Discover the modern, purpose-built Cambridge Science Park Day Nursery and Preschool, designed to inspire your child and support their development, from the age of 3 months to 5 years.
With five spacious, open-plan rooms your child will have plenty of space to explore, with age-tailored resources and imaginative learning environments. Each room has free-flow access to its own garden and they also have a communal courtyard with a large built-in sandpit where the children are able to feel the sand between their toes and imagine they’re exploring the seaside.

The Team pride themselves on providing a safe, exciting and enjoyable nursery where children thrive as they learn. They provide inspirational and engaging learning experiences using the innovative and well-established Boogie Mites and the unique Growing Enhancement programmes. These ‘Growing’ programmes give your child the inspiration and knowledge to navigate subjects such as mathematics, art, reading and writing. They also encourage vocational subjects such as art, gardening and cooking, helping to lay the foundations for future academic and creative achievements. This is a friendly, supportive nursery that has helped our son thrive and be ready for school in September. The staff are welcoming and know the children very well resulting in a happy environment. It is well led and we definitely recommend it!

We are very pleased with our experience at this nursery. The spacious rooms and individual outdoor play areas for each group create a comfortable and safe environment for the children. The staff are friendly and professional and the management is simply excellent. They always strive to understand and
address any issues that arise, making collaboration with them very pleasant.
There are plenty of creative activities and developmental games for the children, fostering their overall development. Communication with parents is top-notch: all important messages and notifications are promptly sent via email.
I highly recommend this nursery to any parents looking for a warm, caring and stimulating environment for their child.

We really value this nursery for our son. It has friendly, engaged and caring staff, purpose-built facilities, excellent management with great communication to parents and carers. Our son has had consistent key workers which has really helped him settle and when moving rooms. He really loves going in
and playing with all the toys and his friends. He also loves the food.

Really happy with the nursery and all the staff. It's a lovely, well-designed, safe space and the staff are great with the kids, really friendly and very welcoming. My eldest child was at Bright Horizons from age one until he started school, and my youngest is just about to leave to start school himself. The nursery have been such a huge part of our life, we will be very sad to say goodbye! The staff are wonderful, both my children have formed great bonds with
them and talk about them all the time at home. They make everyday fun, put so much effort into activities and pay attention to the children's interests. They have helped so much in our lives, from feeding, toilet training, naps, behaviour, how to navigate friendships, all of which has helped prepare them for school. All the staff are kind, friendly and caring - the kitchens do a fantastic job making lovely home-cooked food and the management are so efficient and helpful. It has been so lovely to know our children are somewhere safe, being well looked after and having fun, thank you to everyone who has looked after them over the years - we will miss you!

My son has been attending Bright Horizons, Science Park for over 1 year. The nursery is amazing, the children are very well looked after, they have plenty of activities and resources and the staff is lovely. The management is also great and approachable. Children are happy and thriving, the food is
good and the opening hours are very good for working parents. They offer support and care for children on an individual basis and tailor activities based on children’s needs. The staff is friendly and lovely. I am very happy with this nursery.

My son attended the nursery for around two years and he thoroughly enjoyed the experience. He was well looked after at the nursery. It was a wonderful experience overall. We heard about them from one of our friends and heard everything good about this nursery. Communication with the staff was prompt and easy. The staff were very kind and supportive throughout. Definitely, I could see my son learning new activities and exploring

Our son attended Bright Horizons Cambridge Science Park for just over a year from when he turned 1. He had a fantastic time at the nursery and made a number of friends that he would talk about at home. He is very energetic and exuberant and the staff were really great with him, turning his energy into
fun activities and opportunities for learning. We enjoyed being able to see what he was up to through the Famly app and know what he had eaten and when he had slept during the day. We are moving away from Cambridge so are reluctantly taking him to a new nursery. We would have been extremely happy for him to attend until he went to school, and leaving this nursery is one of the biggest regrets of our move! We will miss all the excellent staff who have been so good with our son and we certainly highly recommend the nursery to anyone.

Our little boy attended the nursery for nearly 2 years and we couldn't recommend it enough! If it wasn't for the fact we were moving out of the area we would be keeping him there until he went to school. He absolutely loved it and was always happy to go in, he made lots of friends and would always talk
about what he did in the day. The staff are amazing and so so caring. The nursery has an app so you can monitor what the little one has done throughout the day and get shown pictures of some of the activities. Definitely highly recommend!

My son is going to Reception soon and I can't believe he's leaving nursery - Bright Horizons Cambridge Science Park has just been wonderful for our family. The staff are caring and attentive and know him so well - they have helped us immeasurably. I have gone to them for advice regarding everything
from potty training to learning his second language and they have always been so patient and kind. I am especially pleased with the food, as my now four year old happily eats everything and clearly has had relaxed, positive mealtimes at nursery. I would be sad to say goodbye but our one year old is starting in September!

The nursery and the baby room team are incredible, I can't thank them enough for the care they have given to my little boy. The rooms are light and bright, and there is plenty for him to play and explore - which is super important for an active child! We love getting updates through the app, which keeps
us in touch throughout the day. Overall, the best place for him to be. He grins when we drop him off.

I have been with Science Park, Bright Horizon since 2019 for my older daughter and this year for my younger baby. I have really loved the culture, the room layout, the hygiene, the management, the staff and how well it works all together. The way that the staff and management act on your concerns, comments
and feedback is great and I have always benefitted from their solutions and open discussions. Honestly, I have always felt that we are like a family and I have had peace of mind at work as my kids were in good hands. Big thank you!

All members of staff are very helpful and have the best interests in mind. They take great care of my baby. We trust them with our precious baby every day and I believe this speaks for itself. My child has been at the nursery for just under a year and the care has been outstanding! The staff were very caring and considerate when settling him in. The staff share photos of my child playing and engaging in such a wide variety of activities. The outdoor space is great, as each room have their
own private garden, they have some lovely tricycles that my child absolutely loves. The Staff and management are always happy to answer any questions that me and my wife have. The nursery always seems clean and inviting and activities are always set up, ready for my child to play with when arriving. Me and my wife are very happy to have chosen this nursery to send our son to. He absolutely loves it there and all the staff too. He has come on leaps and bounds with his development since starting. Would highly recommend.

Outside space very dirty and uninviting, one garden completely overgrown.
Staff seemed overstretched, unable to give reasonable attention to individual children.
Seldom saw any original activities on settling in sessions - just routine play with toys.
Staff variable, some excellent, some seemed uninterested.
Food
seemed good, cooked fresh each day, and interesting menu options.
Management are responsive to concerns but made crucial mistakes with regards to child starting.
Reasonably clean inside but by no means sparkling.
Children seemed to frequently have accidents during settling-in sessions - staff spent a lot of time completing accident forms.
Toys are well worn - some books ripped and unreadable, most toys chipped/worn/damaged.
Each child has their own learning plan on paper but saw no reference to this during day-to-day care.
Just increased prices despite the above - expensive compared to other nurseries.
Based on the above, decided not to proceed to send our child to this nursery.
