Situated a short distance from the centre of Cambridge, The Old Station Nursery Granta Park offers the perfect setting for parents commuting to the city as well as the surrounding areas. The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child, such as child-friendly cooking, language and organic growing classes. These classes help to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process, difference cultures, the environment and sustainable living.

In the organic-centred nursery, a lively curriculum inspires curiosity, sparks imagination, and cultivates overall wellness. Children eagerly participate in plant nurturing, produce harvesting, and culinary exploration, acquiring knowledge about plant growth, diverse fruits, and cooking methods. The nursery also proudly offers a cookery enhancement, featuring uniquely crafted cooking and baking utensils designed with children's safety and ease of use in mind.

Purposefully designed, the nursery offers four rooms that have been curated for different ages and stages of development. In each of the large and airy rooms, children can explore a range of resources and equipment chosen specifically for them. Each room also benefits from access to a separate garden space. With laid Astroturf and a range of resources, from a mud kitchen to a climbing frame, children are free to safely explore and enjoy the outdoors.

Granta Park focuses on the learning of Languages via Baby Sing and Sign classes, Spanish language lessons and interactive multilingual books. This is embedded into an overall engaging curriculum. Children have access to a range of high-quality and engaging texts and children’s stories from Polylino.

My toddler looks forward every day to go to his preschool. The staff is lovely, they go above and beyond what is expected of them. When it comes to potty training, they have been exceptionally patient and very supportive through the whole process.
They take keen interest in the children who are under
their care. Overall, it's the people who work in this setting that makes this nursery excellent.

We have been very pleased with how quickly the boys have settled at the nursery. The stimulation provided has been excellent and the boys are excited to come to nursery. The learning opportunities at Pre-school level have been notable and we can see development each month as a result.

We have been using Granta Park nursery for six years now, and we have always been pleased with the care they have provided, and confident that our children are in safe and caring hands. Both children have been well prepared to start school, and given an excellent start by the lovely staff at Granta

The nursery is well equipped and each room is nicely set up, offering a big range of activities. Throughout the day the children are encouraged to do different types of activities (outdoors and indoors), with a good ratio free - organised play. The staff are very professional and responsive to individual
needs of the children. We are very happy with the progress our son has made here.

Everyone at Granta Park is friendly and professional. They all know our daughter well and her personality. They have helped to support her development in her favourite activities and the staff in her room especially keep us well informed of her daily activities and the staff in her room especially keep
us well informed of her daily activities. It was really reassuring when there was a short biting phase as we were a bit shocked but the staff helped us to understand it better. Thank you!

My child has been attending since October 2016 and since then her development has come along really well. She has made friends and is always happy when I pick her up and is excited to tell me about her day. I am happy with my child coming to Granta Park and would recommend this nursery.

Overall the nursery is ok. The carers are good. The facilities are not the greatest but acceptable. The management, mainly the manager of this nursery is rude and not very helpful at all. She does not understand the needs of a new starter and their parents. She comes across unhelpful and not caring.
The assistant manager in the contrary is lovely and cares about the well being of the kids/babies and their parents.

Our son really enjoys his time at nursery and it usually filthy when its time to come home, a sure sign that fun has been had!
We're pleased with our son's continued development, with staff that are caring and attentive.
The outside space is quite small and it doesn't offer much protection from the
sun but our son seems to enjoy it anyway.

The staff at Granta Park Nursery are very caring. They made my son feel welcome and loved. I could not have wished for more. He has really developed into a very social human being. Our overall experience with the nursery has been positive and our son really enjoys his time there. The staff are very friendly and approachable. The only problems I have had over the last 2 years have been invoicing which was resolved after speaking with a manager, and at times there have been high
staff turnovers. However, there have been a core set of carers who my son has grown attached to. The best bit of the nursery is the outside space which they get to enjoy a lot over the summer.

My little boy loves his times spent at Granta Park. There is always so much going on to stimulate the children and lots of different ways for them to learn and develop. All staff are so personable and caring and you can see the genuine relationship they build with the children.

Always had a good feeling about the nursery and staff. We always received feedback from the staff on a daily basis. Staff are always helpful and it's a cheerful place and our son is happy to be here. There are always things to do and experience for the kids.
