Busy Bees Brighton offers five spacious, bright and beautiful childcare rooms across the three floors in the fully converted Edwardian house. Each of these rooms are well equipped with age-appropriate activities and resources to cater for each child’s needs and interests to ensure that their mind and body stay active every day. The nursery benefits from a soft playroom and sensory room which are available for all childcare ages to enjoy.

There is a large outdoor area where the children can explore and develop their interest in nature in addition to their self-esteem and self-confidence. Whether your child is exploring the outdoors or enjoying the fun-filled activities indoors, there is something for every child to enjoy so that they have the best time at nursery.

The nursery offers a high 1:2 ratio for all babies under 14 months, which enables them to settle into nursery life and develop bonds in a secure environment. The baby room also has its own secure, outdoor play area.

Our eldest child has just left Busy Bees Brighton preschool ready to start school in September. He had been at Busy Bees since he was 14 months old and has absolutely thrived in their care. The staff are all wonderful, really caring and nurturing. There is a fantastic group of children who all have
such a close bond. It really is lovely to see. The garden the huge and the children have a lot of outdoor play time. There seems to be the perfect mix of learning and free play. He will definitely miss the time spent with them. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to other parents.

My daughter started at Busy Bees Brighton in March and has absolutely loved every minute since. My daughter is on the spectrum (autism) and has a lot more specific needs and requires a lot more adult support to which I cannot thank the staff enough for all they have done. Every member of staff I have
come across have welcomed my daughter with open arms and have always been extremely polite to both me and my partner at drop offs and pick ups.
Her key worker has really gone above and beyond to make sure she is happy and settled and her needs are tended to. My daughter runs into nursery with enthusiasm and leaves just as happy as when she arrived. They take the children to the park for walks, they get plenty of time outside in the garden and they have endless resources and toys for the children to explore.
Management have always been efficient with booking in extra sessions if needed and are always there to support you with any questions or queries.
Overall, super happy.

A very friendly and supportive environment. From our first visit to now, we have felt so welcomed. Our daughter has flourished in the 6 months she has been there with good communication from the teachers and admin staff. We appreciate the constant they have been for our daughter.
The meals always
sound so tasty and varied when I get told about what was for lunch and I’ve watched as my daughter has eaten and explored more with food since being there.

This nursery has great facilities, but the staff are amazing! They are accommodating, friendly and engaging to children's and parents' needs. Both our children are better for the impact that all the staff have had on them. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

My daughter has been going to Busy Bees for around 3 years. She has always loved it and always comes home with a smile on her face. She also role plays a lot of what she does at nursery (group time, meal time, being the special helper) at home with us.
The staff are lovely, they are always happy to
chat/give advice and also seem invested in my daughter and ensuring she develops and grows.
I would 100% recommend the nursery, I can’t fault them!

Both my children attend Busy Bees Brighton, and both love it there. I know they are extremely well looked after by the amazing team of staff. We get regular updates throughout the day including photos and observations. The staff take an interest in what the children like doing, and create activities
based around their interests. The food is great, all homemade on site. The garden space is lovely and split off with a special area just for the smaller ones.
I can’t recommend Busy Bees highly enough. My eldest will shortly be leaving to go to school, and we will all look back on her nursery years very fondly.

My son has attended Busy Bees for 3 years, he loves all of the staff and enjoys going every day. The garden is lovely, management is great. My son’s additional needs have been managed really well over the years at Busy Bees, nothing is too much trouble and they have been so supportive.

A wonderful nursery. My boy has verbal communication delay and different interests to a lot of the children but the carers are lovely with him and give him all the patience and attention he needs.
They have a garden and a soft play room and different rooms based on age groups. The staff are very communicative
and all very friendly.

All the staff at Busy Bees at Brighton have been amazing with my daughter since she joined in June 2020 at the age of 16 months.
My daughter loves her days at nursery and has gained invaluable social skills since her time there. We get regular updates throughout the day and I love seeing pictures of
what my daughter gets up to!
If I have any worries at all, the staff at Busy Bees are always available to put my mind at ease and help out as much as they can.
They have been brilliant throughout the Covid pandemic and have made sure the safety of everyone is their top priority.
I would highly recommend the nursery to any prospective parents.

My daughter has loved her time at Busy Bees, she started in the baby room and has really flourished and grown in confidence moving up through the nursery. All the staff are fantastic and provide an excellent level of care. Having all the meals provided makes life as a working mum much easier.

We love Busy Bees. My daughter joined when she was one and formed some amazing bonds with the carers in her room. Two years down the line and she’s in the pre-school room and loving all the stimulation. She also enjoys having free flow access to the garden and the walks to the local park. The staff
are friendly and helpful and the manager is always visible and available.

Our daughter goes to Busy Bees and we are delighted with the support they offer! She has been welcomed into the team, and the staff have been so kind and supportive throughout, and have really taken the time to get to know her. Since starting in September last year, we have seen her language and confidence
grow so much, and we see how happily and easily she starts her day there which gives us such peace of mind.

My son loves attending the nursery and always looks forward to arriving and seeing his friends. He enjoys the garden, which has plenty to keep him occupied and comes home most days having learnt something new. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the whole place has a nice feel to it. Our daughter
has now joined and has already taken a liking to the staff in her room. We are kept up to date of news via email and a regular newsletter is sent out to let us know about special days or events at the nursery. We would definitely recommend this nursery to our friends or family.

Since our twin daughters started at Busy Bees just four months ago, they have come along in leaps and bounds. Progressive and inclusive, the nursery really makes sure that we, the parents, are made to feel involved with all aspects and the affection for our daughters that's shown by the carers makes
us feel secure when dropping them off at the start of the day.
The girls have been shepherded with care and attention from the baby class to the toddler class and, most importantly, seem to really enjoy themselves when they are there.

My daughter settled in so well in the pre-school. The staff were amazing during her settling sessions. The garden is huge and she loves playing outside with her friends. She loves going on the walks to Preston Park and constantly chats about what she has done during the day. We have been very impressed

This nursery is perfect for my son. He has such a close bond with the staff and especially his key worker. All the staff are friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to say 'hello' and play with my child. We had tried a couple of nurseries in the past, I am so glad we found Busy Bees at Brighton,
the environment and staff are brilliant, this is giving our son the best experience, so thank you.

The manager and the team at Busy Bees are fantastic, we have been very impressed and happy from day one.


The nursery provides a very calm environment, notably more so than other nurseries we looked into and all aspects of the nursery are excellent, from the food through to the early learning activities

and the community fostered by the nursery team.


Our daughter loves Busy Bees and is flourishing from the stimulation she receives.

I have been transferred from the Training Department of Busy Bees but my journey in childcare has originally started over 8 years ago.
