Fantastic nursery, the staff are so welcoming, friendly and engaged all the time, and the manager is a delight and always happy to answer any questions/concerns.
Between my son and daughter, I have had children here for 2.5 years, and the staff have hardly changed during that whole time - a testament
to how dedicated they are, and what a nice environment there is at the nursery. They acted impeccably during March-July 2020 and also held places open for as long as needed when they reopened to enable parents to feel confident putting children back into the nursery environment.
My son loves going every day and asks to go even on his days off. They have such interesting full days and get outside almost every day no matter the weather as they have such a lovely setting overlooking meadows at the back. The onsite kitchen and chef produce a wide variety of foods every day.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to everyone!

Our little one is in one of the baby rooms at Busy Bees at Godalming. We were nervous for him to start nursery, especially with all things Covid going on, however, all the staff have been great and put us at ease. The team are so caring and approachable. The facilities and outdoor space are fantastic
- especially the field out the back for when they are a little older. The activities they put on for festivals such as Halloween and Bonfire Night have been lovely. We're kept up to date with weekly update emails, can see how much our little one has eaten/slept etc on the app and have daily catch ups with the staff in the baby room. I would definitely recommend.

Our two children of 15 months and 3 and a half years old attend your nursery. We have been very impressed with the way the Covid pandemic has been skillfully handled as children's play and socialising hasn't been affected at all. Parents have been kept very well informed of nursery procedures and expectations
in order to protect the children, staff and families of the nursery.
The younger of the two started your nursery in August and hasn't yet shed tears at drop off. When his sister attends on a Friday without him, at drop off he seems displeased to be going home for mummy day. Sure evidence of how much fun he is having at nursery!
She has settled into the Foundation room well and she is very happy coming to nursery. Her learning is expanding rapidly and the nursery offers our family lots of feedback in ways that we can support and underpin this. I am confident that come September 2021 she will be school ready. Thank you for all your outstanding efforts nursery staff.

Particularly over the last few months during COVID, the team at the nursery have been flexible and accommodating to our needs. The facilities are excellent and superior to other nurseries I visited especially for the babies, and the staff are lovely, experienced and really friendly - my daughter loves
going to nursery. The Manager communicates and manages the nursery very well. I am very happy with the nursery and would highly recommend it to anyone.

I can’t express how happy we are that our daughter attends Busy Bees at Godalming Bridge Road. She is so happy in the foundation class and daily tells us ‘i love foundation!’ which makes us so relieved when we leave her on the three days she goes. She has made great relationships with her carers over
the last two years and she was very happy to go back to see them after lockdown. There is a great balance between playing and being little but also learning in preparation for school next year. They have 3 early years teachers in the foundation class which I think is an added bonus! The staff are like a family and we are sad that it's her final year at the nursery! Thank you Godalming Bridge Road for making nursery life easy for us and settling her back in so well after lockdown.

We are just so pleased with our choice of nursery for our son. He joined Busy Bees Godalming when he was 9-months-old and is now 20-months-old and his development and personality has been a pleasure to watch; I am adamant that a lot of his development comes from his time at nursery.
The staff are
incredible and really care. They are very knowledgeable and always available if you have issues/concerns- they are like extended family to us! A truly great nursery!

Busy Bees Nursery at Godalming Bridge Road has been fantastic for my son. The outside space is wonderful, lovely varied and healthy meals. He really enjoys going to foundation class and learning new things.

Our daughter joined in Oct 2019, but we were initially nervous about our daughter's return to nursery after twelve weeks in lockdown. Over this period she had become upset and resistant to leaving her mum and me, so it was a great relief when she saw the manager and her key workers with big smiles and
a huge hug telling us how much she was genuinely missed. The staff have been incredibly supportive and having now changed to a new class I can honestly say she feels the same towards her new key workers, which she has grown equally very fond of. This having been said most of the team know her by name and always greet her with a huge smile and she is now happy to wave with a big cheeky smile at the and of each day (something she won't do with just anyone). I would thoroughly recommend the nursery to others and am so pleased that we chose Busy Bees for her, she is incredibly happy and thriving there. The staff and the facilities really set the nursery apart. Keep up the good work team!

My two boys have started attending nursery at Godalming Bridge Road over the last 8 months and I couldn’t be happier with the nursery. All the staff are so friendly and professional. They genuinely care for the children and give you a detailed account in person of how your child got on each day. Management
are excellent. Constantly updating us via email and in person of any events coming up. There is such a lovely atmosphere at this nursery. My two boys are extremely happy and well looked after.

