Parcs Nursery offers high-quality childcare in Peterborough for babies and young children aged 3 months to 5 years old. Located on the Park Crescent Campus next to Peterborough Regional College, the nursery is within easy reach of Peterborough city centre.

They have been offering their high standard of services for 25 years and welcome everyone to the nursery. Their belief is that together they aim to provide a happy, caring atmosphere within a stimulating, safe and secure environment which will enhance the development and education of all the children in the setting.

Staff make it here, every single one is lovely, supportive and really care. They look after our sons preferences for intolerances and support with his speech. They let you in and spend time there with your child to see the environment and it’s lovely

My daughter came here for 2 years. She went from baby room to preschool. The staff especially management are lovely. I went through a lot in my personal life and they showed genuine care and compassion for my daughter. I got on really well with all the ladies and it was hard to say goodbye.


They

are great at their job. They play well with the children, treat them with great care and show them lots of positivity. I couldn’t have asked for such great people to look after my daughter whilst I had to work. The food range, the toys, and the nursery events they held were really great. I felt like I got great value for money here.


The only negative I have to say is that my child did have a lot of time off sick. This isn’t the nursery's fault but it was really hard to constantly have to take the time off work but still pay, however now looking back at it, I am glad the nursery spotted any fever and informed me promptly.

My children attended The College Nursery, and I was so pleased with the nurturing staff. They are enthusiastic and caring and are lovely. They take the time to give you feedback about your child's day as well as yours. They have amazing activities planned and exciting provisions for the needs of my
children at their different stages. The meals were healthy and tasty and cooked on-site. The menu varied, and my children tried different foods, and they were encouraged to at least try everything.
The staff helped to instill a little more independence in my children, asking them to do things for themselves.
The staff take part in different festivals and events and where possible invited us parents in as part of the nursery community, which was always great fun.
The College Nursery have fantastic use of a care diary on the app for easy communication too.
I highly recommend this nursery to anyone who is looking for one!

The college nursery is an excellent childcare provider. Staff are approachable and friendly and my child is always extremely well cared for. My daughter is excited to attend nursery and enjoys a range of activities. Practitioners speak with enthusiasm about my daughter and are keen to share her successes
with us. We are kept up to date extremely well using tapestry. There is no other nursery I would consider for my daughter as they provide a wonderful learning environment at a very reasonable price.

The support he received from the manager and the team was outstanding and they had also helped me with applying for additional support for my son. They kept me informed every step of the way, which I appreciate.

The College Nursery has been great for my little one. He's come on so well and learned so much already, the staff have been so friendly, welcoming and caring. Our son has been really happy and it's a great place for him, he has settled in well and made friends. The rooms are clean and spacious and have
lots of great resources. There are always different, well thought out and fun activities for him to experiment and play with. The outside area is lovely, there's a nice space for him to nap and rest in and the meals seem nice. We always get feedback at the end of the day on how he's been doing and all the staff seem to take real care and interest in the kids, even those in different rooms.
The only things I think they could improve on are more regular updates on the app, (they were quite infrequent although there have been a few more recently) and also my son has had a bit of a turnover of key workers this year.

Thank you for your feedback regarding the app, recent changes in curriculum put a lot more emphasis on the practitioners spending quality time with the children, therefore the number of observations will have reduced since this change. However, I am pleased to hear that you are enjoying seeing what they are getting up to in the nursery. I absolutely understand regarding the changes in key person, unfortunately, this could not have been helped - with staff going on maternity leave, but I am really pleased to know that he has built amazing relationships.

The Regional College Nursery will always have a special place in my heart. My firstborn went there and my secondborn is on the waiting list already. The staff is very experienced and highly skilled and the nursery manager is very understanding and supportive. I highly recommend this nursery to all parents
as their level of commitment to the development of the children is indescribable!

We moved here a year ago and this was the best year at preschool for our little one. Each day was a day of excitement to spend time with lovely friends and teachers. My little one moved to big school while reading at age 4, we encouraged reading at home and the nursery's support and little library played
a big role in this. Lovely place with the most incredible people. We are super grateful for the experience and look forward to our new arrival joining the nursery and having the same wonderful experience next year.

After looking at a few nurseries around Peterborough, I found out about The College Nursery and never looked back! The staff are all so welcoming and seem to really enjoy their jobs! My son started here at 10 months old until he left for school this year. In the three years, he was here, we never had
any problems. He was always well looked after and cared for. They encouraged and really helped him grow into the little boy he is today. The staff here are individually fantastic, you couldn't really ask for a better bunch. The support they offer children and parents is brilliant. So happy I chose this nursery!

It is a good nursey. It provided us with good support during the challenging time of the pandemic. The outdoor area is beautiful, the rooms fresh, probably provides the best amenities than any other nursery in Peterborough. The children love the place and I would recommend it to my family and friends.

I can’t recommend the College Nursery enough. Our son really enjoys his days there and has made many friends, both practitioners and children. When we first looked around we absolutely loved how friendly all staff were and how amazing the facilities were. The rooms are large and airy and the garden
is huge with so many activities to keep our son busy. The staff always keep us up to date with how our son is progressing and the one to one sessions we have with them always keep us assured that they are doing the best for him. Five stars!

I couldn’t recommend The College Nursery more. The staff are fantastic. They are so supportive not only for my daughter but also for me. They encourage learning that prepares them for school. In addition, both my daughters have learnt so much there regarding literacy and maths and come home full of
confidence. If you want a nursery for your children this is the one to chose. The staff are approachable and so so kind.

My daughter always feel safe and welcomed there. Staff is caring, friendly and supportive. Environment is safe and children's friendly. Plenty of different activities for kids and familys. My daughter always eating pudding at nursery but almost never at home. So I think nursery have same magical pudding.

I was recommended this nursery from my employer who had her own child there and I'm so glad my oldest attended and my daughter is attending at present. She is so happy and excited to go every day and when I collect her she has the biggest smile on her face. The staff are extremely helpful and help with
future development questions I have, they are friendly and always present and give great detail to what my child has done that day.
Even when you walk into nursery in the mornings, anyone walking through has a smile and greets you, which I believe makes a great start for the children to see as they start the day ahead. The food menu is excellent and encourages them to eat all different food, the outside play area is a great size for the children and the whole place is clean and smells lovely. I previously visited nurseries for my oldest before he started here in the same area, where your first impression, as you open the door, is a horrible smell which can put you off from the start. I highly recommend.

My son has been at the nursery for over a year. He is well looked after and is always enjoying himself when I pick him up. The food provided ensures he has a varied diet, even though he has allergies to cater for.
