Spring Thorpe Hamlet offers a friendly and secure approach to early years learning at an affordable cost. Children aged from 3 months to five years are given the best start to life through early years provision.

The nursery is located in Norwich and offers 56 Ofsted-registered places for children aged from three months to five-years-old. The setting was assessed as 'Good' by Ofsted in August 2017.

A team of caring, friendly and qualified staff help each child develop at their own pace in a safe, friendly and fun environment. Staff plan activities in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and actively encourage parents to become involved in the life of the nursery.

The nursery is open from 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday, 51 weeks of the year, excluding bank holidays and staff training days.

My daughter has been attending Spring Nursery Thorpe Hamlet for over a year now. She has come on leaps and bounds in time and all the staff are lovely caring and kind. I'm very much looking forward to watching her develop more and will be sad when she has to leave for school next year. My oldest daughter
also attended the setting a few years back and she also loved it so much. Some truly lovely people work here and deserve to be recognised for that!

The staff are wonderful, my little boy is always so happy to go to nursery and they do such a wide range of activities with the children. The communication between parents and staff is great and in particular, my son's keyworker makes so much effort.

I have recently transferred our daughter from this nursery to another one due to moving house, but highly recommend you take your child to Spring Nursery Thorpe area as she had a wonderful time there. The staff have always been very friendly and I really loved how much the children get up to during
the day. Our daughter loved the nursery pets, and playing outside in the garden. The app the nursery uses to update parents on the children's photos, food, nappy changes and updates is brilliant. It was sad to leave but she had many happy memories there and has learnt so much I'm sure from being around the staff and other children. Highly recommend!

My son really enjoyed attending Spring Nursery. The staff there are energetic and enthusiastic and provide many different experiences for the kids, especially relating to the seasons and different celebrations and things happening in the world. They create a really fun, creative learning environment
and the staff are very nurturing and supportive, really personalising the care they give. It felt the staff were really invested in the child's growth and learning. Very impressed, highly recommend.

The decking is damaged in the front where I saw two children already have an accident, but I pick up my son, this place is okay. Also, the gate looks like it is not 100% safe because a parent left it open and anybody can just go in. But I’m happy with how the nursery works. Staff are kind and care very
good for the kids. Management help me a lot, when I go pick up my son I don’t really see him play and pictures from him profile are missing a bit. The garden is amazing, I love how the shed is decorated and painted with little flowers etc.

My daughter absolutely loves Spring Nursery. All the staff are super friendly. The children are always doing fun activities and my daughter enjoys how much time she gets to spend outside. The app is great to be able to see what she has been up to and we love receiving the pictures of her enjoying her
day.

My daughter really enjoys Spring Nursery. She always comes home covered in paint and sand, so I know she's had a great day. The meals she gets are always diverse and the staff are lovely. I love getting updates about what she's up to and seeing pictures of her playing and interacting with the various
different things they have to help babies progress in regards to walking, speech, fine motor skills etc. Nursery also means she gets to spend time with all her little baby friends, who she adores playing with. The room the babies are in has recently been changed so they have a lot more space to play in and the outside space has been done up. There's so much stuff for them to play with out there, they'd never get bored. Any problems the staff are quick to address and talk to parents to troubleshoot and I love hearing about what she's got up to when I pick her up.

My son has attended Spring Nursery since 2021 and I have been very impressed with the staff, especially of late (after COVID). The nursery really pushed through and became a safe space for my son. He has warmed to several staff, tried new healthy foods, developed friendships and enjoyed his years here!
He often talks of new things he has learned, especially space, earthly, garden etc. I love seeing him play outside in the mud and water as children should. Very clean room always.

Spring Nursery is highly recommended.
Staff are always friendly, extremely supportive and welcoming towards me and my daughter!

My granddaughter is so happy at Spring Nursery and is really progressing before starting school in September. The staff are amazing, helpful and provide a very safe and happy environment for all the children. The learning themes are great and we adapted them at home.
The interaction between staff and
parents (or etc.) is very clear and the app is very good, giving updates on a daily basis as well as contact with carers.
The children love the cook's meals.
There is a great outdoor space and they enjoy trips out.
If you’re looking for an excellent nursery, I would highly recommend Spring Nursery.

Lovely nursery. Great staff. My son enjoys going to Spring Nursery.
My son has problems with separation anxiety, which the nursery dealt with well.
The staff have been very supportive with potty training.

I have found the nursery to be a nurturing placement for my child, whilst at the same time, offering a challenging environment where she can grow and develop. Staff are always friendly and put the children at the centre of what they do. The staff strive to put on different activities for the children,
and I know they do an excellent job at engaging the children as my child tells me about her day or recites a new nursery rhyme she has learnt. If there are any changes or updates in relation to the nursery, these messages are always passed on quickly on the nursery app, which has been useful to me as a parent. I just want to say thank you for providing a safe and nurturing environment for my daughter
