Kindred Huntingdon is a warm and welcoming environment where staff are passionate about the mission to create inspiring worlds full of awe and wonder for little ones to grow and thrive in.

By creating days filled with unique moments and opportunities, the nursery are able to truly enrich a child’s development during the 0-5 years.

Not only that, but Kindred also personally understand what it is to be a parent during this magical time and create meaningful relationships with every parent and will never miss an opportunity to share in the joy of every child’s developmental and learning moments.

Kindred are more than just inspiring childcare but making sure the parent partnership is at its very best.

Kindred Huntingdon is located in a lovely converted barn setting with a large outdoor area. The nursery offers exceptional childcare and early years education to children aged from 3 months up to 5 years.

Open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and offer funded places for three-year-olds and qualifying two-year-olds. Speak to their manager, Laura, too find out more.

A brilliant place for my child to spend her days. Lots of fun and learning and she genuinely loves it.
She also eats lots of meals here which she wouldn't at home which is great.

We are very pleased with the nursery and how our child has been treated and cared for at the nursery. The staff have been lovely, and we see our child enjoys and looks forward to attending the nursery every morning. This reassures us that he is safe and well looked after. My daughter hasn't been here long, since February. However, she has come along in leaps and bounds. She loves climbing and causing trouble but that is my daughter. Great nursery and amazing staff. One thing to improve on is an app for the kids and parents.

My son enjoys this nursery a lot and gets on well with everybody. My son has come along in all his milestones. They teach him really well and it's fun. Very nice and healthy meals which my children have enjoyed. I know that my children are very well looked after.

So far very happy with the nursery. It would be good if you could provide guidance on all the opinions available for financial support from the government and local authorities, as it is all over the place and very difficult to know if we have access to everything.
A monthly or quarterly photo log
of what the child gets up to and progress shared in this way would be appreciated, although I know this may be time-consuming overall, great work in the nursery! Keep it up!

I absolutely love The Barn Day Nursery. My daughter is always happy to come here and happy when she gets home. She learns a lot of new things at nursery, that she shows me at home. All staff are very friendly and polite and always provide lots of information about my daughter's day and progress.

Our daughter hasn't been going to The Barn long but it's obvious she loves going. She is always smiling when we drop her off/pick her up so we know she is happy and enjoys being here. The staff are really friendly and always tell us about her day and how she's been. I like that the meals are put at
the window so I know what she has eaten.

Our daughter absolutely loves The Barn Day Nursery, the care and attention they show to her is absolutely wonderful. Sometimes I'm sure she doesn't want to leave. Her brother, now 5, attended the nursery and he always wants to say hello.

Amazing care for both of my boys, I was worried about leaving them but the nursery have been amazing. The boys are happy and that makes me happy as a Mum.
The manager has been so accommodating of my shift work and staff always have a full update on what my sons have done for the day. Staff members
always make my son feel reassured of nursery and helped him with his anxiety.

Eleanor Sibley

Hello, my name is Eleanor. I have worked in childcare for over a decade and have been at Kindred Huntingdon since the beginning of 2017.


I started my childcare journey as an apprentice and became a Level 3 practitioner. Throughout the years, I worked in multiple roles of 1:1 practitioner, keyworker, Room Leader, Deputy Manager and finally Nursery Manager which has always been a dream of mine. I am currently studying towards my Level 5 in Early Years.


I am passionate about children's learning and development, and I strive to provide activities and environments that broaden the children's experiences while they are in our care.

Hi, my name is Diane and I have worked at Kindred Huntingdon since 2010.


I started my childcare journey as a student and studied to become a Level 3 practitioner. I fell in love with the job and worked my way up to Room Leader and then progressed to Deputy Manager.


I am passionate and enthusiastic about creating a home-from-home experience. I strive for both our children and their families to feel supported and nurtured through their nursery journey and feel safe and secure within our care.
