Our youngest son loves Goslings as much as his older brother did when he was there. Having viewed several nurseries in the local area, my husband and I chose Goslings over the others mainly because of the staff and the culture they nurture there. And they have exceeded our expectations! Goslings is
such a special place; so gentle and caring, yet stimulating and a lot of fun with a varied timetable of activities that focus on a whole range of skills for the children to practise and familiarise themselves with. It's an excellent pre-school and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

A safe and stimulating environment for the children. My daughter enjoyed going to Goslings and loved the staff. She always came home happy. She learnt a lot and was ready for school when she finished nursery. They gave us feedback every day and showed us what the children had been doing at the end of
each term. Lovely nursery overall.

To say my son loves attending Goslings would be a massive understatement, so much so that he starts nagging to go back from breakfast time every Saturday. Goslings was his second nursery and it was instantly noticeable that his enthusiasm for learning increased from day one. Every pickup was accompanied
by a commentary on the many activities he'd taken part in that day - everything from bug hunting in the garden to drawing, cutting with scissors and at the end of the day letting off steam on the "ride-ons" in the large hall. The love and care shown to the children is palpable and time is always taken at the end of the day for face-to-face feedback - invaluable for helping my son overcome hurdles and encouraging him further where he was having successes. Sending my son to Goslings is probably the best choice I've made for him and I don't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

As a mother, I was worried about my child going to nursery after being home during covid and not having that interaction with other children and unknown adults but I can confidently say that all the teachers made my son feel very welcome and after a week, he was bounding into the nursery. There is always
themed activities planned each week and crafts around the various events in the year (Easter, Mother’s Day etc). The garden is always set up differently each day so the children don’t get bored like water play, sand play, cars etc. when the children are in the garden there is always a teacher with them and they carry a first aid pouch with them for those little accidents. The garden has shade and my son particularly likes planting flowers/vegetables as well as the toilet bell if he needs a toilet (we do this at home now). The teachers are very accommodating and always contactable. All the teachers are brilliant but a special mention to one member of staff, in particular, who has endless enthusiasm and energy. Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic pre-school. Not only does my little one love going in, every day she is coming home with something new she has learnt. The care and love she gets from all of the staff is exactly what I was looking for when looking around nurseries. The manager and her team are fabulous and I could
not rate Goslings highly enough!

My son has excelled hugely from his time at The Gosling Nursery School. The staff team are always accommodating, professional and friendly and provides good constructive feedback. I have been impressed with The Gosling Nursery School since the initial phone call right the way through my child's journey
at the nursery and would recommend it to any local parent.

My daughter has thrived since starting at The Gosling Nursery School, she simply loves going. All the teachers are so caring and make it a lovely place to be for children. At Goslings the children get to do a wide range of activities, my daughter not only has fun while she attends but is also learning
lots while at The Gosling Nursery School. I really appreciate getting to know how she is getting on regularly and what she has been doing while at the school. Myself and my husband are so happy we chose to send our daughter to this school.

Goslings is a warm and nurturing place. Despite and change in management and ownership, they have managed to retain the magic and special nature of the setting. I think this is largely due to the staffing (both old and new) and the legacy of the previous owner. All the staff are kind, caring, and have
a genuine interest in the children's development (it feels personal). It feels like a place of (fun) learning and education and not just a childcare provider. The children are shown how to be kind to each other and behaviour is well managed. Independence is encouraged (eg toileting). I also like how their interests are used for learning opportunities. Both formal and informal communication is good and I feel that I am kept abreast of key developments and told informal nice little snippets about my son's day. The limited outdoor space is used to good effect with the gardening and lots of hands-on activities. The large indoor space more than makes up for it too.

Our daughter has been attending The Goslings Nursery School for a term and previous to this our eldest child enjoyed 3 wonderful years there. When I drop my little girl off in the mornings we are greeted by two of the teachers who are always smiling and full of energy. They always ask how she is and
welcome her in warmly. At the moment we can’t go in with her, as I used to with my eldest, but when I pick her up she’s full of excitement and tells me things like “they're so silly in the garden” and “she made my hurt better.” I love it when I pick her up and the teachers tell me little moments that have made them laugh during the day - it makes us feel that when she is in their care she is valued as a person in her own right and they appreciate all the little things about her that make her unique.

The teachers at The Gosling Nursery School have been wonderful with our daughter. They go above and beyond to make the children happy, they’re extremely understanding and supportive. There’s always a huge variety of activities for the children and we especially love the jotter pads the teachers create
from the children’s work throughout each term.
They’ve recently been talking about worries and emotions which has really helped our daughter. I honestly can’t fault them and look forward to my son attending when he’s old enough.

I’d like to take the opportunity to provide some parental feedback on The Goslings Nursery School which my 3-year-old twin daughters have attended three mornings a week since January 2021.
One of my daughters has frequently displayed challenging behaviour both within and outside of the nursery setting
and the staff and management team have been totally supportive at working with me to suggest techniques to assist her in managing her emotions. We continue to work on this together, and I’m regularly asked for my opinion as to how it is going and given encouragement and support. They are honest in discussing the issues and I don’t feel like they are judging either my daughter or myself negatively.
Both of my daughters love going into nursery each day. They run in, screaming with excitement, hug their favourite staff members and don’t give me a second thought. Exactly how I want it to be.
