Elan Day Nursery is passionate about providing the best possible care for your child, in an exciting environment that offers a wide range of activities and experiences based on nationally recognised educational and developmental standards.

Children’s rooms are well equipped with good quality toys and furniture and there is a large studio for indoor physical play. The setting is also situated very close to Clare Hall Park enabling practitioners to take the children on walks to local places of interest every day.

Staff are experienced and qualified practitioners, dedicated to caring for your child in a safe, modern and stimulating environment.

All meals are cooked freshly on the premises each day. The Chef is trained to ensure a healthy balanced menu is delivered taking into consideration individual children’s dietary needs.

Management operate an ‘Open Door’ policy to encourage parent partnership. They are committed to providing the best care and education for each individual child and believe curiosity about their world is fundamental to early learning.

My oldest son went from baby room through to pre-school at Elan, and my youngest is now in Explorers. Both my boys are so happy there, smiles from drop off to collection. The staff are friendly, happy and caring. There isn't much outdoor space at the nursery, but great that they get to the park every
day. They have a really varied day and mix of activities.

Thank you for your review. You're right, our outdoor space is limited but we are soon renovating the space we have and add a variety of activities to create a 'big, little garden'. As soon as lockdown lifts further, we will be able to expand our activities even further outdoors but you're right, the children love the park and the woods on a daily basis.

My son started at Elan aged 10 months and has absolutely loved it since day 1. The staff in the baby room have been fantastic and it's clear my son is very settled with them. It is hard leaving your baby for the first time and the staff were incredibly flexible and supportive to ensure he was settled
for his first full session and kept me up to date throughout. The range of activities they carry out are varied and stimulating and I love seeing my sons development via their app which is always kept up to date. I'm glad we chose this nursery and I couldn't recommend it enough. Thank you Elan!

The best reference we can give Elan Nursery (Perrymount Road) is how happy our child is each morning going out the door to nursery. He casually and happily walks through the front door of the nursery with no fuss. We have always found the staff positive, enthusiastic and responsive. We love seeing the
Parent Portal updates and learning/exploratory activities he undertakes each day - we are often surprised by how much he absorbs and shares with us when he comes home - from words to songs and always keen to tell us about his day.

When we drop our son off in the morning he's happy and excited, looking forward to a big cuddle with the staff. When we collect him he's happy and excited because he's had a wonderful day. We know this, thanks to the many updates, photos and videos we are sent every day, detailing activities, learning,
play and the delicious meals (often I'm jealous) he gets to eat. We have got to know all staff at Elan and all are professional, friendly, knowledgeable and really care about our boy. Thank you Elan!

I have a son of 20 months. He started to nursery 6 months ago. I have been living here for 1 year and my English is not good. The manager patiently took care of me when I went to get information. She helped me. A very warm and friendly team. I am also very pleased with the development of my son.

My son started nursery two months ago and I was really pleased with the induction weeks. The staff really took the time to make sure he settled in and now he is doing really well with the supportive environment.

My husband and I have been extremely impressed with Elan Nursery in Haywards Heath. The staff provide a friendly and nurturing environment where our daughter has really progressed and flourished. It is clear the staff are invested in the children as individuals and go out of their way to facilitate
personal growth. We would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents.

The three ladies in the baby room are exceptionally caring and they organise great activities. We really like the fact that there is a chef cooking the food in the same building. We'd like to have in advance the menu for the week/month for the meals so we can plan better the meals at home, and maybe
to include more fish and less mincemeat in your menus. We'd like more pics and videos in the app to see how our baby interacts with other babies.

Our eldest daughter is currently in explorers having graduated from babies, whilst our younger daughter has just started at Elan Day Nursery - Haywards Heath. Both girls enjoy their days there and have formed great bonds with their key workers. We really appreciate the variety of activities that are

I was so grateful for the kind, warm and welcoming experience I had in getting my daughter started at Elan Day Nursery - Haywards Heath. I was lucky enough to be able to go in and meet the staff who would be looking after her and see where she would be spending her days, which was very comforting. Within
a few months of going to Elan Day Nursery - Haywards Heath my daughter had picked up so many wonderful skills that I know are down to her going there. The staff always seem happy to be working there which is reassuring. They are brilliant at keeping the children entertained with various activities and make a point of taking the children out for a daily walk which is fantastic. They have also kept on top of things with regards to the pandemic and have a good system in place. In the months that were plagued with pandemic uncertainties, my daughter has been fortunate to have had the constant of going to a great nursery, where she is very happy, settled and enjoys socialising with the children and staff.

We are really happy with Elan pre-school in Haywards Heath. My son started in January after we moved to the area from London. He has settled really quickly, the staff have been fantastic with him, he’s made lots of friends and told us he much prefers Elan than his previous nursery!

The Elan team are the most wonderful, caring and skilled professionals. It’s been the best decision I ever made and my daughter is happy, contented and developing so well with the support and nurturing approach that is taken at Elan. Really lovely and welcoming place. It has a real family feel (the nice kind as opposed to the one that makes you dread Christmas) which we felt was very important. Most importantly my child loves it, which is the most important thing after all (as well as it being close to the station of course). We
feel very lucky to have him there and couldn't recommend it more.

My oldest son joined Elan age 2 (in explorers) and my youngest was on the list before he was born! We originally picked Elan due to proximity to the station but even now that’s less of a consideration I wouldn’t change it. The staff are brilliant in all rooms and at the pre-school - really engaged and
caring, brilliant entertainer and full of energy. They are always happy to offer friendly advice or chat over any concerns on the phone. And the kids love them - when my youngest lists off his mates, all the staff are always in there. I also get the impression they all enjoy their work which is important. Don’t be put off by the lack of outside space. They go to the park/woods most days which must be much more interesting - and better for wearing them out - and the studio is a brilliant indoor playground for really wet days. The management are great too - approachable and quick to respond, taking the best interests of both kids and staff into account.

I have two children at Elan Day Nursery - Haywards Heath. One in the baby room and one at preschool. My older one has been at Elan Day Nursery - Haywards Heath since he was one. He is starting school in September and his experience at Elan Day Nursery - Haywards Heath has really given him a great head
start for school and given him lots of confidence. My baby goes happily and gets excited every time! Obviously he feels very safe and has lots of fun. The staff are so caring and both boys have a strong bond with their key workers. The nursery provides a range of fun and educational activities, including lots of messy play and new experiences. They go on trips to the park and woods which often involves an interesting activity or task. The food provided by Elan Day Nursery - Haywards Heath own chef is fantastic with lots of very nutritious and interesting meals. It is such a lovely nursery and we couldn't recommend it highly enough.

I have two children moving through the nursery and am so impressed with the care and support they receive. The thing that I like the most is the positive relationships they have built with the staff. The staff give detailed, honest feedback at the end of the day and share many activities and joys that
the children have had but they are also open if there has been any upsets. I really appreciate this honesty and find it very reassuring. They welcome my children with smiles and open arms and I couldn’t ask for more.

We are delighted with Elan Day Nursery - Haywards Heath. My son bonded very quickly with his key worker and is clearly very happy there. All the staff at the nursery are so caring and nurturing, it is evident that they really do love the children. It makes it a lot easier to leave my child and go to
