Christopher Robin Day Nursery Wood Street Village offers Montessori education in a safe, stimulating and fun environment.

The nursery offers full day care, all year-round, for children aged three months to five years and has first-class facilities with a wide range of activities and equipment indoors and out.

Excellent staff provide an exceptional level of care and ensure a happy atmosphere in which the children feel secure and able to grow and develop at their own pace.

Delicious, nutritionally-balanced food is offered as part of a varied menu.

Christopher Robin Day Nurseries offer full day care for children aged three months to five years from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, all year. They are closed only for statutory bank holidays (currently eight per year) and for one week between Christmas and New Year.

My little girl started when she was 18 months old, right through until she started school. The whole experience has been a joy. She has blossomed under the care of the Christopher Robin team and is confident, quick to learn and help others. We couldn't have asked for a better nursery. Thank you all

Christopher Robin staff have always been supportive throughout my daughter's 3 years attending the setting. My child is happy to come and the staff are attentive to her needs and know how to distract her at times when needed. I have been very happy with the setting and sad that she will be leaving to
attend school in September.

My child only attends CRWS (Christopher Robin Day Nursery) 1-day a week but has always been made to feel like part of the Christopher Robin family and has made lovely friends; children and staff. This month's activities included lots of outside time playing in the mud kitchen which I know she loves!
And rehearsing for the Christmas performance of 'shine star shine' which was fabulous - we all enjoyed it! I find the staff to be very caring and nurturing and I genuinely feel my daughter has matured at the end of a nursery day and overall from her nursery experience.

I am very happy with the way my daughter has been looked after. I trust the nursery and the staff which was quite hard for me as she was at another nursery before which was awful and she hated it. My daughter is always happy going to the nursery and has made friends and learnt a lot. I would highly
recommend this nursery to others.

A very friendly and caring team which created a lovely nurturing atmosphere with the nursery.
Continuity of staff is excellent, which has resulted in my son making very strong bonds with a lot of the carers. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Since the beginning, we have been hugely impressed with this nursery. The staff are warm, smiley and loving towards the children. Our daughter loves all the many different and varied activities that they do throughout the day. These have included baking, hand and foot painting, singing, reading and
numerous crafts to name just a few.
For us as parents, we feel assured that our daughter is given the input, attention and care that we want for her, which is all we could ask from a nursery.
The recent Christmas fair was just one example of how the nursery reaches out to parents.

Lovely nursery. Lovely staff. Would recommend this nursery to everyone.
My daughter's confidence and speech has come so far after only 3 months of attending for only one day a week. We are now putting her in twice a week and couldn't feel more comfortable knowing she is well looked after and loved.

This nursery is friendly and professional. They care beautifully not just for my girls but for the whole family. They have even been able to accommodate my babies special needs. They have been flexible with swap days (sometimes at short notice) for my big girl when I have suddenly been in hospital with
my baby girl. Can't say enough about how wonderful they are. This nursery is also lovely and clean with yummy food.

This is a great little nursery. There are three "rooms", each of which takes different age groups, thus activities are age appropriate. My daughter seems to really love being there, and I feel confident that she is well looked after and has fun whilst there. Very happy.

The staff are amazing with the children! It is very clear that they care for all of the children's individual needs and continue to help them progress and meet milestones.
They make it easy for me as a parent, to leave my child and go to work because I am confident they will go above and beyond for

This is my second child attending the group of Christopher Robin Day Nurseries and we have chosen it the second time around for good reason. We love the ethos of the Montessori approach. The children are valued, well cared for and allowed the independence to develop and grow into well-rounded young
children. They are allowed the freedom (with appropriate supervision) to learn basic day to day skills much earlier than I would have allowed at home, which has allowed our children to flourish without being held back. The staff give the children credit for what they are capable of despite how young they may seem. Most importantly, our daughter is very happy at the nursery and gets excited to go in each morning.


I've indicated "good" below for staff as there have recently been a number of staff changes, but even with this in mind, my daughter has always felt comfortable with the majority of staff she comes in contact with. Most of the staff are "excellent" from my perspective.

The staff are so friendly and helpful and genuinely care about the children in the nursery. My son has been so happy to come into nursery from 11 months old and chats about the staff and what he's been up tp during his days. he loves to give everyone a hug goodbye at the end of the day! The resources
are always clean, complete and the children are always busy with all sorts of lovely things when I drop my son off. I feel happy and confident that my son is well cared for, stimulated and settled in this nursery and I will be so sad when the time comes for school, nursery is such a big part of his life!

My son has attended for 18 months, since 11 months old. He loves the staff and there is a positive, happy and energetic atmosphere there. We are very happy with the care provided and the service given to parents. Would not hesitate to recommend.

An exceptional nursery! I feel totally comfortable leaving my son in their care. He has developed and learnt so much since being there. All the staff are fun, caring and really show great love to the children. Would happily recommend anyone.
