help out with queries or if there
is a problem. I love sending my son here and I am so glad I did! I would happily recommend this nursery to anyone.

Lovely, friendly nursery staff - very comfortable leaving my child in their care - he has been very happy and settled since his first day over a year ago. Lovely play facilities indoors and pleased that the children are regularly taken into the garden (though a brief disappointment is that it isn't
a bigger space). Happy with the nutrition given too, and overall cleanliness of, the babies. Good range of event days and activities. Personal reasons beyond the aforementioned points are proximity to parents' workplaces, convenient opening/closing hours, and 10% teacher-parent discount, plus the provision of nappies and wipes and snacks which is not usual across the board. Excellent choice and will bring any future children as well.
