The beautiful Fulbourn Day Nursery and Preschool, eco-friendly in design and located within Capital Park, is designed to enrich the learning and development of your child, from the age of 3 months to 5 years.

Set in a green and tranquil environment, the spacious, purpose-built nursery has rooms tailored to suit each age group. The Nursery staff team use babies’ natural curiosity and a range of sensory toys to help develop their motor skills, physical development and speech recognition. Toddler rooms are set up to help them learn more about the world around them – interesting shapes, textures and words. Preschoolers enjoy early reading, writing and mathematics in fun and interesting ways, alongside other subjects such as art and science.

To extend your child’s play and learning beyond the bright indoor facilities, Fulbourn nursery has an extensive garden. Each age group has its own area, with age-appropriate toys to encourage physical development, coordination and teamwork. The Nursery also has a beautiful natural meadow that is used in the warmer months as an outdoor classroom.

Staff is very qualified, caring, patient and sensible. Nursery maintains high levels of safety measures for children, equipped with loads of toys and books. Kids love the activities they are doing at pre-school and having lots of fun in storytime and rhyme time.

I would highly recommend Bright Horizons Fulbourn Day Nursery and Preschool! My son has been attending the nursery since June 2020 and despite all the challenges that Covid 19 has posed, the staff members have been extremely friendly and helpful! I like the type of activities that they organise to help
the children to learn and thrive, eg they teach them independence, creativity, love for nature and of course numeracy and literacy! I admire the innovative approach adopted by the nursery in nurturing these skills in such an engaging and fun way for the little ones! They are also very responsive to demands by parents and always extremely helpful in providing feedback on the child's development. This is very valued as it helps both - parents and nursery team - to work together to support the child. In light of the highly dedicated team and engaging curriculum that the nursery offers, I would highly recommend it to other parents!

The day nursery is good and very close to my office. I like the activities held by the nursery and HSE perspective of Bright Horizon. Overall I am satisfied however there are a couple of things like
- dates on emails are not correctly mentioned and creates confusion for parents, this is not a one-time
incident but has happened in the past as well.
- a reply to emails is very slow, which is the preferred way of communication. I am still waiting for a reply to my email which was sent in November.
- Greetings on glasses are wrongly mentioned for the Sikh religion and this has been notified for more than 1.5 years now, I understand there some action has been taken but I have not been informed of any progress.

We love the Bright Horizons chain, and our older child attended only the Bright Horizons nurseries. We didn't consider anything else for our younger one because we know that the chain has very high standards in all aspects.
We think the nursery adapted very well to the Covid-19 situation, and we feel
that our kid is as safe as possible. Now that we can't enter the nursery and talk to carers in person, it's very important that they provide us with short reports for the kids on a daily basis and email communications on a weekly basis. We also have regular phone calls from our kid's key person with the updates on how he is progressing.
We love how much time is devoted to creative and educational activities. We get our kid's drawings and collages and always admire them.

This nursery is outstanding in every single way! Manager and staff are all so caring and personal, our son has special needs and they support him and us parents so well. There is no problem that they would not overcome with our needs that otherwise would be a challenge for any nursery. They truly care
for every child’s individual needs and go the extra mile to accommodate. High standards of care delivered with warmth and love is all that matters and this team delivers consistently on every level! Our son has been attending for almost a year and I still pinch myself how lucky we are to have a place in this nursery.

Our eldest daughter did her pre-school year at Bright Horizons Fulbourn, and our youngest daughter was there from aged 9-months right up to starting school. They both had a wonderful experience at Fulbourn, and I highly recommend it. The nursery is very well run under the solid leadership of the nursery
manager, and the longevity of the staff there is a testament to the working environment that has been created. It is warm and welcoming but with good processes and procedures that help to make everyone feel relaxed and safe. The grounds are lovely, private and safe and is tucked at the end of the park makes it a peaceful place for the children to learn and play.

Bright Horizons Fulbourn Day Nursery and Preschool recently received the rating of "outstanding" from Ofsted. Obviously this is an amazing bit of news for a parent to read, and I agree with every word in the report. My wife and I are so happy that our daughter goes there. Our little one has learnt so
much in her time there and is developing with the help of the amazing team at the nursery. To a person, the team there are all attentive, professional and full of respect for their charges as well as their colleagues. The team is genuinely loving, warm and caring. They know the individual quirks of all the kids. They are family away from home and I couldn't recommend this place more highly.

Our daughter started a couple of months ago in the Pre School Room. We had just arrived in the UK so she did not speak the language but the staff were really thoughtful about the situation and helped her became part of the group. The staff are very caring and that some speak other languages was a real
plus for us. We can assure that she really loves going to Bright Horizons and highly recommend the nursery.

My son started at this nursery full time when he was 2.5 having moved from another nursery due to our relocation. He was settled in very effectively, with many more sessions than his previous nursery had offered, including mealtimes. He is in a small room (early pre-school) with a focus on preparing
them for the largest and oldest room in the nursery. He’s got two fantastic key workers who he is very fond of, but he is also close to several other members of staff. The rooms are clean and bright and look very welcoming each morning. His language has really developed this year, as has his physical ability. He is always very active at nursery and they have excellent outside space which seems well used. I get on very well with the manager who has a no-nonsense approach and manages the other staff well. My son is now going through the transition process for the next room, which is being well handled and I’m confident he will settle quickly and be happy there.

