It is close to both the A14 for access to Cambridge and easy rail links for commuters into London.   

In 2018, the nursery completed a refurbishment of all areas; creating a warm, unique and stimulating learning experience for all children.

The nursery is open full-time from 7.30am – 6.00pm caring for children from 3 months to 5 years.

At St Ives Nursery, trained, caring staff ensure children develop socially, intellectually, physically and emotionally.

The nursery provides children with nutritious home-cooked food each day.

At St Ives Nursery, children also take part in extra-curricular activities such as cookery, social trips outside the nursery and much more.

My daughter attended St Ives Nursery from the age of 9 months to school Age and my son from 12 months.


The Nursery is fantastic, I couldn’t recommend it more highly. Both my children have special dietary needs and nothing has been too much trouble for the nursery staff when it comes to their needs,

including my daughter when she had a long-term illness and needed medication daily. It was stressful for me when she was ill but they were so supportive to me as well, as a parent.


Nursery staff have always given advice when requested and give fantastic feedback not only on the day’s achievements and fun but longer-term learning.


Communication with the Nursery is brilliant. The staff always come back to me really quickly and are always willing to help whenever they can.


It’s so hard to go back to work, leaving your baby in someone else’s care for the first time but soon the friendly faces at the nursery became familiar to us and I am so grateful for the support they’ve given.

I absolutely adore St Ives Nursery. The staff are amazing. The facilities are well laid out and looked after. The activities are fun and engaging. The menu is well rounded and healthy. I recommend this child care provider to everyone. They love my daughter and she loves them. It feels like I’m leaving
her with family.

Our three children are very happy at St Ives Nursery and really enjoy the time they spend there. The staff are all fantastic - they really care about the children and are so helpful and supportive. We couldn’t ask for more in a nursery!

The staff at the nursery are brilliant. My child loves the nursery and I feel completely at ease when I am at work knowing she is in good hands.

St Ives nursery has such a lovely warm, kind atmosphere. My little boy loves coming to nursery each week and doesn’t like to leave at the end of the day. All of the staff are very supportive throughout each stage of development including the dreaded potty training! Definitely a 5* nursery all round!

I am a mummy to two little girls aged 8 and 2 and a half. My oldest attended St Ives nursery until she was able to start school and absolutely loved her time there. My youngest loves her days at nursery and gets even more excited if she does extra hours/days. Staff all lovely, friendly and professional.
Wouldn’t send my child anywhere else.

I have been extremely impressed with St Ives Nursery.
After my maternity leave I had a period of uncertainty with my job, therefore I wasn’t fully able to commit to the days/times that my son needed to go. The management were understanding and supportive and were as flexible as they could be in helping
me in my situation.
My son can be quite shy and reserved with new people and situations but the nursery seems to bring him out of his shell and I have never felt uncomfortable leaving him.
He really seems to enjoy nursery, all the staff seem extremely pleasant and my son seems to like them all!
They really seem to know him as his reports are spot on, which although they should be, it must be difficult to remember each individual child and their separate abilities.
I already have, and will continue, to recommend St Ives Nursery to everyone. In a small town, there is quite a lot of choice for daytime childcare but I wouldn’t think to look elsewhere.

The nursery have been amazing! The staff are all wonderful and make sure your child/children are well cared for. As a mum of a special needs child, I cannot fault the nursery for giving my daughter the attention she needs. They go above and beyond to learn and understand her condition to be able to

St Ives Nursery has been a lovely "home away from home" for my son. He started there when he was 11 months old and the girls working there have been so good and understanding. They know how to deal with any situation in a calm and caring way. Management has been very helpful and forth coming to me as
a working parent; allowing extra sessions, helping me find evening baby sitters.
Low staff turnover, so my son became familiar with all the girls working there.
