My son loves going to nursery here and always comes home smiling.
The staff are fantastic, especially his keyworker. I can go to them with any questions or concerns, and they are always happy to help.
His independence skills have developed fantastically, and this is due to the staff here that always
go above and beyond in their roles.
I'm actually sad my son has to go to school in September as I don't want him to leave.

My child is sometimes a little bit anxious going to nursery but is always comforted by members of staff and always comes out happy. Very dirty, but happy. “Dirty child, happy child.” There’s plenty of info about the day in the nursery, either on Facebook private group or now on the app. Staff are happy
to chat with me and listen to any problems, and I feel he is safe, happy, learning adequately to his age; he’s made plenty of friends and does have his favourite staff too.
To those who feel there’s not enough info… you just need to ask or follow Facebook or the app. To those who feel their kids come out dirty, that’s because there’s a beautiful garden to play, roll down the hill or climb the trees, bake the cake, play with foam, glitter or glue… this all means the kids have a fab time and staff do their job as best as they can.
Overall, I’m very happy with this nursery and would highly recommend.

I always pick my daughter up looking dirty and sometimes comes out with her shoelace untied, nose all messy. I don't know what she learns because she is not able to say and the teachers don't tell either.

Reply from Kath Taylor, Owner at Sunbeams St Nicks

We recently changed our learning journeys. There was a period where parents didn’t have access to them. We have a private facebook page, we share photos of activities. The preschool can be messy during session but is very clean. We clean every 30 minutes with a full clean each day. Outside space is amazing. Many opportunities to explore nature, run, climb, investigate. Safeguarding procedures are robust, everyone has a very good understanding keeping children safe. We have had no safeguarding incidents. Staff are experienced and well qualified. Staff plan engaging activities. Recently children watched caterpillars turn into butterflies and set them free. Children make excellent progress. We focus on children’s language skills. We use a special programme to support this development. Parents are pleased with the progress children make. After speaking to the parent, we believe that any misunderstandings have been rectified. The parent continued to send their child to our preschool.
