Bees in the Hive Pre-school is located in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and offers 32 Ofsted registered places for children aged two- to four-years-old.

Managed by the Early Years Alliance, the pre-school focuses on encouraging learning through play and involving parents in the life of the setting.

A committed, friendly and well-qualified team provide high-quality care and learning opportunities for all children and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with a focus on learning through play.

Bees in the Hive Pre-school is are open from 9:00am - 12:00 noon, and 12:00 noon - 3:00pm, Monday to Friday, during term time (38 weeks of the year), excluding bank holidays and three staff training days.

Funding & Fees Guide for Bees in the Hive Pre-school

  • A 3hr session costs £19.00 for 3 & 4 yr olds and £22.00 for 2yr olds.

  • They do accept funding for 2, 3 and 4yr olds, including the new funding for working parents of 2yr olds.
    Paying customers are requested to pay one month in advance, and pay a returnable £50.00 deposit please.

I would like to say the staff member in my daughter's room is the best nursery teacher she does so much with my daughter it's unreal and when I message her through the app she messages me back straight away. My daughter has learnt so much I couldn't ask for more than that and the best thing is that
you can have a laugh when you go pick your children up from nursery.
So I would like to say a big thank you to her and to the other staff.

These lovely ladies really have made my little girl's days wonderful she loves going, they have helped me so much with her. I don't have one bad word to say about anything. They helped me with her potty training overall a lovely little setting for the children

Couldn’t recommend Bees enough friendly approachable staff who have help whenever they can with impartial advice where needed they helped get my 3 children diagnosed and was there through the whole process they are so supportive and accommodate as much as they can , could not recommend enough.

My daughter attends the nursery at Bees in the Hive. Throughout the time she has been there, all the staff at the nursery have been amazing with the activities they have offered her throughout the day, which my daughter has loved taking part in. The staff are so caring they have made her feel safe and
cared for when she has had some upsetting times, which has reassured me as her mum that my daughter will be happy and safe no matter what mood my daughter is in when she at the nursery, I know the staff will be there for her.

It has been an incredible experience. Our son has been happy and excited ever since he started with Bees in the Hive Pre-school. More so, he has been very articulate with his words and getting better each time, given his age. We are pleased with the mode and way of teaching the school has implemented
and the hygiene level is of a good standard.

My granddaughter was here for a couple of years, now my other granddaughter comes here now and she is nearly three years old. I can't fault this nursery at all in any categories they are very very good in all that they do.
I recommend any child that goes here they will be in the best of care.

Bees in the HIve nursery is good. My son loves going to the nursery and the staff are brilliant. The staff are always there for the children when they need something. I love taking my child to the nursery.

It has been nearly a month my son has been going to this nursery and my elder son went to the same nursery. All staff are very genuine and empathetic and give good care to my son. I am well impressed with how much the staff already know about him. I would highly recommend this nursery to others.

My child attended the pre-school for one year and we couldn't have been happier with the progress she made while at Bees in the Hive. We are sure that our child is well prepared for the reception class in September. The staff are incredible for our whole family, the partnership between us works really
well. Our child is happy in the setting and I always recommend the place to my friends. The garden is quite small, but that is not an issue.

Since joining the nursery, my daughter has developed in so many ways. She is more confident and social and looks forward to going into playschool every day. The Ladies at Bees in the Hive are so lovely. They keep you up to date with your child's learning progress. My daughter has grown so much confidence during her time there and made so many new friends. My daughter loves the fact she gets homework to do. My daughter looks forward to going every day. The

My little boy started this playgroup last month and I honestly cannot fault it at all.
He has come such a long way within himself, he’s found a whole new confidence and that is down to the girls at “school”.
He’s only 2 but he's learnt so much from them in such a short time and he comes home and
goes into school so happy every day.

I am really satisfied with pre-school. Very friendly staff. Communicative, always smiling with energy for working with children. They do really good work. My son loves to spend time in pre-school.
