Welcome to Bright Horizons Wolfson Court Nursery and Preschool, where the staff cultivate a love of learning with a bespoke curriculum for children aged 3 months to 5 years. The onsite car park and buggy park ensure stress-free pick-ups and drop-offs, making the nursery a convenient choice for commuting parents near Cambridge train station.

In the baby room, children will feel at home, engaging in sensory play and activities that support their development. Toddlers enjoy a spacious room with activities tailored to their interests and designated toilet training areas. Preschoolers benefit from the guidance of an Early Years teacher who prepares them for school.

The 'Bright Beginning' program, designed by Early Years specialists, provides an excellent start through an enriching and wellbeing-focused curriculum. Building on the government’s EYFS curriculum, the nursery offers a holistic and personalised approach to nurture essential skills for each child’s growth.

Children also enjoy Boogie Mites, which offers learning through music and song. While the Family app keeps parents informed about their child's daily experiences and progress, ensuring they stay connected.

Each room has access to a private garden area for outdoor learning and exploration, tailored to different age groups. The nursery also provides customised Settling in Sessions to suit each family's needs — parents can speak with the nursery manager for more details.

To see the Cambridge nursery in person, parents can schedule a personal tour, and the caring team will be delighted to show everything they have to offer.

I have been extremely impressed, both with the management and the nursery staff at every stage, from babies, to toddlers and through to pre-school. My daughter's confidence has improved enormously in this time. I didn't know what to expect when I first arrived but one thing I have been constantly impressed
by is the level of attention and care shown to my child and her development and wellbeing. The staff have been professional, kind and helpful above and beyond my expectations. Very happy to recommend them.

My son has been in kidsunlimited Day Nursery - Wolfson Court since he is 7 months old. He is now at pre-school and has always enjoyed a lot to go to nursery. The nursery has been very thoughtful about moving him from one room to the other at the same time than his best friends, in order to facilitate
their integration in the new room. Staff are friendly and children are comfortable around them. The nursery is bright and there are a lot of space.

Friendly staffs and lovely location - just outside of central Cambridge. My son loves his carers and friends. All staffs work together well to care for little ones - no problems at all. Enough events to go and participate as parents if wish. They go for a little walks sometimes around a college and
see ducks etc. Highly recommended.

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.8 (8.773) out of 10 for Bright Horizons Wolfson Court Day Nursery and Preschool is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.8 out of 5 from 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.944 for Bright Horizons Wolfson Court Day Nursery and Preschool is calculated as follows: ( (70 Excellents x 5) + (2 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 72 Ratings = 4.944

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 3.829 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Bright Horizons Wolfson Court Day Nursery and Preschool is based on 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.5

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 76 number of registered child places is 15.2. 5 Positive Reviews ÷ 15.2 = 0.329

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
