Since my daughter has attended this nursery she is so much more confident in herself and with others. She was very emotional when she first started but has overcome that fear with the help from the staff at Mama Bears, she goes in happy and comes out even happier! I'd also like to say they have helped
her massively with eating and trying new foods. I love viewing pictures on the app of all the fun stuff she gets up to during her time there. Would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone who's looking for a space.


Staff are brilliant, caring and supportive!

Our son joined the nursery when he was one years old and now he is four. Not a single time during these three years have we had any complaints about the nursery. The staff are professional, friendly and above all caring. Both me and my husband work full time and it gives us peace of mind to know that
he is in safe hands each morning when we drop him off and know that he will be well taken care of. The environment is nice and warm. Our son has grown into a young little man now from the baby and toddler he was when he joined. He really likes the nursery and is very friendly with his carers. We like to see the daily update from the nursery and are happy to see him engaged in a variety of creative and fun activities. Looking back at these past three years, we definitely made the right choice by choosing this place for our son. Even in this pandemic, the management are really committed to providing a safe, fun and loving environment and we are very thankful to them. We highly recommend this nursery to other parents.

My three and a half year old has been attending Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Fishponds) since he was one years old and he's loved each room as he's progressed through each stage. These guys stayed open for key worker children throughout the pandemic and always welcomed my little one in with a smile despite
the uncertain times. He runs in, in the morning and comes out with a smile in the afternoon. Thank you Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Fishponds).

My children have been going to this nursery since 2016. The best thing here is the staff. They genuinely love the children and spending time with them, even though I am sure it is hard work. My daughter is doing so many lovely, creative and varied activities here. They are really stimulating her imagination.
Her speech has really developed and she knows so many songs! I feel confident in her safety and happiness here. She runs through the door every day to play! There isn't a high turnover of staff, so the children build strong bonds. The menu is varied and delicious. They spend lots of time outdoors. The videos and pictures on the app really give me a good idea of what she's doing. The nursery have worked hard to make bills affordable for parents and have been really flexible around our changing needs. My only quibble is sometimes the finance department make mistakes with invoices but this is not to do with the brilliant staff at Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Fishponds).

My 3 year old daughter attends Mama Bear's and has been there since 10 months old. She can be quite quiet and shy but every day runs up to nursery. She is fond of the staff and the other children. Activities are fun, varied and engaging, no two days seem to be the same. We receive daily feedback and
the manager is very responsive to requests, including flexibility on extra days if possible.
On top of that, the location is very handy, the garden and building are spacious and well maintained and the car park makes pick up and drop off super easy. Plus the park next door is good for meeting other parents and kids from nursery.

The staff are always kind and welcoming. The nursery manager deals with any enquiries promptly. My child looks forward to going to nursery and says she has lots of fun with her friends. My child has made a real bond with her keyworker and the low staff turnover means that children are also able to get
to know all the other staff well. I have been extremely happy with the nursery since my child started at age 6 months as a bottle refusing breastfed baby. The baby room staff went to enormous lengths to comfort her, for which I will be eternally grateful. My only complaint is that it is such a wonderful nursery that there are never any extra days available! I have also been really impressed by the way the nursery has coped with the Covid changes. They are obviously doing something very right as this is my first of ten years as a parent where all my children have not had the "cold brought home from nursery"! Overall, it is a very good nursery.

My daughter loves Mama Bear's Day Nursery. My son was in this nursery before he started school, so I never hesitated to send my daughter to the same nursery as I knew the staff are very helpful. My kids feel at home and the staff are very friendly and kind. They always keep me updated on how my daughter
is been doing her assessments. I will recommend this nursery to all others. If you are looking for a place for there kids. Even during Covid my daughter still goes to nursery as I knew they are doing there best to make it a safe place.

A very good nursery in a convenient location with friendly staff, even if it is a bit far from our home. I like the implications of the staff in my child's education and the reports about my child's evolution that they have sent so far. Thank you Mama Bear.

I find the nursery a friendly place where my child enjoys going. I have had no problem with any of the staff, they are all so welcoming to everyone and will keep you up to date with any information you may need.

Our daughter has been at Mama Bears for just over two years. She absolutely adores attending and has lovely relationships with all of the staff. The team all work together to form an inclusive and caring environment. Our child has some slight issues which are dealt with brilliantly and their SENCO lead
is great in helping us understand any challenges. They genuinely care about the children that attend and I know we'll miss them when primary school starts later this year.

Extremely caring and considerate staff who have formed strong relationships with both of our children. They’ve always gone above and beyond in all elements of welfare and learning and both of our children have strong social skills which in part is down to the quality of care at our nursery. Our eldest
is about to start primary school and she’ll be so sad to have to leave the carers at nursery - they’ve also enabled the kids to develop healthy social circles so our daughter leaves with strong relationships in place that will help her settle in primary school. The feedback on their development and milestones has always been excellent - daily updates and nursery app updates ensure that we don’t miss anything.

My daughter was extremely happy in this nursery. The staff are amazing. They love looking after our children and making them happy. Our daughter never had a day (after the settling session) when she wouldn’t like to go to nursery and every day she used to come home with nice stories about how lovely
her day had been and how many things the teachers had done with them! They have lots of patience and they are all so cheerful every day and that makes your day!
PS: our daughter never had any accidents in there!

We love Mama Bear’s! Our little guy has been going for nearly six months the now and he absolutely loves it. The staff are amazing and so caring. Clean and fun. Our babbers has massively benefited from coming here and we have grown to love the staff as part of our extended family.

My son has come on leaps and bounds since starting here at Mama Bears. His vocabulary has improved and now he won't stop chatting/singing which is lovely. The members of staff here are brilliant, so caring and keep you up to date on what your child is learning and what they are focusing on. Everyone
is always smiling and welcoming! They have a lovely garden which my son absolutely loves as we don't have a garden at home. I was worried about my little one going to nursery as he is very clingy with me but he is so happy here and I would highly recommend other parents to enrol their children here. My eldest son used to go here too and the nursery is just as nice, clean and welcoming as it was then.

My daughter attended preschool and took a couple of months to adjust. Morning drop-offs were difficult but the staff made her feel very reassured and confident. The site was very clean and welcoming, and my daughter enjoyed a wide variety of learning and activities. The staff regularly updated her learning
journey so I really felt in the loop and part of her journey.

I have a 18mth old girl and a 4yr old girl which they have both been attending Mama Bears since they were 9 mths old I cannot thank the nursery and staff enough for everything they do for both my girls, I would never choose another nursery. Both my girls development is developing very well which is
down to all the staff members who care for the children and plan activities around their needs and interest. They do lots of fun activities and messy play which my girls love. My 4 yr old will be going to school this year and I know we both will be sad to leave, but I know she will be ready to go to school as the preschool room do lots of things to get the children ready for when they go to school. Thank you and well done Mama Bears.

My child seems to have increased her vocabulary greatly and comes home singing songs. There are always fun activities for the children to do which seems well structured to meet the correct age abilities. The staff are friendly even the ones from a different room. They're gentle but authoritative in
the right manner.

Almost 4 years now for our child, and Mama Bear's at Thicket Avenue has been consistently responsible, engaging and relevant for all the ages that they cover. We thank you so much for the value you bring which must come from the culture there, and the levels of training that are maintained. At the end
of each day, we are given a sheet that covers the activities and also what food they ate. It's probably the case that children are more likely to eat new healthy things (and expand interests) when they see others doing it, which is another potential issue off the list! Great place.
