My 4-year-old son started Colourbox Montessori School & Forest School in September 2021 after we relocated to the area. I was keen to find a nursery which let him be the explorative child he is but also gave him some structure ahead of school this coming September. When I first visited Colourbox I was
taken aback by the amount of outdoor space they have - this is perfect for my energetic boy and it is so lovely that the children have some free-flow space and time to be outside almost every day.
Country Club is such a great fit for my son as he is outdoors, learning about nature and picking up some brilliant life skills too! He loves the opportunity to attend a couple of times a week and is growing in confidence and intelligence week by week.
I love the variety of food available to the children and the fact they are involved in laying the tables, clearing away and preparing their own snacks. These are life skills which we incorporate at home now too and my son is much more independent.

This nursery is amazing, my daughter has multiple dietary needs and they cater to everything she needs, went through everything with us, working together to ensure she is having everything she can. All staff are so helpful, nothing ever seems to be a problem. She has absolutely blossomed since being
there, she loves days she goes, she gets so excited getting ready. She’s learnt so many skills, her self confidence is flourishing more every day. I just couldn’t rate it enough, my other daughter is even starting soon as well.

Both my grandchildren have a big smile on their faces when nearing the school gates, so obviously they give a big thumbs up for their nursery experience.
My concerns have always been addressed and with a child who has special needs, there are always concerns.
Handover at the gate or through email
is always done promptly and with respect to privacy.

Feel content leaving my child in the hands of caring, well-trained staff who prioritise child-led learning. I also thoroughly enjoy my child attending the forest school part of the nursery which has shown many benefits in my child's development.

My 30-month-old daughter attended the nursery for roughly six months. And in that time we've been very impressed with her progress. In particular her independence which Montessori schools strongly promotes. Her social interaction with other children, speech, general knowledge, potty use and eating improved
quickly. We were able to work with the teachers to help her in areas she was struggling and we saw some improvements. Our daughter loves being outdoors and forest school provides daily opportunities for exploration and learning. Daily updates and photos are provided through the app which is very useful. There's a very good selection of healthy foods which the menu for the week is sent at the start so you know what your child eats.
We are moving out of the area and hope the next Montessori school provides a similar environment to nurture her growth.

The team at Colourbox Montessori School & Forest School Newmarket helped my son overcome some struggles I'd been having for a while. We switched nursery at Easter time 2021, and in just a few months gave him, and me, the confidence for him to start school this week. You all helped more than you will

An excellent place for your child to grow, develop and learn. My son has become so independent and confident in all aspects of his day. From dressing himself (including shoes) to recognising his and others names when written down.
My son has really enjoyed all the outside space they provide equally
with the more focused work up at the tables. My son is so ready for school now thanks to Colourbox Montessori School and I'm confident that the transition will be seamless.

My eldest has been attending Colourbox Montessori School & Forest School Newmarket since he was 3 and he absolutely loves it. After every session, he is so excited to tell me about what he has done that day and what a delicious lunch he had! He loves his key worker, and all the other staff too, they
are always happy and welcoming and he often comes home with stories of the games they have played that day and the interesting things he has learnt. He will be sad to leave for school in September, but I know he will have had the best foundation to start his school life.

My son was 11 months old when he started at Colourbox Montessori & Forest School Newmarket and leaves to start school in September. Colourbox has been fantastic with him through all of the rooms he has been in and he has formed lovely bonds with the teachers.
They help to develop and teach many life
skills, such as getting dressed, tidying up and making their own choices on work.
My son has always gone into nursery each day happy and comes out fulfilled and excited to tell me about his day which has made it so much easier to work and know he is being so well looked after.
All of the staff have worked so hard to keep the children safe during this last year and it’s a credit to them.
I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone and will be very sad to say goodbye to it later this year.

Our twins were struggling with our recent international move which hard for anyone, let alone four year old's! Their experience at Colourbox Montessori School & Forest School Newmarket was what turned it all around. They loved their class and they learnt so much! One of our twins has food allergies
and they were very accommodating.

My son started at Colourbox Newmarket in September. All the staff what I have experience with have been friendly, warm and welcoming from the start and the children there are so friendly too. The way the curriculum is organised and delivered is brilliant. My son is learning new words daily and has learned
other ways to communicate. Above everything, the best part of Colourbox Newmarket is the forest school. All classrooms are free-flow to outside play areas anyway, but the forest school area is like nothing I’ve ever seen anywhere else - it’s like a classroom in the woods.

Colourbox is a wonderful nursery, and we feel very lucky that our son is able to attend. The biggest endorsement is that he runs in! He has fantastic, busy days and loves the staff.
We are constantly amazed by the things he is learning through being in Colourbox. He is still very young, but he has

Our son absolutely loves nursery. He started at 9 months and settled in with ease. The key worker works closely with you to follow your established routines. Communication is excellent through the app, reading daily updates. We have now moved rooms and adjustment was easy. The amount of time outside
is wonderful, come rain or shine. As parents, we have noticed how much he has learnt. The level of independence and life skills at such a young age is lovely to see.
Even with all that is going on we have always been reassured and have never questioned about sending our son to nursery.
The staff are friendly and caring which is clear to see when our son goes running in each time.

Well, where to start! There are so many great things to highlight about this nursery!
My 2 boys have attended Colourbox, in Newmarket, from a young age; my first was just 9 months old, and as a first-time mummy, I was nervous to say the least!
The staff at the Nursery quickly eased my nerves when
I took my baby to his “settling in” session, and I witnessed their genuine love for all of the children in their care. Let’s be honest, nursery rooms full of babies can be hectic, but not here, the staff keep a calm and relaxed environment for the children, it’s breathtaking.
When it was time for my second son to start nursery, I was free from anxiety, as I knew how much he’d be cared for. He started at 7 months old, and during the Covid pandemic!
The Nursery educates our children, teaching independence and good manners, which my boys demonstrate daily, all thanks to Colourbox!
The staff working behind the scenes are equally incredible, always on had to answer any queries, very quickly!

Our daughter loves attending the garden house at Colourbox Newmarket. We are really impressed with the range of activities available to her, she has plenty of opportunities to get outdoors, and the staff are fantastic. My Son struggled to settle at his original nursery but he moved here and has loved it. All the outdoor activities and forest school keep him busy and happy. He has developed many new skills in a few months here which I’m sure have been progressing so well because they are part of day to day life at
Colourbox. We have been so pleased with how everyone has been with him and particularly through these Covid times all the staff have been amazing.
