The Peterborough School Nursery has provided an exceptional level of care and education for the youngest of children since opening in 2002.

The Nursery accepts children aged 2 months, to 5 years and for many is the beginning of a very successful education at The Peterborough School.

The Little Acorns room is specifically designed to cater to the needs of the youngest children. It features a play area, a sleep room, a separate kitchen, and changing facilities.

The Acorns rooms offer care and education for up to 12 children aged approximately between 12 months and two years, with flexibility based on each child's individual needs and developmental stage.

The main room features a range of activities including mark making, messy play, imaginative play, construction, and mathematics. The quiet room is equipped with sensory lights, materials, and toys for children to explore and have a sensory experience.

My son has been going to The Peterborough School Nursery since he was 11 months old. He is now in preschool and has had the most amazing time at the nursery. We are always welcomed with a smile and the staff go above and beyond to care and nurture him. I am so happy with the nursery that my next child
is due to go next year. The service we have received is excellent throughout- all thanks to all the amazing staff.

Both of my sons have attended this nursery, with my second son joining the baby room this year. The baby room team are warm, friendly, very caring and supportive. It's great to see my son happy to be dropped off, sleeping well and safe.

Great nursery. My son was only 5 months when he started. It was difficult to leave him at first but the staff put my mind at ease straight away. They provide you with regular updates throughout the day via the app, and he has the best time there! The staff in the baby room are wonderful!

My son was 2 years old when we moved to Peterborough, the entire nursery team were so kind and welcoming he settled in very quickly. They genuinely care and take an interest in the children. The communication between the management and rooms is also excellent. They do a variety of activities and I have
seen my son's confidence soar. Our son has had a wonderful time at the nursery and I would highly recommend this nursery for its warmth, personalised approach and nurturing ethos.

Our daughter started attending the nursery aged 3 and joined the preschool class. We have seen her grow in confidence and really develop her skill set, ready for her transition to school in September 2024. The staff and management are all supportive and friendly. She has a special bond to her assigned
key person. She has made good friendship groups, the activities and facilities are excellent. She comes home happy every day. We have been really pleased with the structure/timetable of her days and would highly recommend this Nursery.

The Peterborough School Nursery exceeds expectations on a daily basis. The staff are attentive, friendly and reliable. Our daughter enjoyed her time here immensely. We have three children at the nursery and cannot fault it (our eldest has been attending since September 2020). The staff are welcoming and friendly and really know our children. The management team communicate effectively, and we are invited to numerous events at the setting and they provide trips
and visits for the preschool children.
The environment and resources are constantly being updated and we find the use of the app helpful.
I have recommended the setting to a number of friends, and we leave our children there with confidence that they are safe, happy and having the best time.

My son is so loved in his nursery. They go overboard to ensure he is comfortable and happy. They take their time to attend to his needs and are very keen on his welfare. The staff are friendly and always happy to help. The 3 outdoor areas are beautiful and provide lots of opportunities for outside learning. The rooms are well maintained and toys are kept in good condition or replaced and they have a good structure for learning.

I could not love this nursery and the wonderful women who work there anymore if I tried. I found leaving my daughter so hard but the ladies that care for her have made it so much easier. She's come on leaps and bounds, especially with her communication and definitely her eating. They're also efficient,
communicate so well with me about her day and they really try and accommodate days when I need last-minute childcare. I'm absolutely made up that my girl gets to go here and I'll forever be thankful for everyone here the last few months.

Professionally, the most important thing to me is that the child is at the centre of everything we do. We play a vital role in their development and every child deserves the best opportunities. I have a great passion for natural resources, outdoor play and child-led activities. I love seeing children experience new things and the joy they feel when they discover they can do it!


My career has consisted of retail management, nursery management and operations management for different-sized nurseries. There have been a range of different settings, ranging from small 46 place nurseries, up to the large 124 places. These nurseries had a range of needs, and it was my job to support them with everything they required: from day-to-day needs, preparing for Ofsted visits, parent liaison and much more. I enjoy supporting nurseries with, all the day-to-day needs of a busy nursery and team, as well as showcasing the things we do every day that are outstanding and deserve to be shown to the world.


I live with my husband, my teenage son and my very special cat! As a family we enjoy travelling and visiting new places, we particularly like sunny holidays and sports arenas!
