At Little Pioneers John Radcliffe Hospital there are 5 home rooms within the nursery split into the following age groups: 3 rooms for the 0-2 year olds, one room for the 2-3 year olds and one room for the 3-5 year olds.

They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained. They have an app called ParentZone which keeps mums and dads informed about life at nursery with photos of their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress!

They have 5 Little Pioneers who help share their core values with children from encouraging them to express their feelings to making a difference in the world. They are big on happy children so they have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and take care of each other and the world.

The nursery are silver eco schools accredited, an internationally recognised award for excellence in environmental action and learning.

There are four separate garden play areas that are age and developmentally appropriate. The children also have an allotment area where they learn how to take care of plants; fruit, vegetables and flowers and enjoy watching them grow. At the end of the season the children pick and taste the fruit and vegetables which are often used with a cooking activity.

I live the relationship my daughter has with staff members. Especially her key person because they have truly bonded and it's clear to see their connection. It makes me really happy to know that my daughter is happy to go into nursery every day. Keep up the good work guys.

I always feel this nursery strives for the highest standards and does all it can to develop my child's learning. My daughter loves it and has got some lovely relationships with some of the staff.
Any vacancies are always filled swiftly and I've always felt that recruitment is done carefully to ensure
that all staff have the same positive mentality.
I would fully recommend this nursery.

My daughter loves the nursery. I feel safe when I leave my daughter every day as I know that the excellent and compassionate staff will look after her.
The nursery has an outstanding rating by the Ofsted and they deserve it.
They teach my daughter the alphabet and the numbers with some simple maths.
The
working hours are very suitable, from 0700 to 1800, suits me perfectly.
I highly recommend it to everyone, they are the best.

I am already recommending this nursery to all the people with children that I know. The staff are friendly, hardworking and patient. There are many creative and themed activities that keep the children interested, as well as prepare them for school. My son looks forward to going in the morning and gets
upset if I collect him too soon which speaks volumes. I have total faith in the nursery manager, she is passionate about her work which infiltrates the whole of the nursery and the people in it.

My girl started at Little Pioneers Oxford when she had just turned one. Although the first weeks were stressful, for both me and her, she has now settled in well. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. Whenever I have come to collect her I peek in the room to see how she’s getting on and always
notice the staff are consistently engaging, comforting or talking to the babies in there.
The staff have been great with cloth nappies too!

I have no hesitation in recommending this nursery. It has provided a loving and safe environment that has seen my little girl blossom into a toddler.


She loves going there. She sings, dances, paints, plays in the garden and socialises with the other children. The nursery teachers look after her

and attend to her when she needs them including when she needs to use the washroom.


The nursery manager is lovely and kind and knows all the children's names and personalities. She is hardworking and committed to providing a well-run nursery. Recently the nursery has also provided a number of special meals to cater for most diets, also including halal meat. Security within the nursery is also of utmost concern, with most rooms locked to people from the outside.

Little Pioneers Oxford (John Radcliffe) Nursery has been a home away from home for my children and I. They have looked after my children with kindness and love and I have never felt worried when I leave them. The staff are BRILLIANT and committed to their work. The nursery is “simply the best”.

I have chosen Little Pioneers Oxford (John Radcliffe) Nursery for both of my children.
I have been very happy with the range of activities on offer, the quality of the equipment and the compassion of the staff. My son is difficult at drop off but he is always given a big cuddle until he is ready to
play. He comes home singing all sorts of songs and rhymes and is now starting to write his name.
I can always talk to the staff about any concerns and they are listened to. There is a range of initiatives to encourage parents to be proactive with learning at home.

The staff at Little Pioneers have been fantastic with our 1-year-old son. After visiting 3 or 4 nurseries in the local area we decided on this one due to the extremely friendly and well-trained staff members, as well as the well structured days and facilities (including an outdoor play area).
The nursery
manager goes above and beyond to be helpful and really helped put our minds at ease during the first few weeks our son was there.
The opening hours are fantastic (7am-6.30pm) for us due to our changeable working hours. This is something many other places did not offer, or charged excessive amounts for.
I would highly recommend that people consider this for their children, we will definitely be keeping our son there for the foreseeable future.

The staff are fantastic - warm, gentle and enthusiastic. Besides the lovely ladies who look after my son, I’m impressed that so many of the staff know my son by name, even if they don’t work in his room! He has settled well and staff are clearly doing a great job encouraging him with his language.


The

management team are also great, always making themselves available if you have a question or if you want to phone in to check on your child.

The staff are very friendly and professional. My son loves going to nursery every day and holds his arms open and smiles at the educators when we drop him off. My child has been attending this nursery for a year and a half. He has absolutely loved it there. The staff are all friendly and really welcome, I know my son is will be loved. Whilst there, he has experienced 3 of the different age rooms which have all provided a variety of activities and care suited
to him the nursery were aware when he needed to move to a more advanced room and did so. The nursery use a parent zone system which provides me with updates and pictures throughout the day so I know what he is doing and eating/sleeping routines. It is lovely to see him get so comfortable and make friends there which the staff has helped him do. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

We had to move our two children from a small personal nursery as they shut unexpectedly. To say I was worried about them going somewhere so big and different is an understatement. However I needn't have worried, they both settled in really well and this is thanks to the lovely staff at the nursery.


They have been so supportive and a little boy who used to cry at drop off every morning now runs through the door with a smile on his face. It’s so good to know your children are happy and safe. The nursery is always very clean and my children eat a wide variety of foods that they wouldn’t normally eat at home.

I am very happy with my daughter's care, she has settled in very well and made good friends with other toddlers. I am impressed with the food (it smells amazing !), I'm pretty sure my daughter eats better at nursery than at home!
My daughter has some amazing key workers, people who seem genuinely excited
about her development.
There is always new activities out, different toys to play with. I am very happy with the service they provide.
