Bright Horizons Milton Park Day Nursery and Preschool provides high-quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

The purpose-built nursery boasts bright, spacious, highly resourced rooms which are tailored to specific age groups. The spacious outdoor environment offers all children an opportunity to extend their learning outdoors in all weathers with a dedicated baby garden, sensory stations, climbing equipment and cycling space.

Their unique Healthy Hearts and Minds activities provide inspirational and engaging learning experiences using the innovative and well established Boogie Mites and myHappymind programmes.

An enriching Ready for School programme gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.

Milton Park provides the children with a nutritionally-balanced menu which is prepared by the on-site chef. Fresh ingredients are used to support the healthy growth and development of each child.

The nursery is situated in Milton Business Park and offers visitor parking at the front of the building.

The nursery was rated 'Good' by Ofsted in September 2017.

Excellent staff that take a keen interest, in not only caring for our children but also in their development. They are always doing new activities that keep my children keen and excited to go in every day. Could not hope to be dropping my children off at a better nursery.

Wonderful, friendly staff and a supportive environment for our child. Communication's between the nursery and parent's have been improved with the implementation of the app, it has been great to receive occasional photos.

Both of my daughters have attended Bright Horizons at Milton and we have been really impressed with the level of care they have received. Most importantly, my youngest daughter (18 months old), loves going there which is a huge relief to me, that she is happy, settled and all her needs are being met
to an excellent standard. Activities are well planned, with wonderful resources that are engaging and provide great opportunities for learning. The environment is so calm with all the little ones looking content and happy whenever I pick up/drop off. Communication has always been excellent and my wishes for my daughter are always followed. Staff are energetic, enthusiastic and confident which is just what my little one needs. The meals and snacks provided sound delicious and help to meet a balanced diet, She always eats everything she is offered which is great! Overall we are incredibly happy and would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff for all their hard work.

Really pleased with the care for our daughter throughout her time at Milton Park, she is thriving at primary school and that is a reflection on the care and learning that she has experienced in her four years at nursery. The staff have always gone above and beyond to support us as a family and we will
forever be grateful for everything that the nursery staff have done for us.

My son absolutely adores going to nursery, in the two rooms he’s so far been in, he has made a fantastic relationship with his key workers. The love and care he gets is outstanding and I can’t ask for anything more! The food it varied and is nutritious, giving him a well balanced diet, and he always
seems to enjoy what they have to offer! Recently a new app has gone live and I absolutely love this way of communication, photos are uploaded regularly of what he gets up to and feel with the current situation I don’t need to be standing and chatting about his day because absolutely everything is up loaded to the app! If I have any concerns or changes to his needs this too can be communicated via the app and very quickly replied! I can not fault the management, they personally get to know your child and family and always greet in the mornings and afternoon and on hand if you need them! Thank you Milton Park.

Very bad experience having my son placed in an isolation room due to a regular cough. Unfortunate circumstances made me arriving after 30min only. My son was placed in this room with no window, fully PPE scary staff, with no toy, no book. A very stressful environment, the member of staff trying her
best, but no chance to get my son calmed down given the highly stressful environment. Not to mention the stress following to bring him to the Covid test, him 'nicely' mentally prepared in this isolation room. My son was sleepless for 2 weeks afterwards, despite him being a very good sleeper usually. It took two weeks of intense work at home and with supportive nursery staff to have him sleeping ok again, and not saying: 'I am not ill, I don't have to go to nursery' every morning before leaving.
I think the isolation policy and room in place at Milton Park are dangerous for kids mental health.
Not to mention my feelings around the new food policy with dieticians encouraging junk food. Bad bad!!

I have spoken to the Nursery Manager who has confirmed the isolation room used for a child with covid symptoms to wait in with a nursery worker until collected by a parent does have a window and plenty of toys. Our Nursery Manager is happy for you to come into the Nursery setting to see the room if this will help.


