The Peterborough School Nursery has provided an exceptional level of care and education for the youngest of children since opening in 2002.

The Nursery accepts children aged 2 months, to 5 years and for many is the beginning of a very successful education at The Peterborough School.

The Little Acorns room is specifically designed to cater to the needs of the youngest children. It features a play area, a sleep room, a separate kitchen, and changing facilities.

The Acorns rooms offer care and education for up to 12 children aged approximately between 12 months and two years, with flexibility based on each child's individual needs and developmental stage.

The main room features a range of activities including mark making, messy play, imaginative play, construction, and mathematics. The quiet room is equipped with sensory lights, materials, and toys for children to explore and have a sensory experience.

Having sent our child to another 'outstanding' certied nursery in Peterbrough, I can confidently say this nursery surpassed all my expectations. The staff are caring and it is truly amazing how invested they are in every child's wellbeing and development. The inside area is clean, food is nutritious
and outside space is spectacular! I am extremely pleased with our overall experience and would definitely recommend The P S Nursery to other parents.

The team have been fantastic working with my little one, from the minute she joined as a toddler, she's felt comfortable. Her key carers have worked hard with her through her developmental stages and it's been amazing watching her come into her own, becoming more confident and expressive.

A fantastic nursery through and through. My little one has been here for just over a year and has developed confidence, independence and language skills beyond her age.
She has had access to Spanish Lessons, sports and forest school and almost never wants to leave at the end of the day.
Staff are
fantastic, welcoming and happy to provide an update at the end of each day. This is in addition to the updates you receive throughout the day on the app. I can't recommend this nursery enough.

I would highly recommend the Peterborough School Nursery. My son has attended since 18 months old and has made excellent progress both socially and academically. The staff are welcoming and kind and know the children really well. They provide lovely experiences for the children and value outdoor learning.
Communication is good via the app.

Both of my sons have attended the nursery. My first joined just after his 1st birthday and continued through until he went to primary school last year. My youngest is still at the nursery and has been attending for just over a year.
The staff are approachable and professional. The manager seems to
really care for the children which is reassuring when leaving your child in their care. I have observed how kind and caring the staff are with the children.
I am pleased with the nursery and always recommend to my friends. My eldest went to school well prepared and it was noticed by the school that he was well prepared - already being able to spell his name and count way above 10 (which is what they look for).

TPS Nursery has done a fantastic job looking after both of our children. They provided incredible support to my son and we couldn't have asked for a better setting for him to grow and prepare for school. We had no hesitation in sending our daughter here.

Highly recommend the Peterborough School Nursery! Our son started here in September 2024 and right from the start the staff were friendly, caring and considerate, which helped him to settle very quickly. The staff always keep us up to date via the app (which is very easy to use!) and you can see clearly
that all of the staff have a great love for the children. It's a joy to see that our son has such a special bond with his key-worker, and this fills us with complete confidence he is in the safest of hands. The daily activities and facilities are great so our son is always happy to go to nursery and gets excited when we talk about the nursery and his friends. We cannot fault the service we have received and are very grateful to all of the staff - Thank you!

Our daughter started at the nursery Sept '24 and we highly recommend it. The settling in process was so thorough that she was more than ready to start! Staff are friendly and upbeat. They seem to enjoy their jobs and seem to genuinely care about the children. The app they use is really useful and they
update it throughout the day. Our child is always happy to go and we feel confident she is well looked after.

I have had two children go through TPS Nursery, and both have thrived. The nursery is very accommodating for individual needs, likes and dislikes, I feel like they know my child very well. TPS nursery entertain the children with lots of different activities each day, plus they offer optional clubs and
also host lots of different events where you can go in with your child. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I 100% recommend TPS nursery!

Since attending nursery, she has become more independent and no longer cries when seeing family members/strangers. She also developed an interest in playing with toys/engaging in different activities and she is finally getting used to having a routine and recognising when it's time to do certain things.
The
nursery is amazing at keeping parents updated throughout the day. They have an app where staff share updates on what she's doing and what has been done. You can also message them directly if you have any questions or want a live update, which is especially reassuring when your little one is feeling unwell or having a bad day.


The staff are absolutely lovely-so friendly, supportive, and reassuring, especially for a first-time parent. They create a warm and caring environment that has really helped my daughter grow in confidence. I'm so happy with the care she receives and the positive impact the nursery has had on her development.

My son has been going to The Peterborough School Nursery since he was 11 months old. He is now in preschool and has had the most amazing time at the nursery. We are always welcomed with a smile and the staff go above and beyond to care and nurture him. I am so happy with the nursery that my next child

Great nursery. My son was only 5 months when he started. It was difficult to leave him at first but the staff put my mind at ease straight away. They provide you with regular updates throughout the day via the app, and he has the best time there! The staff in the baby room are wonderful!

My son was 2 years old when we moved to Peterborough, the entire nursery team were so kind and welcoming he settled in very quickly. They genuinely care and take an interest in the children. The communication between the management and rooms is also excellent. They do a variety of activities and I have
seen my son's confidence soar. Our son has had a wonderful time at the nursery and I would highly recommend this nursery for its warmth, personalised approach and nurturing ethos.

Our daughter started attending the nursery aged 3 and joined the preschool class. We have seen her grow in confidence and really develop her skill set, ready for her transition to school in September 2024. The staff and management are all supportive and friendly. She has a special bond to her assigned
key person. She has made good friendship groups, the activities and facilities are excellent. She comes home happy every day. We have been really pleased with the structure/timetable of her days and would highly recommend this Nursery.

Professionally, the most important thing to me is that the child is at the centre of everything we do. We play a vital role in their development and every child deserves the best opportunities. I have a great passion for natural resources, outdoor play and child-led activities. I love seeing children experience new things and the joy they feel when they discover they can do it!

My career has consisted of retail management, nursery management and operations management for different-sized nurseries. There have been a range of different settings, ranging from small 46 place nurseries, up to the large 124 places. These nurseries had a range of needs, and it was my job to support them with everything they required: from day-to-day needs, preparing for Ofsted visits, parent liaison and much more. I enjoy supporting nurseries with, all the day-to-day needs of a busy nursery and team, as well as showcasing the things we do every day that are outstanding and deserve to be shown to the world.

I live with my husband, my teenage son and my very special cat! As a family we enjoy travelling and visiting new places, we particularly like sunny holidays and sports arenas!
