I can't recommend Horsham Montessori highly enough. The entire team are absolutely wonderful, they are all so caring and invested in the children. Our daughter has just left the nursery to start school in September and has been so well prepared by the staff. Their ethos of allowing the children to learn
at their own pace without pressure has meant that she is really confident when she does develop skills. As parents we have been kept up to date with everything going on with the nursery, there are regular parent days, and all of the staff are completely approachable for a 'tea and a chat' informal meeting on top of the development updates given for each child. Needless to say I have already booked my 7 month old son's place for 2024, I can't imagine him going anywhere else! There isn't enough space for me to say everything I want to about this nursery!

I am very happy with the service provided by the staff at Horsham Montessori. My daughter had a difficult time transitioning from Surrey to West Sussex and the staff at the nursery were brilliant at supporting her. She has learned so much in the time she has been there!

We have sent all three of our children to the Horsham Montessori and all have loved the experience. We liked the way the children could play but it was structured and educational and the access to the allotment is a great bonus. The staff are friendly and very helpful and genuinely care about the children.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery.

Horsham Montessori couldn't have been better. They were warm and caring and really helped draw our daughter out of her shell into the confident wee girl we now have and has given her an incredible start for primary school.
They were always understanding, compassionate and able to offer advice. It is
always difficult with a first child to 'let go' and send your child away for the day with someone else but I've always had complete trust in the amazing staff there and I'm so grateful for my daughter's education and experiences.

Wow, what a nursery Horsham Montessori is. We were recommended Horsham Montessori for our son by quite a few people before starting and we couldn’t of been more pleased. The staff were truly amazing. So helpful and friendly. Our son spoke very highly of all his teachers. We found the Montessori way
of learning brilliant also. He very much enjoyed all the outdoor learning and play. Especially when in the allotment. The facilities and food were great. The fact you also take your own packed lunch in also was good for us. Our son when he started was very nervous and reserved. They really helped bring him out of his shell and is flourishing with confidence and eager to learn and ready for school. We couldn’t recommend them enough for your child.

Horsham Montessori provided all that we could wish for from a nursery. Brilliant staff and a wonderful atmosphere. Our daughter has grown so much in confidence and understanding over her time there. On top of this everyone made such an effort to keep supporting the kids and parents through the tough
circumstances of the pandemic.

I cannot say enough good things about Horsham Montessori! The care and love they show for every child is amazing and the care and love they give parents is amazing. The support you get through the induction is so wonderful. My daughter is getting assessed for potential special needs and the support
in this process is so thorough, genuine and heartfelt.
Choose this nursery. You will not regret it.

Both my children have flourished during their time at Horsham Montessori. The nursery has had a hugely positive impact on their upbringing and they have been more than ready to start school when the time has come. The learning, the attitude of all the staff and the ethos there are second to none. I
would wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to anyone in the area with young children.

My little boy started nursery when he was 2. He was a very shy, timid boy and often cried when I said goodbye. I was a little sceptical at first as I was anxious he wasn’t enjoying going. I spoke to the manager who straight away put me at ease.
I cannot thank the nursery enough. My little boy isn’t
the shy timid boy we once knew, he is confident, thriving and has grown up so much since being at Horsham Montessori. All the staff have been brilliant considering it’s been a very difficult 18 months.
We will miss every single one of the staff. They really are so passionate about the children. I’m so glad we choose to put our little boy there it was the best decision we ever made.

We chose Horsham Montessori after my mother suggested my daughter would benefit from the type of Montessori learning and teaching, and would also enjoy a quiet space. We visited Horsham Montessori and were impressed with the way they have separated the spaces, they have an allotment and outdoor play
area in addition to a running room and block room. The Horsham Montessori team are above excellent. They are kind, compassionate, excel in their understanding of the teaching but also strive to pass ideas onto the parents and help and advise with any issues you may have. Before the pandemic, they would have regular coffee mornings where they would discuss teaching practices we could do at home, conferences they had been to and showed us some of the activities the children do in the setting. They would offer help with emotions and sleep and during lockdown sent activities out and videos. My daughter has grown in confidence and is very independent. I highly recommend this nursery.

We would highly recommend Horsham Montessori. My daughter currently attends and is very happy there. The Montessori equipment is lovely and the balance between independence and structure seems so beneficial. My son previously attended and the support and guidance they offered him and ourselves as parents
was very valuable, particularly around transfer to school but also in settling in and building resilience. During this recent difficult period of lockdown and coronavirus changes, they have been brilliant at keeping parents informed and providing optional ongoing activities, as well as ways for parents to update staff on ongoing development updates. I feel confident in their ability to plan for the changing circumstances and their hygiene standards are always above average. Any issues are dealt with thoroughly by management.

Our son has attended Horsham Montessori for the past two years and is now leaving for "big school". He absolutely loved his time at nursery and, as an only child, the nursery has helped him to develop into a confident and sociable young boy who knows how to problem solve, take turns and share. In our
opinion, the best thing about Horsham Montessori is the staff, they are so kind, caring and respectful of the integrity of the child. They take a genuine child-centred approach in all that they do. On top of this, the nursery also has just the right balance between stimulation (not over-stimulation) and space for imaginations to flourish. Because of this, we have seen our son's capacity for imaginative play come alive. An added bonus for us has been the willingness of the management to be flexible and adapt to our changing needs for more or fewer childcare hours at different points in the year. We have always found that if they can help, they will.

Having visited over 500 nurseries over the UK as part of my professional work over the last decade, I can honestly say that Horsham Montessori is amongst the very best. The standouts are the calmness of the atmosphere and curiosity for learning instilled in the children. This is coupled with the genuine
care of the staff and dedication of the leadership. Naturally, I am therefore delighted on a personal level that my son is spending three years at the start of his lifelong educational journey at this fine Early Years institution.

All of my three children have loved their time at Horsham Montessori Nursery. The staff are wonderful- their understanding of children is second to none. The environment is caring and nurturing whilst supporting the children in developing their independence and readying them for the transition to school.

Such a wonderful nursery with staff that genuinely care for the children and get to know their quirks, likes and dislikes. Children are given clear boundaries, good manners and empathy towards others is actively encouraged and demonstrated by staff. My eldest son attended a few years ago and instantly
excelled, when he started "big" school he continued to thrive, using the Montessori foundations that he had learnt to make sense of his new education. My second son joined my eldest after a year when he turned 2, he is now just about to move on from nursery and despite losing 3 months due to COVID-19, he is still more than ready for school! He is keen to learn and is always full of stories of what he's been up to! My daughter who is not even 1 year old is already signed up to start here next year! I wouldn't send her anywhere else! We do not live locally to this nursery, but what it has provided for my children makes the journey more than worth it.

Horsham Montessori is a phenomenal nursery - they are dedicated, enthusiastic, excellent carers/teachers who have the children’s welfare and education at the heart of everything they do. We have been attending for nearly 3 years and it was the best decision we could have made. They have dealt with the
current situation with logic, patience and diligence whilst still keeping the Montessori ethos in mind. I cannot praise them enough!

We have recently started sending our second child to this excellent nursery. We wouldn’t have considered anywhere else. The Montessori approach is perfectly suited to a preschool setting and the equipment is both unique and purposeful. Our eldest left this nursery very much ready for school, in spite
of being a ‘Summer boy’. However, they don’t just simply educate, they reinforce manners and demonstrate kindness. Children emerge happy, confident and caring, as well as with a sound grasp of numbers, letter sounds, general/world knowledge and self-care.
