Culham Science Centre Nursery & Preschool is a warm happy and homely environment where the top priority is to have safe contented children. Owners believe the nursery should be about making friends and learning through play.

Staff are extremely important to children and the service ensures they are highly qualified and love little people.

The nursery has excellent purpose built facilities both indoors and outdoors, placing a great emphasis on spending lots of time outside in the fresh air. Culham Science Centre has an exceptional garden and staff use both the indoors and outdoors to deliver all areas of the early years curriculum to a high standard.

The team constantly strives to give children memorable experiences with exciting opportunities to learn through play that they might not always be able to do at home and of course give them the opportunity to make some of their first friends.

We've loved our time here, sad that our son is starting school, we will miss the nursery. The staff are brilliant, we are always amazed by what they do every day and how advanced he is compared to other children his age, I credit a lot of that to the team and the care and hard work they put in. I would
recommend the nursery to anyone, it's brilliant. He particularly enjoys lunch and tea time, the food sounds great, It's clear a lot of thought and care goes into everything! Great nursery and team.

Two of our children have been through this nursery since January 2016 (our youngest is still there) and we have been delighted with the levels of care and education they have received. From speaking to parents about other nurseries it is clear that these levels are extremely high. Our daughter left
Culham Science Centre Nursery a year ago and has really happy memories of her time there as well as the people that taught and cared for her and it is also obvious that our son loves being there too given that he wants to come in, even at the weekend! We could not ask for more - thank you!

My daughter has been at Culham Science Centre Nursery from 6 months old, she absolutely loves it, she is so far ahead of other children her age in terms of walking, understanding and reaching all her key milestones, she has recently moved from babies to toddler room and the continuity has been brilliant
she has bonded with the staff and they challenge her enough to keep her interested. It's such a wonderful place I would highly recommend. And the food, the kids eat better than I do.

Our son is very well looked after by all staff at Culham Science Centre Nursery & Preschool, and we have really noticed the impact of the learning and activities provided. We could not be happier. The care from all staff, quality of food provided and the safe environment leave us entirely assured that

My children absolutely love their days at Culham. They are happy, stimulated and cared for in a wonderful setting. The rooms are all fantastic and thoughtfully set up. The garden is the best around. So many activities and varied play areas. So many toys that no one ever seems to go without. The food
is excellent and they always eat really well. But the thing that really makes Culham stand out is the staff who are absolutely amazing. They are kind, attentive, caring and committed to the children in their care. Every day is planned so that the children get the most out of their time there. Right from day one my daughter's keyworker understood her needs and spent time and effort encouraging her so that she is so confident and happy and doesn't look back when I drop her off. My little boy settled in instantly. He adores his key workers and has a lovely bond with them all. I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful place to friends and family.

Outstanding in every regard. The staff have gone above and beyond what we could possibly have hoped for with care for our daughter. They have given her an incredible amount of support to help with her development and we are really delighted with her progress. Key workers and managerial staff have all
been fabulous in the help they have given us. We are looking forward to our next child attending. Thank you to the manager and staff- very highly recommended.

We were naturally slightly anxious for our daughter as she started nursery for the first time in January but our concerns were shortlived. In the past three months, her carers have gone above and beyond to help her settle into nursery life and have exceeded our expectations on all levels.
She now looks
forward to going to nursery and speaks fondly of her key carer on home days.
The food is excellent and she is trying and eating, often double portions of meals. She wouldn't even try at home.
We highly recommend Culham Nursery to any parents seeking care that meets all their child's developmental needs.

We have been so impressed with the care that has been provided to our son since he started.
He settled so well and adjusted quickly to the routines. Every day we get a thorough run through of the day and are always assured that he has had lots of fun and is learning lots of new things.

My son has been attending for 8 months and has always loved coming to nursery. The staff consistently know him, they always have a good understanding of his abilities, his likes, his dislikes and what's normal for him. They seem to genuinely care how he is doing and form relationships with him. He loves
it and is always happy at drop offs and pick ups.

Leaving my son for the day would never be easy - but Culham Nursery made it possible.
I know my son is in a very nice environment with other children around the same age.
He is cared for by some very well trained, caring and friendly staff.
The activities he participates in helps him thrive wonderfully.

We all absolutely love the nursery and my daughter has always been so happy here. She has grown so much since she's been there - in confidence, skills and personality, and I know the wonderful people at the nursery have made a massive contribution to this. Everyone we have come across at the nursery
has been so lovely and she has had brilliant key workers and room leaders throughout. I would highly recommend the nursery - from the people to the variety of activities for my daughter, the opportunities for parents to get involved in events. Everything has just been a great experience for us.

We are very pleased with this nursery. They do a lot of creative and fun activities that we couldn't easily do at home. The children's development is closely monitored and documented in detail. The staff members are well trained, very kind and helpful with any issues.
The nursery provides spacious
and lovely environments both indoors and outdoors.
Every time I pick up our little one, they look engaged and happy.

One of my sons is always happy to go into the nursery and gets a warm welcome from staff, who help him settle. He enjoys the range of educational and messy play activities. However, my other son struggled with inconsistent staffing (no key worker). A lack of stimulating activities and staff showed little
interest in him as an individual. Service levels vary hugely across different rooms and staff members.

I quote directly from your email to me on 8th June 2018 regarding your eldest Son's experience 'He has without doubt grown up a lot in the time he has been with you and his preschool experience has supported his development very well'.


You also made a special effort to praise the staff who worked directly with your youngest son and I quote again directly from your email to me on 3rd May 2018 'I wanted to take the opportunity to say a big thank you to B and the team in Wombles for looking after him so well. B made a particular impact as his key worker, and your son was always pleased to see her. It made drop-offs very easy. He has, without doubt, learned a lot in his time with you so far, and his obvious affection for B, H and the team is evidence of how well they have looked after him. As a parent it's reassuring to see how happy our boy is to go to nursery'.


Having never had a bad word to say about us in all the years you have been bringing your children to our nursery and then to write this less than positive review, without ever raising any of these issues with us, is a terrible shock and a huge disappointment to us.


I cannot understand your motivation to behave so positive and supportive of us and tell us one thing and write something completely different online.


My staff are exceptional and we are all extremely proud of the fantastic setting we have as evidenced by the rest of the reviews on this site.

We have had a great experience with all staff at the nursery. The facilities are always clean and well kept. The children also seem happy whenever you arrive/leave. Our little one has taken a little time to settle but staff are always reassuring and try their best to communicate with parents. I would