We have been at the Fulbourn Day Nursery for the last two years, baby room and toddlers. Our daughter enjoys every day going there. It is a very warm and welcoming atmosphere; the staff always do their best to make sure that kids are happy and settled. Manager of the nursery is very professional, well
organized and very supportive which results in amazing order and efficiency at the nursery. It is a very homely and positive environment.
There are a lot of activities for kids both indoor and outdoor and impressive educational program. Our daughter’s language skills developed significantly and she learned a lot of songs and enjoys reading books. She feels very comfortable to go to the nursery in the morning and often does not want to leave the nursery in the evening. There are regular electronic newsletters with updates on the menu, activities, events and most important information, which makes you even more connected to the nursery. We couldn’t be happier with our daughter’s daycare.

Our son started nursery at Bright Horizons, Fulbourn 3.5 months ago, aged 14 months. From the initial settling in sessions, it was evident how caring and professional the team at Fulbourn are, enabling a very smooth transition from home to nursery. The warmth and care of his key workers led to our son
forming great attachments with them within a short space of time. He now feels so happy and at home there that he doesn't want to leave nursery in the evenings! Our son's walking and talking skills have come on in leaps and bounds, thanks to the encouragement of the staff and their dedication to his development. The purpose-built building and outdoor spaces are fantastic. Safety is taken very seriously. We are impressed with the team's commitment to showcasing how they develop children's skills through their family days, alongside their excellent charity events. We're delighted with our son's care and highly recommend the nursery, with its professional, friendly and happy atmosphere.

Our daughter started at the nursery in Fulbourn when she was only 10 months old. Now she is four years old and is starting school this autumn. As she's grown the care she got at the nursery has always adapted to her needs. In the beginning, it focused on providing a safe and comforting environment.
And by the end, it was preparing for school through indoor and outdoor play. The facilities are great but what really makes it work is the staff, all of them are incredibly caring from the managers to the carers. It was wonderful when she started telling us stories about playing with friends and carers at the end of each day. She made a lot of friends who we'll try to keep in touch with.

Our daughter has been attending the baby room at nursery for the past 6 months and we couldn't be happier. As parents we wanted to find someone who would take care of our daughter as well as we would and the staff at this nursery does just that. Our daughter loves the environment, to the point where
she starts laughing and clapping as soon as she realises where we are going. The staff seem to genuinely care and like the children and they have been extremely accommodating and helpful.

Both my children have attended Bright Horizons Fulbourn, with my youngest just leaving, and I cannot express enough how exceptional the care is. Each child is known as an individual and their personal interests and talents nurtured. The strong bonds the carers have formed with our children are truly
wonderful to see, and my oldest still stay in touch with carers that looked after them when babies! The standard of behaviour is outstanding and all the children learn to care, share and respect others, as well as growing in confidence themselves, and I am frankly in awe of the orderly routine established with such young children! The children benefit from lots of outdoor time to explore and appreciate the natural world, and a great strength of the nursery is that they spend lots of time outdoors come rain or shine. I think it says it all that my oldest child, now at school still stays in touch with a large number of her nursery friends as they formed truly strong bonds and deep friendships.

At least one of my three daughters has been attending The Bright Horizons Nursery in Fulbourn consistently for the last nine years. My youngest is currently in the early preschool room. The new building is bright and spacious with plenty to occupy and entertain the children all day. The staff are kind
and caring and my youngest has been very fond of her key worker in each room. The staff have always been helpful with advice and help during different stages of babyhood and toddlerhood, for example with weaning and potty training. My daughter always comes home full of smiles and happy to tell us about her day playing in the mud kitchen, sandpit or painting inside. I would highly recommend The Bright Horizons Nursery in Fulbourn as a place to send your children. We will be sad when the day comes in two years time, after eleven years, that we no longer come to the nursery!

My daughter has been the happiest child in Fulbourn Nursery over one year in baby and toddlers room. When I leave her in the nursery every morning, I trust she is going to spend her day delighted with the staff and activities.
The environment offered by the nursery has the perfect combination of routine,
boundaries, freedom to play outside/indoors, planned activities, and immense love for the children’s wellbeing, development and growth. We all want our children to grow-up confident, happy and safe.
This nursery excels in providing this environment. While we all know that our child is the best of the best, I also know that this is accomplished by parents and carers at the nursery.
The early years of development shape our personality and our lives. It is important that we choose, when we can, the best environment for this growth. I have the highest appreciation for the job of carers of babies and toddlers day after day. We can only thank the staff for doing a wonderful job every day.

My 2 and a half-year-old has been at Fulbourn Bright Horizons nursery since his first birthday. He started in the "baby" room, is now in the "toddler" room and will soon progress to "rising 3's"- and his gestating brother is registered too. He adores this nursery - the rooms are spacious, each with
their own quiet sleeping area and outdoor garden with age-appropriate toys. The nursery is purpose built and is situated in a very quiet spot, away from roads and cars, nestled within a large green park with lots of mature trees. The children spend a lot of time outside and so it is nice to know that this time is accompanied by a background noise of birds chirping rather than cars. The food plan is specifically designed by a nutritionist and the staff are very receptive to any parental preference on food. Furthermore, the staff and management seem genuinely interested in the happiness and wellbeing of the children in their care. I can’t recommend this nursery highly enough.
