My daughter has recently started Archfield House Nursery due to her current nursery shutting down. I have been soo impressed with the transition from one nursery to another. The staff have been on hand to answer any questions I have and it's lovely to see my daughter enjoying herself.

Fantastic nursery. The staff are always attentive, happy to answer any queries. Staff extremely knowledgeable in early years education and in the moment engagement. They always respect each child as an individual and bespoke their communication to suit what that child needs, I always feel confident

Archfield House has been such a welcoming place from the very start. All the staff are absolutely lovely and nothing is too much trouble. I feel completely comfortable leaving my daughter there. They organise messy, exciting activities which I know my daughter loves.

Archfield is an outstanding nursery which goes above and beyond for families, children and staff. The staff are skilful, supportive, approachable, dedicated and helpful. The environment is rich, educational, sustainable and safe. The attitude towards development, progress and getting ready for school
is amazing as well as the efforts to succeed and support child and parents. Food is healthy and nice.

Archfield is outstanding, lots of variety of things to do and food, my son loves it there - he is well looked after, happy and socialising. I’m so pleased with the interest and wonderful caring manner (and energy) of staff. They have been brilliant at keeping me in the loop with what he has been doing,
how his day was, and we get lovely updates and useful good email communications every week. We are grateful for the flexibility of breakfast club. The management planning and communication at this particularly stressful and difficult time during a pandemic has been outstanding and way over and above what I would have expected of any nursery.

We are so happy with the nursery. Our son is three-and-a-half and has been there for a few months since we relocated to Bristol. The staff are amazing, really creative, energetic and kind. The facilities and activities are fantastic. We love the extensive outdoor space and that the kids can go to the
forest and beach school. We are really pleased to have found this nursery and excited for our daughter to start when she turns one.

Our daughter moved to Archfield House from another nursery and we were naturally quite nervous about the transition. However, we found that she settled in immediately and was so excited to go to nursery each day! She is so happy and confident there. We have noticed how much the children are encouraged
to be themselves. There is always a huge range of activities to choose from and that the children are never bored. Our daughter loves playing in the outside space with her imagination running wild but also loves to visit the quiet corner where she can sit and look at a book. The support and encouragement from the staff is amazing and they really do nurture each child to grow into a confident individual! Meals are made on the premises and are varied and highly nutritious - the kids love them! I cannot speak highly enough of them - a wonderful place!

Consistently caring, supportive team across the rooms. They have really gone the extra mile (eg sensitively handled my son having to have an operation, creating special cards/cakes for Chinese New Year, introducing my son to another child going to the same school from their sister nursery so he would
know another child in his class). Excellent management and leadership. Both my children have attended since 1 year old and have thrived here.

My daughter started at Archfield House Nursery in September, aged 18 months. The staff have been great at settling her into nursery life. She clearly loves her key worker and makes good use of the amazing outside space. The nursery is well organised with good communication from the management staff.

All 4 of my children have been to Archfield and I cannot tell you how pleased we have been with the care they have each received. Every single care worker has taken time to get to know each child and to help them engage and develop to their maximum potential.
Archfield excels in so many areas - from
Forest School and Beach School to hunger bugs, stretch and grow, family days but for me, the winner has to be sibling time. My children love being together and this brought them the perfect balance of learning to be independent but also being able to spend special time together.
My youngest will be joining the pre-school class in the summer and is really excited. The facilities within Wise Owls offer so many opportunities for the children.
When my eldest started school, his reception teacher told me that she can spot an Archfield child in her class - they come ready for school; they are kind and full of enthusiasm.
It has been a wonderful start for my children. Well done, Archfield!

My son started nursery January'18 and is very happy there. He improved so much in the last few months. He gets to spend a lot of time outside and eats a variety of healthy meals. Staff are excellent with him and his behavior at home also improved do to work they do at nursery. I'm always impressed by
activities they do there and never feel worried when leaving my child for the whole day.

My daughter was with Archfield House from the age of 14 months until she went to school. I couldn't have had a better experience. Excellent, well trained, caring staff. Imaginative and child-centred care with the bonus of exciting activities and attention to detail. She did woodwork and loved it! Lovely
outdoor space, a chef in-house and a great pre-school provision with a qualified early years teacher.
Just visit, the joy and confidence of the children is obvious and shines through. It is outstanding for a reason!

Archfield is a wonderful nursery where both of my children have been very happy. It's greatest asset is the amazing staff team who go out of their way to do everything they can for the children.


The staff clearly enjoy what they do which makes for a very nice environment for everyone.


They have

pioneered beach school and have been taking the children on the train (which is an adventure in itself for them!) to the beach to explore.

The nursery staff are fantastic and my boy has particularly built up a great relationship with his key carer since he's been there. I feel like all staff really do treat all children as individuals and as such are really responsive to their specific needs. I have heard from friends about other nurseries
who have specific nap times for example - something that would never work for my son! They are also great with specific dietary requirements. I feel like he's really well cared for and thriving at this nursery - he is always enjoying a hug with someone when I pick him up after work!

Our youngest son has been attending Archfield House for 3 years. The leadership, of both the whole nursery, and the individual rooms is excellent, and the staff are the kindest, most loving team. They work so hard to help the children have fun and exciting experiences while achieving their learning
potential through play. I am constantly amazed by the range of activities that are provided; from Beach School (quite possibly the best nursery activity I have come across), Stretch and Grow, and Hunger Bugs, to the day to day play activities, such as the varied arts and craft activities and role play room. In the last few months alone, we have been to the Moon, hunting for dinosaurs and sailing the ocean on a pirate ship!
My son has often struggled with the daily transition of home to nursery, but with the care and attention shown by all the staff, he feels safe and secure and I feel confident that he is in a loving, kind and nurturing environment all day.

My children are 5 and 2, both have attended Fairlawn and we couldn't be happier.
The staff retention is fantastic, both my children have had the same room managers and key staff as they've gone through.
Everyone is very friendly and approachable but also really dedicated to the setting and care.
The
outdoor space is absolutely brilliant and the children enjoy lots of activities - music bugs, mud kitchens, art and crafts, beach school....just to name just a few!
The have a dedicated chef, who all the kids love. They've also won Soil Association awards for the catering.
Huge praise for the staff!
Also the office staff, nothing is ever too much trouble.
Would highly recommend!!!

We are really glad that we chose Archfield House Nursery for our daughter. All the staff members are so friendly and they all know her name, it really does feel like we are part of one big family there. The communication with parents is fantastic and someone is always available to talk things through
if necessary. The facilities are wonderful, with an amazing outside space which they use daily and she is a real fan of the food cooked by the onsite chef. They put on lots of extra activities throughout the year for all of us to take part in.
