Both of my children have attended Denton Island Nursery from a very young age (1 year old and 7 months old). They are now 4 years old and 2.5 years old). This is THE nursery for any child and even the most demanding parents. Incredible team who look after all the children as if they were their own.
The management team are outstanding too, always ready to go the extra mile for both the children and the parents. I have had an incredible amount of support from this nursery including a personalised safety plan for the children and myself that helped us feel safe and understood in difficult times. I kept my children at Denton Island despite moving outside of town a year ago just because I knew how much they (and I!) loved it there.
If you're looking for safety, professionalism, family feel, support and a second home for your child there is no other place to look.

Both my daughters have been here. The staff are friendly and I feel like the children are well looked after with the correct policies in place and being followed. They prepped my daughter well for school, she is already ahead of the other children in her class.

Our daughter started nursery a very shy and withdrawn little girl. Her first months being in lockdown had a big effect on her. The first few days of nursery were hard, but within a week or two, she completely changed. She now runs in without a backward glance. She's come out of herself completely and
her personality shines brightly. The staff are amazing with her and she loves going into nursery now. Her speech has come on leaps and bounds, she counts, loves nursery rhymes and her alphabet.
I couldn't recommend this nursery more! They have worked wonders with our little girl. We were thinking of moving her to the nursery at our other children's school for convenience but have since changed our minds and decided to leave her at Denton Island Nursery because she loves it and is so happy there.
We couldn't thank them enough.

My Son has been attending Denton Island Nursery since the beginning of this year and he absolutely loves it! We looked at nurseries closer to home as I am unable to drive but nothing compared to Denton Island Nursery. Excellent setting, lots of space and an amazing garden for the older children! Staff
are lovely and caring (most have been there years which is another reason which sold it to us!) My son has never had an issue going in and always happy when he comes home (he never wants to leave!)

I went to visit many nurseries, some graded outstanding, but as soon as I visited Denton Island Nursery, I knew it was the one. I have been teaching 14 years and could see how much the staff here care. All are so warm and caring and welcome my little girl with a huge smile. They take a genuine interest
and know her really well. They plan really fun activities. The communication is fantastic, I get lots of photos of what she has been up to and if I ever email, I get a very fast reply. I couldn't be happier my little girl has a place. I also thought the transition to start nursery and to move to the toddler room was very individual and planned well. I like that she has started to use the outside space more now in their bigger garden.
