Walton Montessori offers a child-friendly environment for two to five-year-olds, which follows the Montessori Philosophy of encouraging independent learning.

Each child has their own targets, which they work towards with support from qualified Early Years practitioners. At Walton Montessori Pre-School they also follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which is an early years curriculum for children from birth to five-years-old. Children are all assigned a key person and will be taught individually by all the motivated staff across both rooms.

Every member of staff is passionate about child development and work at Walton Montessori for the love of their profession. Staff try and instil a caring, stimulating environment where the children can feel happy and will naturally learn from their experiences. peers and adults.

Children's learning is individually tailored to what they are able to do and the team are constantly challenging the children's abilities, ensuring they are ready to move on to their next big step in learning when they transition to reception class at primary school.

My son was happy in total. They helped him to get his own abilities and to improve his english. Maybe activities could be more appropriate than the usual activities. But were happy with our teachers. They were really lovely. Thank you very much

Walton Montessori Nursery is a fantastic nursery, with lots of activities and learning opportunities, it's really helped our child's development. All the staff and management have been really supportive and welcoming to us as a family. Sadly we are moving away from the area, otherwise we would have
loved for our child to stay here for the rest of his time before school.

My son started Walton Montessori and we have seen a lot of good changes in him. He has learned lots of new things, he has become much more confident. I highly recommend this nursery to anyone who is looking to enrol their child into nursery. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

The teachers and the management teams are all very well prepared and dynamic, but also able to provide a very caring and nurturing environment. Our child was 12 months old when he joined and has learnt a lot with them, and most importantly this nursery has been a happy place for him to go in the morning.
Staff attentive to details, which is essential at this age.

Our youngest has spent the last 3.5 years at the nursery and has loved it. The staff have been consistently great and they provide clear updates and photos each week to show all the fun stuff they have been doing. Their garden area is great and they use it lots and communication is always good from
the leadership. Would definitely recommend.

My children have both attended Walton Montessori, the younger one having gone from the baby room all the way up to graduating from preschool in two weeks. I've absolutely loved their time there and they are happy to go in. The teachers and staff are wonderful, so caring and supportive. The key workers
have worked with my children through every growth, every transition and been so helpful and supportive.

Both my daughter and son went to nursery here and have had a great experience. They settled really quickly and in every class they were in, the staff have all been amazing. The activities they do with the children are so varied, they have a big outdoor space and forest school and we were given regular
updates and observations on how they were doing. The staff are super attentive - so much so that they were the ones that picked up when my daughter wasn't breathing normally during her nap (which ended up with a hospital stay but caught early thanks to the staff being so caring and observant). Would 100% recommend it!

My son and daughter have both been extremely well looked after at Walton Montessori and we all feel part of the family. They have loads of fun in the big garden and forest school, and doing theatre bugs! My daughter has additional needs and staff have been very attentive and caring, making time to discuss
strategies often with myself and my partner, and have helped us so much in so many ways. We are so grateful, and so glad we found Walton Montessori. It really is a special place.

My daughter started at Walton Montessori two months before she turned three.
I was anxious about her starting nursery and expected it to be a traumatic and long settling-in period due to her strong attachment to me.
She has settled in so smoothly and well it took less than two months thanks to the
nurturing environment created by the team.
I can't express my satisfaction and gratitude enough for the care and support provided to her by her teachers.
I must especially highlight the invaluable role of her key person.
The key person's care, love, support, and positivity have had a huge impact on my daughter's settling in at the nursery.
Her regular observations and feedback have been incredibly informative and reassuring for me as a parent. Her enthusiasm and dedication are truly remarkable.
Great work and a huge thank you to everyone at Montessori!

After a year at Walton Montessori, our child still runs to the door every day to go in. It’s our child’s 4th childcare setting and 3rd nursery.
It’s a great place that we’d recommend to anyone.
The learning while having fun approach is spot on and the outdoors spaces they have are a real bonus.

A bustling and social nursery. The staff seem so happy and their manner with the children is loving. Varied activities to stimulate the children. Often arranging events to integrate the parents. I was reassured by the various cultures celebrated, the male to female staff ratio and the quality of chef-cooked
food. My eldest is a tough nut to crack; she did not settle with the childminder and was often off nursery due to illness. Yet, she did settle and become very fond of the professionals. My only concern was how onerous the app updates must feel for employees.

Wonderful nursery. The staff are amazing and really go above and beyond to make the children's days fun, interesting and educational. They have a lovely forest school area, so the children get to whittle little pencils and make hot chocolate whilst in nature. Our daughter absolutely loved it here, and
her speech and development have been amazingly fast as a result. Lovely community feel and also places to park your car and leave your buggies too. Highly recommend!

The nursery has been an amazing experience for my son and us as parents. Loving and caring staff, lots of activities with and for children. Kids grow and develop in a safe and comfortable environment. The app also helps parents to get updates on their baby's daily activities. If not for the relocation,
we'd love to stay here until school and bring other (future) siblings here too. Amazing!

Both my children attend Walton Montessori Nursery and are incredibly happy there. The people at Montessori absolutely make this nursery, everyone from the experienced leadership team to newly qualified staff are knowledgeable, caring and friendly. Whatever we've managed to throw at them - illness, accidents,
birthdays, refusing to wear shoes, potty training or just sending children in after a terrible night's sleep, the manager and her team are unflappable and nothing is ever too much trouble.

Overall this is a good nursery, with a particular positive being the friendly staff, who are absolutely fantastic with the kids!
It is convenient to drop off and pick up, with parking being available most of the time (when selfish locals don’t block the parent spaces!)
There is a good focus on a varied
food menu, with special occasions being celebrated with themed food.
The forest school and outside area were a key factor in my choosing the nursery, they are blessed with excellent facilities in this respect.
I find it hard to comment on resources/equipment as parents aren’t allowed into the nursery, so I’m not really sure what they have in this respect, but there always seems to be plenty of activities and themed play organised.
Overall, lots of positives and the staff are such a strong element of this nursery!

A wonderful, safe place to leave my daughter. She goes in happy and leaves happy. We get ample updates during the day which is reassuring and inclusive. The range of activities my daughter is involved in is incredible. Can’t fault it!

My daughter goes to Walton Montessori and I will have no hesitation sending my second one here this year too! A wonderfully nurturing environment with fantastic staff. The people who work at the nursery are all so caring. They do such nice things with them. My daughter comes home singing songs she has learned. Now she is settled, she basically runs through the door every morning excited to go.