I couldn't be happier we chose Busy Bees, Bridge Road! Both our boys go there 2 and 4 and the staff have been like a 2nd family. Our eldest is moving on to school in September and I'll be sad to see him go because he always comes home beaming from ear to ear. Our youngest will stay on until he is ready
for school and the key workers are like family. Both our boys have developed massively since joining and it’s a fantastic and friendly place to turn up every morning with a great team of people and great facilities, field, playground and activities to keep them busy and educated! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nursery!

I can not recommend this nursery enough. Despite the challenges faced with lockdown the staff have worked tirelessly to look after my son and be flexible around the changing work patterns I have faced.
It has been the highlight of my day picking my son up from nursery and seeing just how happy he is.
I can see from the way he interacts with the staff and how, in turn, they respond to him that he is cared and loved.
I feel confident that they anticipate his needs, encourage his development and provide a fun and nurturing environment. Thank you.

I just wanted to record how extremely grateful we are to the team at Bridge Road for making the return to nursery this week such a happy experience for our two children. What an enormous relief for us as parents to see both of them marching in each morning delighted to be back with their friends and
basking in the love and attention that they get from the staff who appeared to have genuinely missed them during lockdown. As a teacher myself, I totally get how difficult the current circumstances make operating schools and nurseries but I have been genuinely impressed by the care and common sense that the team have shown in adapting and making the children feel welcome and comfortable. My eldest has attended the nursery for 4 years and I have always been extremely happy with the way he and his little sister have been looked after. But the response in these particular circumstances has exemplified the quality of care they offer. Well done Bridge Road team: good job! And thank you!

My daughter started at this nursery in November 2018 and had gradually made her way through two of the rooms Fah and Lah. I was initially nervous with my daughter starting nursery as she can be emotional when leaving me or her mum but also challenging! Luckily the staff have been supportive and amazing
towards her and she has grown very fond of her key worker and carers, particularly the Manager. The activities they provide are a great variety and my daughter is endlessly bringing home paintings, which we love! The outside areas are amazing for a child who is very physical too. We would recommend Major Minors to anyone! Thank you MM team.

Returning to work after maternity leave and needing childcare for my son seemed daunting. Luckily for me and my boy, the staff took him under their wing and made him feel right at home. He loves going to nursery and gets excited in the car on the way. It feels like a home from home and I know he’s in
good hands. After having been here for 6 months I am certain we made the right decision for my son's development, education and upbringing.

The staff are very good at making children feel welcome. My son took a couple of weeks to settle but is now always happy to go in. The management team are so friendly and put you at ease straight away. I would recommend this nursery to everyone.

Her big brother was there from eleven months to three and a half years and loved it.

My daughter (3) and son (1) both attend four days a week.
I am very happy with how they are both cared for. My son settled in just one week and I know how much the carers adore him. I have no concerns and know both of their needs are met.
They both love going to nursey and enjoy their days there.
My daughter loves to play and learns a lot through the setting. The quality and variety of food is very good.

My son loves going to Major Minors! They look after him very well and the standard of care is excellent. They build in different activities each day, all focused on his personal development. They spend a lot of time outdoors which is refreshing to see in the summer months.


The only one comment is

that during pick up it can sometimes feel disjointed and more often than not, I am unable to talk to anyone who has been with him all day. And parent zone isn’t necessarily updated so won’t give me the information I need.


Overall, highly recommended.

I was thoroughly impressed with my recent visit to Major Minors. As soon as I arrived, there was a warm welcome and I felt immediately comfortable. My little girl (15 months) was with me at the time and the staff made every effort to interact with her as well as me.
The building was beautifully decorated
and it appeared that the amenities and toys were great also. One of the nicest nurseries I've seen/been to in a while.

My Son started at Minor Majors in Jan this year and the staff have been absolutely amazing. The activities they do everyday are always so much fun! He is so happy to get to nursery every morning and always wants to go to his key person.
I must also make a comment about the food...Its brilliant!! I
have had to ask for all the recipes as my fussy little eater is enjoying pretty much everything that is made.

Hello,


I look forward to welcoming you to our nursery and supporting your child along their learning journey. 
I have been working in the childcare sector for 22 years and hold a diploma in Childcare and Education alongside many other certificates in childcare. I have worked in a number of nurseries local to Godalming, working my way up from nursery practitioner to Deputy Manager and then Nursery Manager. Most of my experience as a Deputy Manager was gained here at Busy Bees and I am very glad to return as Centre Director. My vision for the nursery is to provide the highest standards of care and education.
Outside my role as Nursery Manager, I enjoy going to the theatre and going walking with my family and my fiancé. I’m also a very proud Mummy and Aunty.


I have always been passionate about childcare and my commitment to providing exceptional care and education in the Early Years has been at the forefront of my career. My favourite thing about my job is that I am able to see children achieve and develop into confident, lifelong, learners.
