Edwinstowe offers full day care and part-time sessional care to children from three months to five years in four different age group based rooms.

My younger daughter has just left Edwinstowe after four years and her elder sister was there before her, we're very sad to lost our connection with this lovely nursery. The staff are genuinely caring and attached to the children, there are always lots of cuddles, and the children are always happy. As
my girls got older and had been in the preschool room for longer, the staff found new activities to keep them interested, and made sure nobody was bored. What's really lovely is the low staff turnover; there are people the children get to know who stay for their whole time at nursery, making them feel secure and giving it a real family atmosphere.

Fran is Manager of Edwinstowe Day Nursery and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early year's sector for over 23 years. Fran has a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare and Education. Fran has worked at Childbase Partnership for 18 years.


What’s your favourite feature of your nursery?
I love how every room has its own garden and its quiet location in natural surroundings, which encourages a range of wildlife, despite being close to the city centre.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
How passionate they are in helping the children to reach their full potential, seeing how much fun they have in teaching the children every day, resulting in the children being excited and engaged in their learning.
