We are very happy with Busy Bees Nursery in Rainham, our son started here in September and he really enjoys it, he loves all of the staff who are so nice. We receive lots of information about him from his day at nursery, such as everything he's eaten, nappy changes, pictures of things he's been up to
and all of the activities he's been doing, they always have a wide range of activities out for the children as well which is great! Staff are really friendly too, so overall, in the short amount of time he has been attending Busy Bees, we are really impressed. Thank you.

Both my son and my daughter have attended holiday club at Busy Bees Rainham and have always enjoyed their time there. All holiday club staff take so much time and effort to plan activities and trips! My children always walk out with a big smile on their faces and they have made many friendships and
memories. The staff go above and beyond.
Thank you!

I am so pleased we chose Busy Bees Rainham. My son can be hard work and is very defiant but he is getting on great. They deal with his issues well and communicate everything with me.
There are endless activities for the children and they are changed every day. He comes home singing new songs and telling
me about his new friends. I'm very happy.

My child started nursery this year. I was a nervous parent, as my baby was young when she started. The staff made me feel at ease and looks after her so well. I love the different days they do and dress-up days with her! I'm really happy with Busy Bees as a whole.

My son enrolled at Busy Bees in Rainham in October 2020 - we viewed a couple of nurseries in the area but as soon as we stepped into Busy bees we were greeted by the manager, she immediately just gave us that home from home feeling, we went into the baby room and she sat down and started playing with
our little boy, showing him toys etc. We instantly knew Busy Bees was the place for him.
We had a couple of settling in days where we went through what stages our son was at and I explained that I was worried about his eating/weaning and she said we’d work together to help. They did exactly that - the team there are incredible - the first day I was obviously a little apprehensive but he’s getting on so well and the support with his eating/weaning has been the biggest help and I feel so much more confident. The menu is great, his development is shining and I cannot fault the team. Thank you so much.

My daughter absolutely loved coming to Busy Bees Rainham! She started here from the age of 2 right through to the end before starting big school and the whole experience has been nothing but positive. She progressed so much from being here and made a lot of close relationships with friends and staff,
in particular with two members of staff which she formed very close bonds with.
I was always kept up to date with anything new happening and with regular emails on new information.
Thank you Busy Bees Rainham.. you’ve been amazing!

I am very happy with the level of care that my child receives. He really enjoys his time at nursery and gets a lot out of attending. Staff were very helpful and caring when he wasn't feeling well and had a period of uncertainty.

A nice and friendly environment with well-qualified staff.
Both of my sons learn a lot every time when they are at the nursery. They like the toys and all the games, songs and activities because these always match their interests and ages.
As a parent, I can recommend this nursery because this is
really the best start for the children in their lives.

My Son has really struggled with separation anxiety and so we knew that two mornings a week in a professional setting would help him adjust and learn that ‘mummy always comes back’, as well as some much-needed respite for me!
The staff were really supportive and helped us both through this transition.
I hated having him torn off me every time I dropped him off but knew that I had chosen somewhere he would be safe, have fun and learn to socialise. He hardly cries now and is gaining confidence weekly.
He has made friendships with both staff and other children and I’m very pleased that we made the decision to send him here.
The staff are kind and seem to enjoy their jobs. The toys are vast in number and the building very secure. The little thoughtful gifts they make with the children are beautiful-for Mother’s Day we each got our child’s fingerprint in a heart key ring.

My baby settled quickly into the nursery due to the care and attention he receives from the staff. I am kept informed of the number and length of naps, bottles consumed and introduction of new foods. They do not mind me calling to check if he is OK if I feel he is slightly under the weather.

Excellent nursery. My son started at 1 year old, the staff were amazing at settling him in and learning his routine and what he wanted very quickly. Amazing group activities they do with them and a large range of activities for them to do. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been going to Meredale for over a year, she was eight months old when she started in the Baby Room.
She’s now 19 months, a toddler and we have increased her attendance from three days a week to four.
Her key worker and all staff that she interacts with are brilliant and attentive
to her development and growing personality.
They have cared for her during some rough periods (eczema and food intolerances) and have done more than we have asked for to make sure she is comfortable and happy when she is at nursery.
Her learning journal is always up to date and documented with observations and pictures every month, it is reassuring to see the attention that is provided.
We are really satisfied with the service provided at Meredale and I have recommended it to my mum friends.

My son has been at Meredale Day Nursery for nearly a year now and it was the best decision we made. He loves his days at nursery and particularly likes music days. The staff are genuinely caring and interested and have helped my son flourish in his time here. I particularly like that they have lots
of outdoor time. He gets a healthy balanced diet and really couldn't be happier with the care he receives.

My son has been going to this nursery since he was seven months old. He’s now three and preparing for school and I can’t thank this nursery enough for all that they have done for him and helped achieve. He is such a social and intelligent little boy and I will be sad when he leaves. I would highly recommend
taking your child here. The staff are amazing and great with all the children. Ten out of ten from me.

Current Review Score: 8.4 (8.393)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.4 (8.393) out of 10 for Busy Bees Rainham is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 3 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.4 out of 5 from 3 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 5.000 for Busy Bees Rainham is calculated as follows: ( (36 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 36 Ratings = 5

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 3.393 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Rainham is based on 3 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.25

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 105 number of registered child places is 21. 3 Positive Reviews ÷ 21 = 0.143

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Hello, my name is Kirsty and I have been with the company since May 2010. I hold my level 3 diploma in childcare and my level 5 degree in leadership and management. My journey with Busy Bees started off at Maidstone Allington nursery in 2010, where I started as pre school room manager and worked my way up. In September 2019, I started my new adventure here at Busy Bees in Rainham. I am looking forward to welcoming you into our homely nursery and working closely with you to ensure your child has the best start in life.

I am a mum of two, who have also been through their busy bees journeys over the years and are both now at school. We enjoy spending time with each other as a family, going out on adventures and of course, I enjoy socialising with my friends, this usually means trips to the cinema and meals out.
