Christopher Robin Day Nursery Burpham offers Montessori education in a safe, stimulating and fun environment so children feel secure and are able to grow and develop at their own pace. Set in fantastic grounds of a 1/3 of an acre, this well-established nursery has been providing childcare since 1994 and has easy access to and from the A3.

Christopher Robin Day Nurseries offer full day care for children aged three months to five years from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, all year. They are closed only for statutory bank holidays (currently eight per year) and for one week between Christmas and New Year.

Our child and us are very pleased with the experience at Burpham's Christopher Robin. The staff are always smiling and welcoming and you can really feel that they love working with kids. The facilities are clean, with a wide selection of toys and books. We all recommend this nursery.

My son loves going to Nursery and it’s definitely down to all the staff at Christopher Robin. All the team are lovely and so friendly, you can see they all really care about the children! They always take the time to let you know how your little one got on and what they did that day when you pick them
up. I would highly recommend this nursery!

The staff are generally fantastic from what I've seen over the last 15 months. They are very engaged with the children and make sure they learning and playing lots and lots through the day. Illnesses and knocks are handled well. Very useful having long opening times. My child always is happy going to
nursery in the morning.

My 2-year-old has been attending Christopher Robin in Burpham for a year and he adores his time at nursery. Goes in and comes out every day with a huge smile. His transition to the new class from the baby room was seamless. They do so many great activities and spend lots of time in the fabulous garden.
The staff are fantastic, lots of them including the manager have been there for years and years. Truly a brilliant nursery.

We have recently had a parents consultation meeting with our daughter's key worker. She has recently transitioned to the toddler room and has settled in quickly. The nursery built up her time in the room and she had already established relationships with the adults in the room before the move. It is
great to hear that the little girl they see in nursery is the one we see at home too. We couldn’t be happier!

We feel so lucky to have found such a caring nursery for our son. It has the largest outside space (by far) compared to other local nurseries, a really homely feel and the activities they spend time planning out for the children mean they get to experience so much more than we would probably attempt
at home!
They also organise stay and play sessions for parents, parents evenings to discuss development and even a Christmas ‘concert’ this year. You can tell that every one of the team genuinely cares about the difference they make. They take the time to understand each child, their interests and areas of support. The independent life skills our son has learnt from his teachers also continue to amaze us.
Our son runs straight through the door when I drop him off and is excited to tell us about his day when he comes home. From a shy, clingy boy when he started, he has really thrived at Christopher Robin Burpham. We would make the same decision in a heartbeat.

My daughter started at this nursery in September, I can honestly say she has settled in really well in Piglets. The staff have been brilliant with her, they were so welcoming and understanding with her settling in sessions and allowed her to have time to adjust before us leaving her when she needed
it. She’s now very confident with being left for the day and is always full of smiles when we come to pick her up! Thank you everyone for all your hard work!

My experience with Christopher Robin has been excellent from day one. The manager was so welcoming when showing me around the nursery and has always been friendly and helpful with anything I’ve needed since.
My son has been at the nursery for over a month now and he has settled in really well and
this is all down to the fantastic team in Kangas, especially his key worker. My son gets nervous with new people and new environments and his key worker has been fantastic at looking after him and ensuring he feels safe there. My son was at another nursery previously and he struggled to settle for weeks mainly due to inconsistencies with staff. The best thing about this nursery is how stable and consistent the team is and this creates a safe nurturing environment for the children. I would highly recommend Burpham Christopher Robin to anyone.

Brilliant! My daughter attended Christopher Robin Nursery in Burpham for almost 18 months and she loved every minute of it. The team are amazing and were so encouraging of her favourite activities, both in nursery and at home - they clearly care very much about the children and their progression. My
daughter's development whilst at the nursery was amazing, and she really did thrive there.
As a family, we moved to the northwest recently, and my daughter's new nursery has an awful lot to live up to. I cannot recommend this nursery enough.

Outstanding nursery, providing brilliant care. My daughter is thriving there, the daily activities help to develop my daughter's learning, as well as lots of free playtime. Always working together to make sure we are hitting the right targets. The staff care so much about the children, there is not

Our daughter started at nursery 2 years ago in the Piglets group and has recently moved up to the Tiggers group. The transition between classes was managed well, and the staff in each room are fantastic. They really care about the children and everyone knows everyone. The garden is amazing and they
spend lots of time outside, doing messy play, role play and sensory activities. We’ve had regular updates on her progress, been invited for stay and plays, and attended the summer fun day they hosted in the garden. The manager is brilliant, she knows all the kids and is always happy to help with ad hoc queries. Highly recommend them!

My child moved up to the biggest room, Tiggers, in the last month. The transition has been made very easy through the thorough and fun settling in sessions and the thoughtful care and attention of the staff. They have worked seamlessly between the two rooms to ensure the move has been a success. My
child loves attending and has enjoyed every moment being there. He has picked up a wide variety of skills, including bike riding, something we haven't been able to support with at home.

My daughter settled well. I love the photos and observations. The staff are very friendly.
Unfortunately, my daughter was given food containing food that she has an allergy to. The initial problem was with the caterer but staff still need to make sure they double-check the meals before being given
to the children with allergies.
The manager is always super helpful and positive.

Please accept our most sincere apologies for the error made with your daughter's dietary requirements; we know that the nursery team were extremely upset to have made this error and have personally apologised, however, we fully accept that this is something that should not have happened. Since the incident, we have made changes to our nursery food/dietary check procedures to ensure that as far as we are able the probability of human error is mitigated. These procedures have also recently been reviewed, updated and are in place across all our settings.

I was apprehensive about my daughter starting nursery at eight months, however after all those sleepless nights of worry I should not have worried. We are now two months into the journey and they have made both me and my daughter feel completely at ease. The girls in piglets are kind, caring, friendly
and genuinely care about the well-being of you, your family and most importantly your child. I have noticed so much progression in my daughters development and she is really striving! I would not hesitate to recommend!
