Excellent nursery. Our son loves coming to nursery. He has made so many friends and loves all the staff. They are so warm and attentive and really go the extra mile. Would recommend to everyone.

This is such a lovely nursery with staff who go above and beyond for the children. Our daughter has had a lovely experience and we feel very reassured that she is safe, happy and developing a range of skills when there. Whilst there were some recruitment issues previously, this has improved and it's
such a lovely environment. I am sure staff retention won't be a problem in the future. We are so glad that we kept our daughter there and managed to find ways to be able to flex around some of the closures etc. The recent renovations and improvements to the outside space are great and was done really efficiently with minimal impact. It's been so wonderful to see our daughter develop and make strong friendships at nursery, both with the children and also with the staff. We love the regular photo updates and celebration of special festivals etc. The staff have been really helpful with making suggestions and accommodating any requests (eg dietary issues), which has been very much appreciated.

I have had two children at this nursery until September, when my eldest left for school. Both children have been there since they were one year old. Both love the nursery and the staff. I have found all the staff to be helpful and very caring! My son had speech and language delays along with other developmental
delays and they did everything possible to help him while he was there! Cannot fault them!

Our son has been attending since the age of 9 months (he is now 27 months) - he absolutely loves it. The staff are great and care deeply for the children. They are always coming up with interesting and stimulating activities for the kids. They take the time to tailor their care to each child and make
them feel loved and cared for. Our son often requires coaxing to come home in the evenings! We will be sending our daughter there next year when she is 9 months old. Lovely spacious rooms for the different settings and the outdoor spaces have been recently redone as well.

This is a wonderful nursery, with caring, kind and friendly staff, who seem to genuinely love what they do. My daughter has settled in quickly and is very happy here. They offer a variety of activities creating learning opportunities and my daughter brings home lovely artwork most days. The communication
is the best we have experienced and the regular photo uploads make my day! I would highly recommend this nursery.

My little girl loves it here she is so, so happy. The staff have been amazing and very accommodating. I feel relaxed to leave my child here, knowing she will be well looked after well and have lots of fun.
I love the app and that the staff upload pictures and a diary of their day, it's a great way
to stay informed and see the fun they are getting up to. I could not fault this nursery or the staff and am so glad we send our little one here.

Lovely nursery and carers, and the kids love it there. The only problem is they keep closing rooms down, often on very short notice (even less than an hour). They say it’s due to staffing issues, due to Brexit, etc. but it’s been going on for two years and they don’t seem to try to fix it at all. We
have friends at several nearby nurseries and they’ve never had issues like this. Many parents have already taken their kids out. You just don’t have any certainty of childcare and all we get when they cancel is a day rate refund and a sorry. In the next 3 weeks alone we now have 5-day closures directly affecting us - it’s hard to keep up with our work commitments like this.

My 3-year-old son is attending Bright Horizons Tonbridge Day Nursery and Preschool and he is always happy to go there and when we are picking him up. The nursery displays a good range of activities, excellent food adequate to health nutrition norms and staff are lovely and very engaging with a child.

Our daughter is very happy there. They take incidents seriously and act appropriately. Response times can sometimes be a bit slow. The Covid controls put in place were recently tested when a member of staff contracted it. It was not passed on to us, a great success.

My daughter has attended this nursery for over 2 years and she has absolutely loved it. The staff are very friendly and she always looks forward to going. We, therefore, had no hesitation with arranging for our son to attend (starts next week) and the nursery have been fantastic in getting him signed

My son has been at Bright Horizons since 8 months old, he will start school this September. I am very happy with the nursery and so is my child. He has made friends, learned good behaviour and has a great relationship with the staff. They are doing a great job preparing him for school. The communication
is excellent - even at this challenging time - and their covid procedures are clear and safe. Meals are varied and healthy while remaining child friendly! We will miss Bright Horizons when the time comes to move on to school.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Joined: 2021

Naomi has been working in Childcare since 2003 where she has gained lots of experience working with children from 3 months to 5 years. She started her journey as a member of the bank team at BH Tonbridge, progressing to Room leader of their preschool and baby rooms.


She became Deputy manager in 2013 and transferred to BH Kings Hill in February 2019, staying in the same role. She is now looking forward to leading the team as Nursery Manager at Tonbridge.


She is very passionate about children having fun within a safe environment and reaching their full potential. She is also the nursery Senco and is very keen to ensure any children with additional needs have their educational needs met while working with outside agencies to ensure this is achieved.


In her spare time, she enjoys walking her dogs and spending time with her son.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Hello my name is Rachel, I have worked at Bright Horizons Tonbridge since May 2009 and am level 3 qualified in childcare.
I love knowing that parents feel safe leaving their child with me and that I am able to keep them safe and cared for through each day.
I worked in the toddler room for a year and a half and then worked in babycare for 8 years where I became room leader then third in charge. I loved working in the baby care room welcoming new babies and families.
In January 2009 I became deputy Manager and help and support the running of the nursery along with spending time with the children in the rooms.
It is very rewarding watching the children grow and develop through their time with us before their next big adventure at school.