The Nursery team have fed back they are currently working with you directly regarding your concerns around the menu and again are happy for you to come to the Nursery and have a parent one to one.
We hope you get your concerns resolved asap as you continue to have your child in the setting, we want you to be content with your nursery choice.

The nursery has been very helpful for my daughter and son. Always there to help with queries and completely trust my child with the staff. The hours are suitable for my work. The staff listen to me and my child's needs. It feels like the children are the centre of the nursery.

Bright Horizons is absolutely brilliant. The service they provide is outstanding. The individual personal approach they adopt is first class, and the individual feedback about the children daily, weekly activities is brilliant. They communicate and promote the excellent work the children have been doing
over the week. The knowledge of the staff and their guidance and experience in supporting the development of my boys has been great. The boys love the staff and they have so much fun and are so excited to go into Bright Horizons as they have a fun-filled packed day.

Milton Park is amazing! I’m an ex room leader so my expectations are to the highest level for my 2-year-old son, and what can I say Milton park meets them all. There is a great range of creative activities to engage my son to have fun and learn those key milestones in his development. The garden areas
are full of natural resources and the woodland area around the Nursery gives my son the opportunity to learn about the world around him. All the staff in my eyes are ‘outstanding’ and the management team go above and beyond to meet the needs of parents, children.

Wonderful nursery. I would highly recommend to anyone. The staff are all very welcoming and always happy, they have been amazing with my baby who has food allergies. I don’t feel she is missing out on anything. They are always very informative about her day too. She’s always happy to go and hasn’t ever
cried when I’ve left her.
The newly refurbished garden is also fabulous, 10/10 from a very happy mummy. Keep it up Bright Horizons!

We have been using Bright Horizons Milton Park for 3.5 years now and have been very happy with all areas of the nursery; from babies to pre-school.
The staff are experienced, enthusiastic and have taken such good care of our girls during their time there. We are very happy with the food, resources,
and general level of care that is provided.
We would highly recommend to anyone looking for childcare in the area.

I cannot speak highly enough of this nursery. Both my son (who have just left the preschool to start school) and daughter (a toddler) have always been given an excellent standard of care and attention. The staff are professional, very friendly and genuinely caring of the children in their care. Both
our children have formed excellent bonds with their superb key carers in each room, which has been so beneficial for their development. Staff are brilliant at providing feedback about the children’s day.
The facilities are very good, well-planned and constantly being reviewed, the children try all sorts of activities. The newly-refurbished garden is a big hit with my daughter. The children get as much fresh air as possible. The food is great, the menu is varied and interesting.
Even when I was anxious as the children started at nursery for the first time, the staff have always been so reassuring, I always feel that my children are in the safest of hands.

I am extremely likely to recommend this nursery. My daughter loves her time there she is always happy when I collect her and the staff are always so enthusiastic about informing me of her day.

Both my grandchildren are very happy at Milton Park, they love their time at nursery and are always excited to tell us what they have been doing.
The management team are fantastic, I always get such a warm and friendly welcome when I collect and there is always someone at the desk to let me in. They
are genuinely interested in how myself and my grandchildren are and that means a lot.

My two daughters attend Milton Park Nursery and both absolutely love their time there. My eldest daughter recently took part in an organised Christmas play which was a huge highlight for her and fantastically organised by the staff. Both of my daughters come home saying how much fun they have and I
can see how much they learn whilst they are there. All my interactions with the staff are fantastic and the management team show clear enthusiasm for their job and make me feel very comfortable leaving my children in their teams care.

Arrived at the nursery to pick up my son to be greeted by a very nice helpful lady, she asked me who was I looking for and she immediately went and found the person I asked for. The security seems pretty good, you can’t just walk in off the street which is a rather comforting thought as they have people’s
precious little ones inside. Went inside the building with a member of staff, they have a nice reception area with the different rooms going to either side of the building, arrived in the room where my son spends his time to find him and all the other little children sleeping peacefully on a mat, which was very cute. I know my son absolutely loves his key worker which is fantastic and he always gets fed very well indeed. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone who needs childcare, lovely little place.
