Knowle Green Day Nursery is a purpose built, spacious day nursery of the highest quality, with four main play areas and additional sleeping areas. The nursery has a warm, caring and friendly atmosphere, with a team of qualified and experienced practitioners providing a happy sociable environment where all children are treated as individuals. They have also obtained their Eco-schools Green Flag.

All age groups have access to individual enclosed garden areas which offer a wide range of activities and learning opportunities to help to promote children's social, emotional and physical development. There is also a large woodland area which all children are able to use for natural play.

Open from 7.00 to 6.30 and with a fully inclusive package, Knowle Green offers a comprehensive and convenient service to parents.

Both my children have been at the nursery over the last four years. Going to work is so much easier knowing that they are safe, happy and loved by the staff.


They both learnt a great deal, particularly in preschool and have/will start school well equipped.

The nursery organised a trip to a pantomime for my son's class. He was very excited to tell us all about the princess and the witch. Also how they had to hold hands to get on the train. I was very pleased the nursery had gone to such effort to organise a fun day trip. A lovely memory for their last
Christmas at their nursery.

Both my children (aged 1 and 3) years attend Knowle Green Day Nursery (Staines), they are both extremely happy and love nursery days. They both love the staff and come home well fed and worn out from a day of fun.

I would highly recommend Knowle Green Day Nursery (Staines), I have been pleased with everything since my daughter started. The staff and key workers are brilliant and very personal. My daughter seems very happy there and it’s lovely seeing what they get up to each week.

My son has been at Knowle Green since he was 11 months old and I have seen him grow and develop at every room move. He enjoys his time at nursery, which is what you want to see. The staff are great, always receptive to feedback and open and honest.

I continue to be very pleased with the support my two children are receiving from the nursery and particularly the help of their keyworkers in assisting them to settle in after we spent time living abroad. Knowle Green nursery is wonderful, set in scenic environment, with enthusiastic, passionate staff. I am impressed with the level of service and care provided to my daughter who started at 14 months. She has now settled well into the Ladybird class. As a part-time working mother, the transition to the
life of nursery has been eased by the professional manner conducted by all at Knowle Green Nursery.

My son is being cared for in the nursery very well. He has been happy from the start. We started nursery when he was seven months and I must say that the staff are very friendly, caring and have always made sure they tell us what happened during the day (no matter how many times you call them when you
are worried). I strongly recommend Knowle Green to any parent. Also, they have many activities that encourage them to explore the world around them.

I've used this nursery for the last six years for my three children. The kids have loved every minute of their time here, and I think that reflects on the staff who are excellent and happy to go the extra mile for the kids. The management team also deserve praise for their leadership of the nursery,
and their desire to see that each child achieves its potential.

The staff at Knowle Green Day Nursery (Staines) have been amazing with my son settling in. They have contacted me a few times throughout the day to reassure me that he was fine. I have found ever since my son started nursery he has become more social with other children and adults and his speech has

We've sent both of our girls to Knowle Green and can honestly say we have loved the experience. The girls have attended every room from Caterpillars all the way up to Pre-School and each key worker has looked after the girls as their own.


The care Knowle Green takes to develop the children truly

stands out and each room has been designed carefully to engage and grow the children appropriately.


The girls also loved the school trips and always talk fondly of their adventures on the train to the theatre or green grocers! Thank you Knowle Green team - we won't hesitate to recommend you!

Knowle Green Childbase Nursery has been fantastic for our daughter. We are in our 4th room and the support and development have been excellent. The facilities are very good and the new and improved garden is lovely. I couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough.

So far I have been so impressed with the care my daughter has received. Everytime I leave the nursery I feel 100% comfortable that she ie looked after and safe. She loves her key worker and it makes me happy knowing she has someone there who she feels comfortable with. All the nursery workers/nurses
seem gentle and happy toward the children.

MY daughter started at the nursery a few months ago and loves it. From the girls in the rooms to the management and even the cooks, everyone is friendly, helpful and makes you feel welcome. The confidence my daughter has gained is incredible in such a short space of time, she is learning new things
daily.
I put 100% trust in leaving my daughter at Knowle Green, as I know she is in safe hands. It makes the drive from London to Staines worth it.
The only negative I can think of is, when my daughter does baking, I would quite like her to make me something too.
I couldn't recommend it enough.

Chanelle Weaver

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Chanelle is the Manager of the award-winning Knowle Green Day Nursery in Staines and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the Early Years sector for over 20 years.


She has a Foundation degree in Early Childhood Studies, she also had training for the emotional well-being practitioner, behaviour management and SENDco.


Chanelle has recently started working at Childbase Partnership.


What is your favourite feature of Knowle Green?
The nursery has large outdoor environments individual to each room and a large woodland area to extend the outdoor learning following the woodland play programme.


What are you most proud of about your nursery?
The long-standing members of staff, with some working here for over 20 years are amazing.
