Spring Nursery – Wyton is a 78 place purpose-built setting offering full and part-time childcare for children aged 3months – 5years. The nursery is situated in a quiet residential area within the village of Wyton on the Hill, Cambridgeshire and serves the local community as well as Military Personnel. Staff at the nursery encourage all children to reach their full individual potential.

The staff take time to get to know the parents and the children ensuring their individual care and needs are met. The purpose-built childcare facility is all at ground level with disabled access into, and around the building.

There is a large fully enclosed garden giving the nursery their own outdoor space used extensively to explore the outside environment. The rooms are set out to encourage self-reliance with equipment easily accessible for all ages. An on-site kitchen provides home cooked meals and snacks for the children, catering for allergies, food intolerances and the weaning process for young children. Spring Nursery has 3 rooms: Baby Room, Toddler Room, and Preschool Room.

They offer funded places for 2, 3 and 4-year-olds between 15 and 30 hours. The nursery is open 51 weeks a year, closing only Christmas week and on Bank holidays.

The nursery is fantastic, I could not rate it any higher. My little boy has been attending for almost 2 years now, he loves it and has a great day every day. The staff are kind, caring and wonderfully friendly. It is incredibly reassuring to know in dropping him off somewhere that will nurture, develop
and keep him safe every day. My baby girl will start next month and I am confident she will have an equally excellent experience in her early years. Thank you Spring!

Very happy with the nursery. I'm so happy with the progress my little boy has made while at Spring Nursery. He is always very excited to go in to the nursery. I love his relationship with not only his key person but all of the staff. Until recently, my daughter also attended Spring, she has now gone

My son loves going to Spring Nursery RAF Wyton. The staff are always friendly on drop off and pick up and always inform me of how the day has been for him. The app is a really good feature and keeps me updated throughout the day. Food is well varied and includes the three main meals of the day and snacks
throughout. Activities are brilliant and I’ve noticed such a development in my son since joining.

Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming and always happy to answer questions. Would appreciate more updates through the app to advise of what activities the children have taken part in throughout the day, especially as my son is currently non-verbal; I never really get to know what he's gotten up

My daughter started at Spring Nursery Wyton not too long ago after being really unhappy at her previous setting. This made the move to Spring a really anxious time for me however she has absolutely thrived since being there. She is so happy to go each day and is such a happy little girl now. Really
shows how important getting the right setting can be for a child, and these guys have been amazing for us!

Our little boy has now been attending the nursery for coming up to a year. We have seen huge developments over this time from his motor skills through to meal times. He loves the staff and socialising with his little pals. The staff are amazing; I’ve nothing but praise for the activities they get up
to and the relationships they built with him. The staff are very friendly, and I can easily go to them for advice or concerns I have with the different phases we go through. I wouldn’t want him to go anywhere else!

Our 10-month-old has been attending this nursery for 2-months now, and we couldn’t be happier. She is well looked after and loves her time there. She goes in smiling and comes out the same way. She seems to be happy with all the staff, and she has developed skills we are sure are being helped along
by being at nursery. The staff are always friendly, helpful and willing to answer any questions we have as first-time parents. We love the app so that we can see what our little one has been up to during the day. Our only thoughts would be it would be lovely to see more pictures, but understand the staff are very busy taking care of our children. All in all, we would highly recommend Spring at Wyton. Convenient, reliable, safe and enjoyable, and our little girl loves it.

Our children love coming here, and all the staff are friendly and really do care for the children.
The only real criticism is updating about what children have been up to on a daily basis is lacking.
I would definitely recommend to others, and despite the minor criticism, all other aspects meet or
exceed what I’d expect.

My little girl has been at the nursery since she was one, so has made her way through all the rooms and is now in the pre-school room. The nursery is a wonderful environment, and all of the staff are friendly, patient and encouraging, and I drop her off knowing she will be cared for so well.
The app
they use is a great way of knowing what they have been up to. I especially like getting photos of what they have been doing and reading her developmental assessments along with useful updates as to what she has eaten.
Lovely setting. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Great setting. Excellent induction process - our daughter settled in really quickly. I love that this nursery uses an app for communications - we receive regular weekly updates on our daughter's progress with daily updates on her food intake and sleeping patterns. It's very useful when engaging her
in conversation about her day - and just a really nice way to feel connected during those hours she is in the nursery. The staff are very responsive and caring and provide plenty of activities during the day. The meals served are nutritious and balanced. Overall, great nursery and would highly recommend.

We've recently moved here, and both my children have been to a nursery previously, so we had high standards, which were exceeded. They have settled so well and come home happy and having had so much fun every day. The pictures on the app are lovely to see, and it's so good to be able to see updates
in live time, as well as send any little messages directly over and get a quick reply. My children love it, and I'm very happy with their care and learning.

We think Spring Nursery is great. My daughter, who is one, goes there five days a week and she really enjoys her time there. The staff are very caring and communicative. The app they use means that I can see what my daughter is doing during her day, which is great. I'd highly recommend. The food also
seems great, and my daughter comes back happy at the end of both her half days and her full days there.

My little boy started here in May, and he was a bit unsettled at first but has settled in really well. As a first time mum in Covid times, I was apprehensive about leaving him for the first time. Got to say, the staff have been brilliant and have helped me as much as my little boy. They are always quick
to help and offer advice. It’s a lovely nursery, and I love that they do lots of fun activities, which they post on their app. My boy has recently started learning to walk, and they have been helping him a lot with it. Totally recommend this nursery.

I have been working in childcare since 2005 and I started in a nursery as a practitioner after having completed my BTEC National Diploma in Early Years. Whilst working, I continued my learning and development and undertook a BA in Early Childhood Studies. I then went on to complete Early Years Professional Status. I have worked my way up to a manager over the years, whilst taking some time out to have my children.
